Very friendly welcome from the staff. The room was clean, the breakfast was fine and the staff great.

There was a lot of noise outside the room where they prepare and serve breakfast, which meant that we were woken up about 8 o'clock. Also the curtains in the room did not close. There was a net curtain to provide privacy, but day light came in from dawn, so again you were woken early. Not so much of a problem when we stayed in October, but would be bad in the summer.

The staff was really friendly and although the breakfast was small, there was a selection to choose from. The room and bathroom were very clean. The location was absolutely perfect though. You couldn't have picked a better spot for shopping and eating.

It was hard to find and Saturday night there is a disco nearby that we could hear in our room.

We were givena junior suite which was a lovely surprise. The bathroom facilities were much better than in other Italian hotels I've stayed in. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was informal and relaxed which suited us.

The breakfast was a little disappointing, the coffee was thick and strong! There was not much variety to eat.
