Very cozy hotel, great location in the heart of Venice The breakfast was rather basic (which is understandable of such a small hotel) and could be of better quality. The only way to heat the room was to crank the air conditioner up, which I did not like; the bathroom was also rather cold

The family-run hotel is located near the Rialto bridge, just slightly off a main street. Plenty of eateries and shops in the vicinity. We stayed in a big double room overlooking a part of the Grand Canal through the small balcony. The decor is Venetian with golden silk wall covering and a beautiful Murano glass chandelier. The breakfast given was typical Italian with croissants, ham and salami. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall the stay was good, well worth the money. We stayed during winter and in the morning the room can be a bit cold once you get out of bed, therefore a hot morning shower is recommended.

Everything. The location was great (close to the grand canal) and the rooms were fantastic. It's a traditional Venetian house and the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming (breakfast was also great). This is a real hidden gem, with a great location and the price was really good for central Venice. I would recommend anyone who is staying in Venice who wants to keep their budget down to stay here (and don't get me wrong - this is not a budget hotel - it is a nice hotel at budget prices). Impossible to find (although this might be a criticism of Venice rather than the hotel itself). Better signage would have helped - if we hadn't have stopped to get a pizza and use the cafe's free wifi for google maps we would never have found it.

Location, staff, breakfast, room. On expensive side as most hotels in Venice. Difficult to find. Asked local real estate agent for directions.

The price was reasonable for Venice and the location was good enough, depending which parts of the city you wish to see. Only a few minutes walk from the vaporetta. Our room was on the ground floor and had no natural light and so was a bit dark and depressing, although comfortable. The breakfast was very ordinary.

The location was very good and not difficult to find. We got a good desciption of where the hotel was situated. It is good to have a map in advance over Venice. The cleaniness of the room and bathroom was great and our room has golden wallpaper and nice furnitures. We had a small view over Canale Grande from our window. Breakfast ok. Nice and helpful staff and a cozy small hotel.

It is an authentic Venetian house, old with charm and decorated with taste. The owner met us at the door. Very quaint. No feel of mass tourism. Owner emailed before our arrival to welcome us and arrange to be there upon our arrival. Can be hard to find as many things are in Venice, just don't forget your map and the card of the hotel like we did after going to dinner! Some very friendly locals helped us out. The area is central Venice but a bit quieter and neighborhood feeling versus extremely commercial without lots of nick nack shops, that is actually a plus. Easy walk to train station,no regrets.

Quaint and antique hotel. The location was good once you found it. It was very difficult to find ! Our room was dark and felt like a basement. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and hard. The TV was challenging to figure out, as there were two remote controls and neither seemed to work. We were on the walkway next to the loading area for all the businesses. So, very early all the hand carts were bumping along the cobblestones to make their deliveries. The tables for breakfast only seat two, so others must sit at separate tables.

The staff were excellent, very helpful. The hotel room was lovely, very old but in an antique way, the rooms didn't have numbers on them they had names which I thought was very original and homely. There was a good selection for the breakfast. It was slightly hard to find but after a few days in Venice I realised that most places are tricky enough so it's not really a compaint, overall I was very happy with my stay.

The owners are extremely helpful and friendly. The proximity to all the tourist destinations is a plus plus. Rooms are cozy and clean. Overall a very good experience at a reasonable price. The breakfast spread though homely was the same on all days. A little bit of variety and local flavor would be good.

leaving my luggage there as soon as we arrived. I booked a superior room and was given a standard room - and until I asked, they didn't tell me. I had to ask for the price to reflect the room classification as they couldn't give the superior room I booked. Breakfast was skimpy and service not very friendly.

“This was an excellent choice of hotel in Venice - so central for everything and the staff were both efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. We were a mixed group of ages from 30 years upwards, and it ticked all the boxes. Would highly recommend it. Breakfast was also excellent. It is also a very short walk from Vaporetta Ca d'Oro when you are walking with suitcases but its also close to Rialto when you want to have lots of activity.” Moira, Alora Malaga |
