Location is perfect, owners have a lot of local area information.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful, room comfortable. Very good location.
Stairs were difficult with luggage. The breakfast was not the best but adequate.
Friendly, helpful staff. We had a lovely large room with a view down to the Grand canal (but we should in fairness say that we gathered that not all the rooms were as large or had views). We liked the location - peaceful yet convenient for sightseeing etc.
Loved the clean and spacious rooms. The owners were very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our luggage. The breakfast was also very nice with a lot of variety. The place is a little difficult to find but not impossible. It's away from the crowd and the noise and still walking distance to all the major attractions. I would definitely stay there again.
Location The size of the room Quality of room
We were not allowed control of the air con in our room and were pretty warm at night. Wifi in room was virtually non-existent.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the cost was relative to similar places. The help given by reception was friendly and informative.
The breakfast was not great. In particular the coffee was the worst we experienced the entire holiday. We sat at our table in the breakfast room and had to ask twice for coffee, when it arrived it was not drinkable. Initially the hotel was hard to find, once we got assistance from a passer by we were fine.
The was very friendly and helpful. And the location is very good. 5mins away from rialto bridge
The wifi coverage was poor
Children under 6 years can stay FOC.
Great value for location.
The room was perfect, big enough for 2 with a nice view and the location of the hotel is very central. The breakfast is correct and the personnel is very nice
The door room is connected with the breakfast room which means that every morning we were awake by people talking and laughing. That was very annoying
Really good location just walking distance from the Rialto bridge. Also easy to find and the staff were very friendly. We would definitly recommend here.
We were treated very well by everyone at the family-run business, all of whom spoke English. We could see a little of the Grand Canal (down the end of the long alley) from our very nice, spacious, clean double room on the 1st floor. The included breakfast was quite generous with cereal, fruit, croissants, tea, coffee, juice etc.
Google Maps will not help you find this place - it will get you to the general area but it seems to point to the wrong address. However if you follow the directions Ca' Arco Antico provide you'll be fine.
a quite location good value for money breakfast was included
The location is great, very close to the Rialto Bridge.
We stayed in the ground level room, it was very dark, humid and stuffy and the air condition did not work. Opening windows will keep you away all night with noise and bugs. Either way no sleep!
Fantastic location, friendly staff and nice room in venetian style. Our room was very clean, the shower too. Rooms cleaned every day, towels changed every day! The breakfast was more than enough: croissant, bread, cheese, ham, butter, honey, jam, nutella, yoghurt, fruits, muesli, milk, tee and coffee are on a buffet table. The wifi worked well, and we could heat the room, because the weather was cold and rainy. We stayed here for 4 days, and it was perfect to explore Venice. When I come back, I will choose Ca' Arco again.
The women staff who worked there were extremely nice.
The man who worked the desk at checkout tried to cheat me by charging me double the tourist tax (4 Euros per day instead of 2 Euros). When I told him I was unhappy with his service he told me "I don't care what you think." So I told him very loudly how angry I was and that I would send a bad review to Booking.com and his answer was "So what? A bad review then." He then sent me an unsigned e-mail from the hotel's email address saying "You should put your act together." Incredible.
Excellent staff who are kind and fluent in English Good breakfast Good location (near Realto bridge, convenient to go anywhere in the mainland) Cozy and large room
the room was spacious and clean. so was the bathroom. breakfast was good as well. quiet and private.
the room (the bathroom was well-lit) could have used more lighting. plus, some of the bulbs were out.
staff Price Location
No heat , so cold
The staff emailed me a couple of days before I check in to know the time of our arrival and let us know how to reach the hotel by public transportation. Since our arrival was pretty late, the staff left key, wifi password, map and another useful information on a written letter for us. That was very thoughtful. The breakfast is simple but enough. The room is spacious.
Maybe because of our late arrival, our room was arranged next to the front desk in the ground floor. The room is a bit cold and the heating of air condition didn't work. There was no hanger for the shower head, so I have to hold it while showering. Wifi was on and off.
The room was very dark and rather cold
Very central location in Venice, down a little side alley, just off the Grand Canal. Excellent restaurant "La Patatina" nearby. Separate bedroom for the children.
Failed to get the shower to work in our double room.
We loved our stay at this beautiful little hotel. It's in the centre of venice, close to everything. The room was very nice and clean. Had a Venetian atmosphere. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The breakfast was very nice too, including jams, cheese, ham, coffe, 3 kinds of juice, 2-3 kinds of bread and pastry e.t.c. We defenetly recomend it and I wish to go back sometime soon!
The only thing I would say is that if the room had a balcony it would be the perfect room... especially if it was facing a canal...
The owner operators here are fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Room was large, comfortable and very clean. Hotel is located in a good location off the main path and close to Rialto bridge.
Perfect location for exploring Venice Good service at the front-desk
Por breakfast and coffee
