The location...unbeatable! The triple room was spacious enough for the three of us, no problem. Bathroom was clean and large. Breakfast was simple but filling.

Well...the first night, no problem. The second night, I woke up with about 6-8 bites on my body. I couldn't find any traces of bed bugs, but I don't know what else it could've been...didn't have time to ask the hotel, but I have seen other reviews mentioning bed bugs at the other hotel, Hotel Rialto.

everything is fine really, just great location, double room was really nice and had a beautiful view the channel. The breakfast was good too.

may be the entrance to the rooms (through the yard) is not that great....

We stayed for 2 night at room 506 and it was 2 rooms decorated in royal style with a canopy over the bed and soft silk walls. There was one Russian channel. The breakfast was in hotel Rialto 4*, it was quite ok with sliced sausages and boiled eggs, all the rest is as usual. The location is perfect.

It is not on the territory of hotel Rialto, but it's cheaper than 4* hotel.

The hotel has cute rooms and is situated right in the city centre, convenient for shopping.

I called the reception to ask for "two pillows please." The man said "Come down. I give you." I asked if he could bring it up to which he said, "No."

Well, nothing can beat the location if you want to be accessible to everything; 2 steps from the Rialto bridge, 2 steps to the vaporetto stop that takes you straight to the train station/car park in only 15-18 minutes and a 10 minute walk to St Marks square. The part of the hotel is up a flight of steps (no elevator) and slightly behind its sister Hotel Rialto (which is where you check in). It is by no means a grand place to stay and there is definitely no view but it is clean and we had a seizable room. For the location and the price I thought is was good value. Don't stay if you expect all the bells and whistles but do stay if you want to be in the heart of beautiful Venezia.

It's a bit shabby and down a tiny alley and up a flight of stairs. But being a hearty traveller these things did not bother me. I would recommend this place to certain people who I knew could appreciate its benefits.

The location was great - water bus stop at the front door and close to the tourist areas. Ca Rialto was accessed by a separate entrance off an alley in the rear of the Rialto hotel. Thus the price was cheaper but the quality of the room was equal to the hotel fronting the grand canal - a good value

Everything was great for a two night stay.

Friendly staff with one exception

Had a guest in the next room banging on their door for someone to let them in at 1.30am in the morning, for about 10 minutes. When we mentioned this to the man on reception the next day, we were told that it was up to us to speak to the other guests, and the hotel basically didnt want anything to do with it.

Fantastic location, we loved the viewing terrace, nice to sit and watch the grand canal

Ca Rialto has absolutely nothing to do with Hotel Rialto (that will be the building located nearby the Rialto bridge, having a view to the channel, etc.) In order to get to CA Rialto, you will have to leave HR's front desk and walk on some secondary (and somehow strange) streets. No view, no hotel aspect, no elevator, no staff. I believe that this building was their storage space and at one moment they decided to give it another purpose. We have paid approx 1000E for 6 nights, but according to their rates and depending on your arrival time you could pay up to 300 E per night. It's true Venice is quite expensive but in any case I believe 300E for CA Rialto is a little bit exagerate. The room was very very small (approx 10-11 sq.m.) with a large bathroom. It's funny how they decorated it (venetian style - large chandeliers, walls with flowery wallpaper, etc) giving a strange look for the smallest room I've seen. If you are checking the presentation pictures, you will find there all the things, but in reality they are smaller than you think and the distances between it is shorter than you may imagine :) The view is towards the neighboring hotel's terrace giving you absolutely no privacy. In the same time, we find it very disturbing the fact that they(their neighbours) are developing some construction works. starting with 8 a.m. every day :) hammers, chainsaws, etc Very "relaxing". The area is one of the crowdest in Venice (excepting maybe San Marco) so I believe it's not an advantage to stay there. Actually I believe any area is acceptable since Venice is (perhaps) one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and it has an unitary and continuous aspect. I strongly believe you may find simillar ofers for a better value.

All the stairs, no elevator! A/c didn't get very cool, can't control it from room, but pretty comfortable

The location of the room was excellent just next to Rialto Bridge facing the Grand Canal. The room was spacious.

The entrance was on a narrow back road and we had to climb a steep staircase of around 34 steps to get to the room. Despite of that the hotel has a porter to carry the luggage for you.

Location was great, 10 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

nice room, venitian style, large for a family of 4. Nice location, , 5m from Rilato bridge and vaporetto stop. Good experience to stay in Venezia.

Very positive assessment from our side. We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and we got a clean small nice room furnished in Venetian style. One big advantage was the window which led directly to the terrace of the hotel, so we could enjoy the view on Rialto bridge by night by simply climbing through the window :). People on the terrace could not see into our room thanks to well arranged flowers around the window. The breakfast was rich and good and people on the reception helpful. It is possible to store your luggage in the hotel if you arrive earlier or on the day of your departure. We heartily recommend this hotel for everybody.
