The staff is gracious and very kind. The room was larger than expected. We could not have picked a better location for our 5 days. The hotel's art is stunning. I would prefer separate shampoo and conditioner. It's a long hair thing. I'm sure they would have supplied it if I had asked. |

The suite we got was amazing, it was a great experience to live in a real museum, bringing you back to the time... tthe restauration of this castle mounted up to 50 million €, so it is an honour to stay here, you can see and feel Venetië from inside. |

friendly staff, very efficient, good location (right next to boat stop off) good choice at breakfast Venice unveiled package included free trahgetto ride.Wasn't any clarity about how this was acheived. I paid for this in the end after confrontation with the boat people.Did not tell hotel about this.(minor issue) |

very friendly and professional staff, clearly very proud of their hotel, easy to get everywhere as at Ca D'Oro station (get off at Ca D'Oro station (4th station on line 1 from Central station), go down alley, turn right twice and you are there, best to get vaporetto (water bus) ticket for length of your stay, allows to go everywhere, including islands, like Murano and is definitely much cheaper than water taxi-)- Great bakery with yummy cookies between station and hotel- Spacious room and comfortable bed, quiet, yet close to Rialto bridge and not too far from St Marco's Square thanks to use of vaporetto- Ok restaurant, but not exceptional for a 5 star- Nice to have drinks on balcony overlooking canal- Expected more antique furniture and more palace-like place- nice staircase, but furniture in rooms are not real antiques and mural in show room very faint, feels like palace has been stripped down, all sold then converted to hotel, a bit disappointing after comment of museum-like hotel- Breakfast had little food choices and bread not of high quality, surprising for a 5 star, but breakfast staff was very attentive and friendly and freshly squeezed orange juice was lovely- More expensive rooms for canal views, would have been nice to have upgrade, considering very early booking- Ok restaurant, but not exceptional for a 5 star- |

Very friendly staff, great location, beautiful building. Breakfast card in the room states that the room service continental breakfast is "included" however it is not. Cost E44 for a croisant, orange juice and all bran. |

center of a beautifull city with good boottaxi service in front of the loby, the breakfastroom was as if you stayed in a castle with your own staff. We did not have a room with a view on the canal, wish we would have known. |

Hotel is of a very good quality, orignally being one of Venice's leading Palazzos. Location is also excellent being about 5mins walk to Rialto bridge and another 5mins to St Marks square. Many paintings and works or art still adorn the rooms. Breakfast on level 2 was excellent. Room selection had a limited menu, being identical to the restaurant menu. Would suggest that they expand menu to cater for more simple meals that are more suitable for teenage children. |

Gorgeous, elegant hotel that made you feel like you were royalty staying at your palazzo rather than a hotel. The rooms are spacious, luxurious, and immaculate. Great, low key location close to everything. |
