Once the residence of an aristocratic Venetian family this charming property is now a welcoming hotel. Enjoy breakfast out on the porch, which overlooks the garden.

Ca' San Vio is home to 5 bright, well-equipped rooms with private bathroom. Just 55 yards from the Guggenheim Museum, it is a few steps from Venice's Grand Canal.

Locanda Ca' del Brocchi is an old building set just one street from the Guggenheim Museum. Cross over the Grand Canal to Saint Marks in just 10 minutes.

The best bit is Carlo from Lido that you deal with in the morning.
A bit hard to find. It's in a corner with a very small sign. We passed near it many times. It's not noticeable enough!
Nice location Nice owner Quiet surrounding Spacious room
Shower has minimal water through put
Great location and comfortable room. Good breakfast. The manager was so helpful. We want to return.
The location is very convenient. Near most of the places that we wanted to go to but not as busy as most tourist traps. The place was very comfortable with big, spacious bedroom and bathroom. The room was decorated comfortably in Venetian style. I would definitely go back here for a peaceful and quiet stay.
The breakfast selection is quite limited. I think if they add a little more selection then everything would be perfect.
near to the accademia stop, staff are very nice and helpful. Room is large enough even for dancing (mine is on first floor with a courtyard). A very nice restaurant downstairs is absolutely a plus.
The owner sympathy
Noisy Bedroom, our was above a bar Poor breakfast
Large rooms, outside space, friendly and helpful host.
Average breakfast, not many fresh options.
proprietor was super friendly and helpful
Very good staff, very helpful
The horrendous to stench in my bathroom of drains never left despite carlo's best efforts. I had to buy incense. Awful.
Very friendly and helpful owner. Brilliant location, being close to everything and yet tucked away in a really cute area. Has a really authentic feeling. I will definitely go back here again.
The location is good, walking distance from most attractions on the main island of Venice. Breakfast is good and all-you-can-eat. The staff is friendly; we were given a map of Venice when we arrived. They also gave us a second blanket when we requested it.
Excellent location, very friendly staff (Carlos).
Bit noisy from outside street. Some mosquitoes.
5 minute walk to vaparetto stop/bridge crossing Grand Canal. Owner was always available and very helpful.
bathroom not as clean as expected We were disappointed that the King bed was 2 twins put together (equalling a Queen size bed in Canada)
Nice host, very friendly and welcoming, cleanliness is ok, b&b is good located, very good restaurant at the next corner
bathroom is hilariously small, bed killed our backs, room maid didn`t do anything, we got eaten by the flies; only reason we accept the price as fair is, that prices in Venice are high in general
Location is good. Stuff is friendly and helpful.
We had a room in second building. There is a restaurant on the 1st floor, so it was impossible to fall asleep before midnight. Wi-Fi was unstable.
Quiet location but handy to everything, room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, owner was very friendly and helpful, definitely recommended.
Bit hard to find.
Good location although shame it wasn't actually on a canal.
Most rooms are very small. The room shown in the online photos is the largest. Also most rooms have very small windows overlooking a tiny courtyard or another building. The beds had plastic under sheets - not good for a hot climate! Reception was often manned by people without the authority to make decisions and to help guests.
Right in the centre of Venice, easy access to all attractions. Staff very helpful and guided us well about city.
I liked the workers. There was a Filipino guy, I think that he said his name was Niko, who was so helpful and friendly. When we arrived we were so tired, and he really went that extra mile. After carrying our luggage up the stairs, he actually walked us to the dock to show us where to get the boat and then walked us to a restaurant so we wouldn't get lost.
There were too many steps for me, but in the end, it was worth it.
Location - Accademia is a good location from where to walk / take water bus to any part of the city. We couldn't find the hotel but after a phone call someone came to show us the way. Marco gave some good info about what places to see on the next part of our holiday
View from the window - a brick wall with a sun deck higher up which overlooked the bed when you lay down(shutters were broken so couldn't be used, which also allowed the light to wake you in the morning). Very basic breakfast. When you got back at night time the sensor light didn't come on until you'd climbed the stairs in the dark! Bathroom was extremely small (the phrase no room to swing a cat was true!) - when you used the toilet your legs touched the wall in front.
It was a very pleasant short stay in Venice. I like the kitsch that goes with the hotel. The location is great. And being served a nice cup of coffee at breakfast was quite nice.
Nothing to take note of.
I travelled with my mom and we liked the location and the accommodation as well. We liked the owner: he is really nice, calm and helpful. I wanted to give for my Mum that unique "Venice"-feeling and an outstanding atmospheare, this hotel was the best choosen for my plans. ;)
Finding the hotel was a little bit difficult (but the staff of the nearly restaurant was really helpful!) and the opposit kitchen of the restaurant was a little bit noisy at night but we were so tired every day that wasn't problem anymore........ Thank you for everything!
Cleanliness, friendly staff, great location, close to many eating places.
Very helpful & friendly staff Comfortable room, lovely and bright, but shutters to darken the room if you want a sleep in. Windows opened to a courtyard, nice and quiet. Great location, close to a dock that is on the line from the airport, and never needed to take a water taxi to explore the city. If this is your price range this place is an extremely comfortable stay. Wouldn't definitely stay again.
Location was awesome. Dorsoduro is hands-down the best area to stay if you want to get away from the tourist scene. Size of room was great, bathroom was very nice!
Hot water ran out in the evening. We got eaten by mosquitoes all night (despite windows being closed and killing all of the ones flying around before we went to sleep. We noticed blood stains (ew) all over the walls from previous guests trying to kill the pests like we were. Made our stay pretty miserable. Probably a problem in most of Venice, but there are likely hotels that have less of an issue.
