Ca' Del Duca  

Dit is een ontzettend leuk en klein hotelletje direct achter het San Marco-plein. Het heeft maar 4 kamers en het ontbijt wordt op de kamer geserveerd. Wij hebben de auto in Mestre, direct tegenover het station geparkeerd (€ 30,- voor dag en nacht), en vervolgens de trein naar Venetië genomen waar ja dan binnen 10 minuten bent. Het gondelvaren in Venetië is duur (€ 100,- voor 1/2 uur varen).

De badkamer is aan de kleine kant. Dus ook kleine douche en toilet in de hoek weg gestopt. Ook waren de buren op de andere kamer goed te horen. Toch kon dit onze pret in dit leuke hotelletje niet drukken.

Loved the location and the owner was very helpful. It's a nice little hold in the wall with 4 rooms. I would call it a bed and breakfast kind of place. It's very clean, great price point for what you get and location is amazing. All the bakeries, gelato (venchi), and restaurants are affordable and very good. Would book with them again. Went with a 2.5 year old and he had a cot for him. Location, clean, price, free fast wi fi! Owner may need to invest new cables for the tv ;)

Very good location, near San Marco square, Realto bridge with restaurants around in the shopping venue. Hotel owner is very helpful. I can let my lugguage for the whole day before leaving Venice. The hotel is small and quiet, then you can enjoy your breakfast in your room served by hotel staff. Room is large with full and new equipment. Heating system is good. Stand bath is a little bit small but hot water system is quite well.

It's a little bit difficult to find the address, because there's no sign. But if you are in the middle of San Marco square, back to the Port, go straight to the street in the middle over the bridge, turn left, then turn right, keep going after T-juntion. It's on the left at 96 but you must keep an eye to see and knock the door.

Excellent value for money. Great location, you step right into the heart of Venice, a narrow street with shops and restaurants. 3 minutes away from st Mark's accross which there is a vaporetti stop. We loved it for the mood, much like german and austrian pensions. All thumbs up.

It was not an issue for us, but if you are expecting a 'hotel' with big open spaces in the foyer, bell boys, bars and restaurants you should look elsewhere to avoid disapointment. This is a great small guest house with a lot of athmosphere but only with the bare essentials: room, bathroom and a breakfast.

The air conditioner was fantastic. It was so hot in Venice and was nice to come back to a room the was so cool. The room was very big too and breakfast it the room was lovely.

It was like finding a Bessel in a haystack. We walked up and down this street for about 20 mins trying to find it, even asked people on the street and they had never heard of it. I finally found it and it is just a door with the name on it. Lovely place but just keep it in mind that is was very very very har to find

The location to St Mark's Square

Poor service: no one on premises except during the morning breakfast (which was very skimpy: two hard rolls & two croissants for two people & enough coffee for three medium cups). No refills of soap & shampoo, and did not replace or even dry the towels. It took a fellow guest to show me the method for getting the user name & password for the internet.

the rooms are really nice we had a superior with a real Venetian feel, lots of creams and gold brocade. the bathroom was nice and clean and air con worked. had tv with satalite, mini bar, tables and chairs, could not really fault the room

main complaint could not check out as armed police at reception then been frog marched down the street when we did leave by police??? arriving at the hotel you have no one to greet you and you find the main door off the street open (all night) and a key to your room with your name waiting for you at what is a small reception. they advertise the rooms as free wi fi which is only possible to use if a member of staff (we saw 1 the next day) is available which seems to be until 2 oclock. breakfast is served on a tray in your room so you dont have the option of a 2nd cup of coffee and finally we did not have a room with a view but a brick wall. not the level of service you would expect for the price you pay

Excelente Ubicación, personal muy amable y servicial. Las habitaciones están muy bien.

Al no tener recepción no tienes donde dejar las maletas el dia que te vas si te marchas de venecia después de las once (11:00am).

Excelente ubicación al lado de la Plaza de San Marcos y con el frío que hacía el fin de semana pasado (el de la ola polar) se estaba genial en la habitación y sin ningún tipo de ruido ni molestias. Todo muy bien.

La colazione in camera è stata bellissima

Me ha gustado la ubicación, la decoración veneciana de la habitación, la relación entre calidad y precio. Es importante saber que la calle se encuentra muy próxima a la Plaza de San Marco, entrando por el Sottoportego de Dai. Es facilísimo si se conoce este dato. No dispone de espacios comunes. El desayuno se sirve en la habitación, lo que favorece la intimidad y la tranquilidad.
