Rart hotel. Ikke for stort. Roligt værelse Infrastrukturen i morgenmadsområdet kunne udvikles. I rum med sorte møbmer kunne et bord med opstats erstattes med kundeborde |

Service very good, staff execellent, only two complaints - the safe in the bedroom was broken and we were unable to get even one english programme, but there was a print out every day down at the desk of the english news. |

The city was great. Our room needed re painting. There was not hot water for the first 2 days. Staff were not understanding when i complained about not haveing hot water. Staff unfriendly went out of their way to give you misleading information regarding the water taxies etc. No coffee, but a kettle? |

I liked the central location of the hotel very near to St Mark's square. The staff were very helpful. The decor in the room is nice. I didn't like the food served at breakfast not a great selection, the room was also very cramped. The hotel is way overpriced for what you are getting more like a 3 star hotel. The hotel is very hard to find very poor directions provided. It took us 1 hour to find it from the Rialto waterbus stop it should have only taken us less than 10 mins. Apart from the decor in the bedroom I thought that the rest of the hotel was very tacky it wasn't what I had expected. |

The staff could not have been nicer nor more helpful. My son left his malaria medicine in the states and it was fed-exed to Italy. Although we were not able to get it, the staff tried very hard and made numerous calls to try to help us receive the medicine. The staff was always courteous and friendly. The rooms were delightful and very clean. |

its location is close to san marco and rialto. and really like the room size. reception is totally unfriendly, always pulling long faces when we asked them typical tourist questions. geez, if i know the answers i wouldn't have asked in the first place. |

The hotel is meticulously clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel is quite central to all of Venice's attractions and the majority of the staff are more than willing to assist you. One particular staff member on our request for a dinner reccomendation personally escorted us to the restaurant!! One particular receptionist is very blunt and was unwilling to exert herself beyond the basics. Although the hotel provides directions, don't be fooled it is almost impossible to find from the Rialto stop on one's first attempt. The Wifi advertised is not available in one's room and you must sit in the lobby for any reception. |

All in all it was a very good experiance at the Albergo Ca'Alvise Hotel. As first time visitors, we were unfamiliar with the area, timetables/route numbers for the boats, it would have been helpful to have the timetable info. at the hotel as we seemed to just keep missing boats wherever we were going. The staff did tell us the boat numbers, but didn't appear to have any timetable info. See above |

Everyone was very friendly and the location was fantastic. We had no trouble finding the hotel and enjoyed our stay enormously. Breakfast was all we could have asked for and for a venetian hotel the room sizes seemed good. We are certainly hoping to go back again. |

On the website the hotel said they were at St. Marco Square, which is not true, they are atleast a 5 minute walk. which i had to find out once i got of at St. Marco and then had to ask my way around for about 30 mins to find my way into the back allys of Venice. The Hotel Staff was very rude and even tried to scam me twice by giving me wrong change when i paid. Once for the hotel and the other time when they over charged my for the Taxi to the station. |
