It felt very central but was still peaceful and quiet.The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. It was on the waterway but felt tucked away and private. A very enjoyable experience. It would have been great to have a small toothpaste in the room for the traveller that arrives late and clearer directions from the airport to the hotel as it sounded complicated, hard to find and we received conflicting information from the website and staff. |

Customer service from the front desk and breakfast areas was excellent from all persons.The location is excellent for both access to the city sites and to ferry service. We did have water backup from the sewer, but that was attended to to our satisfaction. This is a very old hotel, yet it has modern electrical and plumbing. |

The staff were nice they guided us very well, the free boat ride to monaro island and ticket to glass factory was nice.. But we have to come by our own expence.. I paid for cannel view room , but when we open the window of our room; ac stop working that is the standard setting; bcoz of which we cant take the view of view not alos from the glass window.. |

Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean and neat. Conveniently located though. Don't know if I'd stay there again though. If it's just a sleep and go pad you want, this will do the trick. Expect nothing more. Difficult to find at first. Rooms very small. Overpriced for what you get but then, it is Venice. Our room overlooked a canal, albeit a commercial canal for smaller commercial boats (builders, laundry etc ), so it gets noisy very early in the morning. |

Ideal location, 5 minutes walk from Vaporetto stop Ca'D'Oro and 10 minutes walk from the Alilaguna boat shuttle to the airport(13euro, hourly service).Cheerful, helpful English-fluent staff at 24 hour reception, small but recently and obviously expensively renovated rooms, very clean. Lift and AC worked. Breakfast(8-10. I thoroughly enjoyed Ca'D'oro, not one complaint! However, visitors to Venice (especially first-timers) should bear in mind Venetian buildings are 300-600 yrs old, with small rooms overall, and supply/demand makes this a relatively pricey city for hotels,but good finds like Ca'D'Oro are there. |

It was in a quiet area, but still close to the sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with a view to one of the channels. Could hear the water running when people upstairs went to the bath room.But we did not spend too much time in the room. |

Very friendly and convenient hotel for exploring Venice. Room had excellent view over small canal which greatly enhanced the stay. Breakfast room was rather small and cramped. |

All the staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The hotel was in a good situation for exploring the whole region. We very much enjoyed sitting in the rooftop garden. For a three star hotel we felt the choice of dishes offered for breakfast was rather limited. |

The facilities were fairly limited and the room was rather small but the staff were very helpful and the hotel is very well situated to be able to explore all parts of Venice |
