Beautiful old building in quant little village, very central in the Langhe area Great food and wines which are produced by the family that runs the agriturismo Very friendly and helpful owners and staff
Countryside Accommodation Owners Evening meal;
Very quiet in late Oct, lots of things closed down
Food and accommodations were outstanding. Would highly recommend.
Verduno is a lovely little town nestled in the Piedmont. When staying here you definitely have to eat (at least once) in their restaurant. It's located on the same location. Already in morning the smells of the delicious food starts coming from the kitchen. When in the area visit Alba, Bra, Barolo and Barbaresco. All just 10-20 minutes drive from Verduno. The breakfast is good and plenty and they are always willing to give information about the area etc.
Good location, value, quality & authenticity. The family and staff were very attentive with their vineria being literally up the hill, where you can purchase some of the families production of Barolo, Barbaresco etc. At excellent value
Great location for wine touring and tasting. Very good restaurant on ground floor. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Patio area great place to relax with a bottle of wine in afternoon.
Mattress was not comfortable - but beds like this seemed to be the standard throughout Italy.
We loved this place. We were looking for somewhere in the Barolo area to sample some of the wines. We were delighted to find Ca del Re is part of a vineyard business which produces both Barolo and Barbaresco, two of our favourite wines. Staff were brilliant and food excellent. The cellars are in the the Castillo about 100m up the hill. We would definitely return.
Wifi was a bit hit and miss in the room.
Friendly approach and good food with nice price & (tasty) quality .. very clean room. They're definately open for children - easily addopted additional bed for the little one.
Poor WIFI quality (if you need it in such place) ..
Personnal, Atmosphere. The nice garden.
Perfect location to visit the region, very nice and clean hotel.
No espresso at the breackfast
Ca Del Re was a hidden oasis. After a busy family holiday we came here to recuperate and it exceeded our expectations. The family than ran the hotel were warm and friendly and the village the hotel was located in was beautiful. It is a small village and off the tourist path. We enjoyed the fresh locally sourced food that was served in the restaurant. The wines from their own domain were incredible as well. Verduno is a sleepy village that can be explored in a day but you can linger and really get a feel for the village at the local wine bar cafe and the park. There are two incredible restaurants in the village. If you are looking for big city thrills in Italy, then Verduno is not for you. If you want to really experience what life is like in rural Italy and explore village life and slow down, then Verduno is the perfect spot. We found it breathtaking.
This was a hidden treasure. We did not know what to expect when driving in to Verduno but were quickly impressed and comforted upon our arrival. The property is very well maintained and the owners and staff made our stay very enjoyable. They know what hospitality is and made our stay a memorable one. They went out of their way to make our stay one of the best in our 2 1/2 weeks in Italy. The food served was of excellent quality and freshness and served quickly. This coupled with family ties to the local Barolo wine production, made this location a real gem. Howard
Quality of their food and wine; location.
Owner appeared very disinterested and not very welcoming- as if she was doing us a favour to be there; rented bikes and did not offer us a map or any information regarding the area. Cold service. Would not stay here again.
An absolutely amazing agriturismo in a beautiful little village. The owner was friendly and did everything to make us feel very welcome. Would certainly return again.
Well kept place in the peaceful and beautiful Verduno area. Great hospitality shown by owners, look forward to coming back one day
