Need to give more details to your guest before arrival. Details to location. Easy to get to once you were there but was lost on arrival. Give access to doors. We came after hours and had no code to get in both doors. More knowledgeable staff on the area. Wonderful, kind person but not helpful in restaurants, info on attractions, etc.
Difficult to find the hotel
location was spot on, room was very luxurious especially bathroom, we had free drink refills everyday, excellent wifi connection
windows were left open when cleaning was in operation which invited thirsty mosquitos. one more thing no one was there to welcome us so we were hanging around for a while not knowing what to do but apart from that staff were great
On arrival we buzzed the intercom for Ca' Princess and were let up right away. Sweet hostess. The room was EXACTLY as pictured except smaller - prob used a wide angle for pictures; but no matter as it was large enough for my 19 yr old daughter and myself. Large bed - 2 twins pushed together but they didnt come apart so we had lots of room. Beautiful and spotless bathroom but not too much room on sinktop for hairbrush, makeup, etc so bring something that holds your things that can go on a hook and hang. Great water pressure and always lots of hot water available. Free snacks and drjnks - chips, granola, chocolate, cookies and beer, soft drinks, water, and yogurt. Only charged if you drank wine (avail in reception room). Our room was St Barth - Large window overlooked small lane - no view but you could still enjoy the atmosphere. Be sure to close at night as we had mosquitoes in mid oct!! A/C worked good but ask how to use properly. Tea kettle not in room but just ask and you will receive! Wifi code on end table under the glass. Remember to ask for code for door - enter code at entrance at campo and it will unlock both doors - sometimes upstairs door was locked and keys didn't work.
Be VERY careful when you enter both the common area and your suite - The common area has a little (approx 18 x 24 in) rectangular area that is flush with ground level but as soon as you step into it watch out for huge step UP to next area - No sign warning you and with luggage in hand it could be a nasty fall - i fell into wall but caught myself in time to avoid injury. Then upon entering suite there is a big step DOWN! Not exactly a complajnt but maybe should be mentioned before arrival. Only other small thing was the noise from the street carries on til the wee hours some nights (no one goes to bed early in Venice it seems) but closing windows contained the majority of street noise. We didn't mind as mentioned earlier. All in all, 5 stars - definitely will book again!!
Good accessibility to the Rialto Bridge and the St Mark's Square. The staff were very friendly and we felt comfort. The snacks served were brilliant.
Very nice overall !
Got breakfast at 9:30 one morning; left too early (7h) to get the other one; Not enough indication to find the hotel... Specially in the square located;
We could not pay by credit card only in cash for staying There was not all facilities that has been announced at website (like teakettle).
Loved how much space we had and the location was excellent. It was new an clean. Staff was very nice. Morning capucinni were very tasty.
Had to eat in bedroom and mainly pre-packaged food.
Beautiful room , very clean , nice breakfast simple but adequate served in room. Great location very close to realto bridge
Very dimly lit stairway, a bit difficult when arriving home after dark
The staff were very accommodating, lovely feel and very comfortable hotel. INCREDIBLE location, literally a 2 minute walk to the main square. the rooms were clean, large, and we had a full mini bar and breakfast included with the room, which was faultless. The staff spoke very little English but we were able to communicate adequately and in general, our stay here was fantastic!
We had one slight problem with our keys not working on the main door, which meant that we were waiting outside the main door to enter the hotel for over half an hour. This was the only problem that we experienced, but it was quite stressful.
- Excellent location: 5 mins from Rialto bridge and 5 mins from San Marco square - Room rate includes complimentary snacks and soft drinks in your room and breakfast (coffee and croissants) - It felt like we were staying in a hotel not a B&B. It's very new and clean - takes credit cards - very helpful staff. Met all our needs.
The room was well presented and clean. Good choice of complimentary snacks! Excellent location! Xx
The room was beautiful, had all the modern amenities (great wi-fi) and a fridge filled with complimentary snacks! Oh and they brought us croissants and cappuccino in the morning!
Since it's in the center of the city it was a little loud at night.
Location, great place for the price
Terrible customer service, had to figure out a buzzer system in order to get into the building, no staff were onsite (during check in hours). Our room keys were left in an envelope with no explanation of the multiple doors, check out process, etc. Ended up missing our airport shuttle due to a staff member telling us we had to pay at a different location, which resulted in us having to take a private water taxi to the airport for triple the price in order to make our flight.
Location was great. Right between Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square which is where all the action and atmosphere of the city is. Very helpful staff. Brand new accommodation as we actually stayed on the opening weekend and were upgraded to a Suite which was a great touch. Very safe area (although nowhere in Venice feels unsafe) Very spacious room. We even saw into the room we were initially supposed to be in and it was just as big as the family suite. Breakfast breads and croissants delivered warm to your room at time of your choosing every morning along with cereals and yoghurts in the room.
WiFi wasn't up and running at the time of our stay, but that wasn't the end of the world as Venice is fun to get lost in. On arrival, the front door was difficult to find. For future travellers, once you are in Campo San Luca square, put the H&M to your back and look across the square. Between the Snack bar and cafe/bar you will see a big black door...the doorbell on their! :-)
