loved its location, the views of the canal from our room, watching the people delivering goods from boats. It was near enough to attractions but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet of location. room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of variety for breakfast. helpful staff

Good large room. Friendly staff.

Breakfast room was too crowded and the coffee machine in the room was constantly going. So it was noisy and cramped, not a relaxing breakfast. Air condition was faulty, at we were not told about it until we arrived back from our day out, with the windows closed ( recommended when using AC), the room was far too hot all night.

Location and price were excellent

That I didn't stay there long enough I had to go back home :)

Close to the ferry terminal, good shopping near-by, plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area, quiet.

The bathroom was not big enough to swing a mouse let alone a cat!

We had stayed at this hotel on two previous occasions. The location is excellent and the hotel has obviously been enlarged since we last stayed there. It has a beautiful altana and lovely entrance with a well head. Our stay was very enjoyable and the rooms are spacious and very clean. I would not hesitate to book there again.

I didn't like the breakfast arrangements - the room was very cramped for the number of guests and the coffee/beverages were from a machine - why? In Italy of all places, you should be able to get a decent cup of coffee at breakfast. Also the wifi was only really available in the reception are of the hotel, and not accessible from the bedrooms.

Location, price (for Venice standards) and cleanliness

No bathtub (only shower). I think my deluxe room was "normal/classic" (but can't compare to be sure).

Excellent location, attractive views & adequate facilities.

Nice location. We got a room with the window against the canal. Very nice waking up in the morning and looking out on the boats and water. Short walking distance to shopping area. The hotel is located a few minutes away from the busy main canal, so prices in the restaurants in the hotel area was much lower. Plenty of restaurants in the hotel area. Clean rooms. We recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was fair but not the best.No wi-fi access in the rooms.

An excellent hotel. Rooms beautifully decorated and very helpful staff who spoke excellent english. Good location as close to tourist attractions but far enough away so quiet and surrounded by reasonably priced shops, bars and restaurants. Arrived by water taxi direct to hotel - an expensive but good way arrive.

Smelly room in the afternoons and evenings

Good location close to water taxi. Older hotel but well appointed and quite comfortable. Convenient to the sights and attractions of Venice. Excellent buffet breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Free WiFi in the public areas.

Would be more convenient if WiFi were available in the room.

The location was perfect. Equidistant from the Rialto bridge, St. Marco's and the railway station. Also, the water bus stop was just 3-5 min walking distance from the hotel. Right infront was the main shopping street of venice. The rooms were small but cozy and clean.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, with the main entrance through an interior courtyard, at the intersection of two canalettos. We requested a room on the upper floors with a view of the canal, and by golly, we got it! The rooms have an "old time" feel, with Murano chandeliers and old style furniture, but that goes really well with all the history and the charm around you. The location of the hotel was excellent as we could walk everywhere. They offer a free shuttle to the island of Murano, which is a must see. The breakfast was basic but good and served in a room with marble floors and spotless table cloths. The terrace on the 4th floor has only two tables, with a wonderful view of the city. Every night after dinner we would go up there with a bottle of wine and just look at the stars. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again.
