This completely restored hotel is housed in a building which used to belong to the Barbaro family, prelates and diplomats in the service of the Serenissima Republic of Venice.

Despite its restoration, the hotel still offers the intimate and typical atmosphere of the Venice of the past.

Many of the superior and standard rooms boast enchanting views over the Rio di Ca' Dolce, and all contain period furniture and all the latest modern comforts.

Very nice staff, clean and cosy rooms, located in very beautiful place, magnificent view from the terrace on the roof.

In general hotel was very lovely with excellent location and friendly staff.

Rooms were very small in size, breakfast buffet was the same every morning, wireless broadband wasn't available upstairs contrary to advertised, had ordered bottle of prossecco on arrival for my friend who had birthday on our arrival date and it was very dissapointing that it wasn't organized

They need to provide better directions from the Taxi Dock,Had a lot of problems finding hotel no one new were it was close to dock.

coffee maiker, refridgrator in the rom would be nice; breakfast is a little too basic.

Good quiet location, close to a water-bus stop. Hotel is very attractively decorated. I had a single room which was more spacious than some I have been in before!

Breakfast was all right but a little fresh fruit would have been welcome.
