Hotel Ca' dei Barcaroli    

Hotel is near the center of Mestre, 5 min walk to the bus station (going to Venice takes 10 min with the bus), but I think this is the only positive.

Paid wi-fi...for the price of the room per night you would expect at least free wi fi. Breakfast was really poor, the fruits were there for decorations only as the apples were already turning brown...selction was cereal, bread, cheese, ham and 1 type of pastry and metro bought yogurt...really poor and the hotel is not really cheap so that they have Room was spacious enough trying to have a modern touch, but it felt dirty and bathroom wasn't particulary clean either, the sink was terribly small, there was no soap replacement or even the wet towels were not changed. I wouldn't recoment this hotel and I found it the worst we stayed while being 10 days in Italy.

it's in mestre, so it's 15 minutes bus from the centre of venice, which isn't that bad after all.

Close to trams and buses. Very friendly staff. Breakfast-buffet-many choice-excellent warm croissants. Parking available behind the hotel. Recommended for business people or anyone who needs to stay overnight. WiFi available and free.

The bathroom is clean but you should replace the shower. The bed is quite uncomfortable and the pillows were too small.

Niente!!

It says that I has laundry service on booking.com, so we specially booked it to have laundry service. But when we arrived we saw that it doesn't have it.

5 minutes walk to the bus station to Venice (number 4 or 4l). Free parking,

Few places to eat nearby but Michelin restaurant - it was delicious though. Wifi - was free cause we made our reservation though booking.com - but it was of no use - very bad and low connection.

Everything! Location was awesome - the Mestre is a great place to walk around after coming back from Venice. All within a walking distance. Room was well decorated and comfurtable Ouner was super nice Very good value for money

Parking spot is a bit narrow, but doable.

The staff here are very nice and friendly. There is a bus stop just 500 meters away, which can take u to the Venice. I am glad that I have made a right chioce to stay outside the Venice city center. If you stay in the center, make sure u know the way. Cos it's so easy to get lost here.

I liked the location, very close to Venice, with bus stop 5 minutes from the hotel, which takes you in 15 minutes to Venice. Nice staff, nice breakfast, nice room, parking OK.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member who gave us a warm welcome and a choice of two different rooms. The hotel was in a great location close to the shopping centre and town square and was very conveniently located near the bus stop to Venice. It was also very quiet in the room even though it's on a main road. We also found some good places to eat nearby, including an excellent Japanese restaurant. Overall, a very good stay and extremely good value for money.

It was ideally located on the mainland for a bus trip to Venice. Very helpful, cheerful staff. Great variety for breakfast.

Non smoking rooms smelled of smoke.

Staff very helpful! Breakfast and a lot of fresh and varied. Comfortable and clean. I was quiet and well-equipped rooms.

A private car parking entrance is narrow and difficult.

The hotel manager and employees were very nice. The secure free parking behind the hotel was great. The hotel is close to the downtown area...restaurants and shopping. Very close bus stop to the hotel. The restaurant recommendations from Thomas were good. But, more information on buying bus tickets and how to get back from Venice would have helped me more as a single traveler. Even though the area was run down, it was very safe as I walked around in the evening. Great little bar right down from the hotel. Best spritz in the Venice area, 3€ and free nibbles. Free WiFi, even though they said there would be a charge when booked. Very nice perk. I don't eat the breakfast (save my calories for lunch, happy hour and dinner) but there was always a nice selection and it smelled great.

The outside of the hotel is not great. The area seems to be rundown and lots of graffiti.

The room was basic, but nice, clean and spacious. Everything you would expect from good 3 star hotel. Hotel staff is very helpful. Breakfast was good, fresh and tasty and I even was able to order decent coffee, not the usual "black stuff" you get in hotels. The bus to Venice is stopping close by. Overall, I'm very pleased with the choice of the hotel. Recommend.

This hotel deserves 10 out of 10. Excellent large modern clean room, very well situated, just a 10-minute bus ride from Venice, about 100 metres from a bus stop, really nice and rich breakfast, very kind and polite front desk staff. The free parking is really handy as you basically avoid all the looking-for-a-parking fuss. We will be definitely coming back!

Everything was perfect!

The hotel was located close to bus to Venice. There were restaurants close by and a short walk to shopping area. Newly renovated, clean and modern design. Good staff and breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and it was convenient to both go to the airport as well as to Venice.

There was noone there when I first arrived and I had to make a phone call. They finally did arrive and take me to my accommodation.

We stayed at that hotel while visiting Venice and it's just excellent. Pretty room and good breakfast. Easy to reach Venice.

Very good price and location for those not wanting to pay to stay in the heart of Venice. This is also a great place to stay if you want to be in a quiet place, away from the crowded streets of Venice. Bus to Venice was a few minutes walk from hotel. Very nice staff, parking available in the back. Room was very clean and comfortable. Despite the fact that the hotel is on the street, the room is quiet, the windows are installed very good suppressing noise.

Breakfast room was simple and mostly industrial food.
