I would thank Laura and her husband for arranging great breakfast during our stay. The best breakfast in my whole trip in Italy. I miss the hot chocolate hehe. And also Laura helped us send postcards while the stamps were all sold out in tobacco shops. Just downstairs there is a great local restaurant named Osteria da Alberto, we ate there for 2 nights. The hotel itself is also great. Very spacious room with newly facilities and open the window you can have canal view. Owners live themselves in the same building, easily reach them if you need any help.
Wifi is weak in the room. It's not far from boat stop to the hotel, maybe 5 mins walking distance. But you have to carry the luggage walking across 5 bridges, it's really a tough job to me.
Very courteous. Host was very accommodating. Loved the breakfast. Location outstanding. A bit noisy in evening, but really very minor. Will recommend!
Everything is good. I stayed there for two nights. Luckily, my room was in the 1st floor. Hotel owners are very friendly and helpful. They provides us a local map with detailed explanations and even slippers after requests. There are not many options for breakfast, but I like the taste and the surrounding decorations.
Very very clean, beautiful furnishings and a large well appointed lounge to relax in, Very comfortable beds, Fantastic choice of pastries, fruits, cold meats, cereals, etc, etc for breakfast
Nothing, would definitely stay here again
Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
Paolo and Ricardo were charming hosts who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The location was quite central and the apartment was quite spacious and well equipped. Other than the steps, the plae was excellent
The apartment was on the top floor which necessitated negotiating some 90 odd steps which is very tiring when returning from a day's walking.
Our room was large, with high ceilings. The bathroom was large, with modern amenities. The common area is well-decorated and comfortable. The breakfast has a good variety of pastries, fruit, meats, and cheeses. Location is pretty good.
It's a little hard to find - but then again, everything in Venice is. Directions were good, so we didn't get lost. You have to go through a lower-level area and up two flights of stairs to get there.
We could not have asked for a more beautiful accommodation, highly recommend ca cappellis. Thank you Paola
We are 6 friends and Venice was our last destination in our Italian vacations. Ca' Cappellis is located quite in the heart of the old city in the impressive old house on the bridge. It is very spacious and clean with a big living-room and a kitchen. We appreciated the washing machine and the fridge. Paola speaks good English, she is very helpful and friendly.
There are 2 bathrooms, one with the bath and the other with the shower, and when used at the same time the water pressure in the bath gets poor.
Could not be better. Very clean and roomy. The location is a bit outside but still you can take the vaporettos at a station very nearby. Please ask staff their recommendations and you will not regret. Definitely will visit next time.
EVERYTHING! Great location Fantastic staff (including owner) Beautiful bedroom and living room Amazing breakfast If I return to Venice, I will certainly stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT
Great place!, lots of syle, good location, very pleasant hosts,
The location was in the older part of Venice. This removed us from the more touristy experience you may feel in the more popular areas around the city. The views from the top floor were very nice. The place was large and easily accommodated our family of 5. The wifi seemed to work pretty good.
When we arrived, we were told our room on was the top floor. This apartment has no elevator and 5 flights of stairs. Lugging the luggage up this many stairs was no fun. The apartment was drab and the beds very uncomfortable. No breakfast included ($15 Euro extra). The water temperature on the top floor was very inconsistent. Many cold showers for all. We also felt that the apartment was not correctly represented in the pictures. The layout of the apartment was strange, with both bathrooms near the kitchen and not the bedrooms. We never did see the beautiful room with the food in it. Apparently that's on the 2nd or 3rd floor and requires the additional $15 breakfast fee to access. At over $100 per day (US) for breakfast for a family of 5, we decided it wasn't worth it.
Ca' Cappellis is a wonderful Residence and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Great location, great ambience and a very well considered breakfast .
A multitude of TV channels but not one in English. A suggestion...the Residence could organise a porter service from the the Boat Station to Ca' Cappellis.
We spent a wonderful 4 night break st this lovely b&b. because it's small you get personal attention to whatever you ask richard or paola. The appartment was located close to st giovanni square which was very convenient for private water taxi transfers as it took us less than a minute from the boat to the appartment. The rooms are very clean and the amenities are in excellent working conditions. There is limited cell phone coverage on the ground floor but this didn't bug us at all!
Nothing at all.
Breakfast and the room itself as well as the whole ambiance
Cant actually find
Very nice owners.
The place it self is dated and lacks comfort.
location, air conditioning, breakfast and entry hallway
The rooms were excellent and clean. Our room had windows facing the canal. The bath room was very clean and excellent. Dr. Ricardo and Paula were excellent hosts and very friendly and go out of their way to make you comfortable feel at home. The other staff were very friendly too. The early morning breakfast was excellent. The place is a short walking distance from Realto Bridge - convenient for Water taxis and public transportation.
Owners were so polite and gracious, happy to meet them. (they send us a map to find the hotel which was a great thought, also they were so helpful of any problem we had.) location was great. hotel decoration is so classy. staff was so nice and kind. Quiet and romantic hotel, feels like you are madame and sir of your home.
Great location. Easy walk to anywhere in Venice.
Not the most comfortable beds but still a very nice place and a good nights sleep. Excellent host!
Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.
The only issue is the early morning noise from the children arriving at the school nearby.
Spacious quiet room. Bathroom had washing machine. Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings.
Very hard bed.
The staff were so very helpful and went the extra mile. It was like staying in an apartment for the price of a B&B. The furnishings and décor were a perfect balance of Venetian and contemporary. Ideally located just walking distance from the Water Bus stop which is the first port of call from the airport.
The stairs were steep and there was no elevator, although we were offered assistance with our luggage upon arrival and when leaving.
The owner and staff were excellent. We were lost the day we arrived and the staff came to meet us and lead the way. The breakfast was the delicious and tables were set very eloquently. Mary Jo G.
The four flights of stairs and the confusing walks to main attractions. But this is Venice, Right? Mary Jo G
