The place looked excellent, the gardens were lovely (a rare bit of green in Venice with a welcoming smell of honeysuckle), it is very close to the station so it is easy to dump your luggage at (after seeing tourists trailing their luggage around the lanes and bridges of Venice, this was an excellent choice). We stayed in a suite, which should by definition be a suite of rooms but was actually one room and a bathroom, although very lovely and opulent, not a suite. The room temperature was too hot for us ( 27 degrees C) and the guests cannot adjust it, which was frustrating. The gardens are lovely especially by the river, we would have liked to use them, there was no where to buy coffee or drinks to enjoy out there.

Beautiful. Location is great, close to the train station and far from the main Saint Marks square, which is a big plus to be away from the huge number of tourists and to enjoy Venice as it should. We will always remember our stay......Beautiful

The staff were very pleasant. The room was immaculate with a lovely bathroom and views of the Grand Canal. There is also a lovely garden which overlooks the Grand Canal, where you can eat your breakfast in the sunshine. We only stayed one night because it was close to the train station and we had arrived from a long journey. Afterwards we moved to another (not as nice) hotel in San Marco. In hindsight we should have just stayed the whole time at the Ca' Nigra Lagoon Resort. The location is perfect because it's right near one of the main Vaporetto stops so you can travel anywhere with ease. Highly recommended.

Our room was a superior suite and was absolutely faultless; we were able to enjoy breakfast and drinks in the garden overlooking the Grand Canal and the staff were, without exception friendly and professional. The hotel is quiet and the location superb.

Location but directions to the hotel was very poor. We arrivwd by train and with luggage. To get to the hotel could have been explained better on the website and by the staff, who were helpful but vague. Tiny room. Called a Junior "suite". More like a cubby hole with a tiny bahrooms. Buy it was quiet and the terrace outside for breakfast was magical.

The room is spacious and well-decorated. It has a light Asian-chic flavour which I think is what would be very appealing to Westerners. The location is great. It's an affordable boutique hotel. The room has a air-conditioning system that doesn't work very effectively. The room is usually a bit too warm and too wet due to system. The hotel staff actually has a control system over all air- conditioning system in every room in the hotel. The switch in individual room means for decoration more than anything.

The first floor room overlooking a quiet canal was spacious and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was basic - lots of bread. Some variety eg fruit should be offered as part of the inclusive deal.

Clean, comfortable, peaceful, luxury! They prepared the slippers.the location is not far from the railway station, but it is not convenient for the guests with big luggages. After you go out of the railway station, crossing the bridge, then go straight about 250meters, turn left, cross a small bridge again, through the church, then turn left. We had two luggages, too heavy and tired crossing the bridge. According to the information, the hotel is hundreds meters away the station, but you have to climb two bridges.

The hotels location was great. It is right next to the train station (opposite side and you must cross the bridge). The room and toilet was clean (we took the room with a Jacuzzi). The décor of the hotel was really nice and they have a nice outdoor breakfast area (which we could not use as it was really hot). The continental breakfast was also fine. Overall it was a good experience. Check in is at 2pm which is rather late.

The hotel borders the canal, with a beautiful garden where you can sit and watch the gondolas. The front entry has a tree swing, and feels very quaint and inviting. The rooms are spacious and the staff is informative and attentive. Wish I'd had another week to stay there! I loved that it was in a quiet area, with easy access to the tourist areas.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast overlooking the canal. The upgraded room we got (206) is superb with excellent canal views. Air conditioning did not function in our original room (it was very hot outside). The hotel is difficult to find. The street address is incorrect on the hotel letterhead.

The location - sitting in the garden right by the Grand Canal for breakfast or for an apperitif before dinner, just watching the world go by! Our room (#13) was right by the breakfast area / main hotel thoroughfare and therefore was noisy, even late at night or in the early morning as staff laid breakfast tables.

Cleaness of the bathroom facilities Attitude of staff not very willing to please customers, poor breakfast (even though the booking.com reservation said 'continental breakfast included), the offered selection was very very poor and anything additional (such as hams and cheese) was at an extra cost. Our room was located on the ground floor right next to the reception, so the ear plugs were provided to block any noises. I didn't use them for the first night, but the noises from the reception was unbearable so used them for the second night.
