Too small, bathroom could not even turn around in. could not close bath door, shower door and could not sit on toilet properly. The worst was we paid bt credit card for reservations and they would only take cash when we left, leaving us cash strapped (they lied about this issue) Never stay here again!!!!!!!!
Terrible customer service, creepy people that stay there, my girl was gropped and there no one to call or for a female to for help! She asked in the morning for a cup of tea because the owner was making one and got told no. No wifi in rooms
Really good location. Close to the Galleria dell'Academia, as well as the Peggy Guggenheim. Breakfast will fill you up and keep you going till lunch. Breakfast to expect: Croissants, some bread rolls and some coffee with orange juice.
The bathroom was ridiculously small. I know to expect small rooms in Venice, but I really expected a reasonably sized bathroom for the amount of money we payed to stay there. It was small to the point where I dreaded having to shower. Perhaps other rooms are better, but I suggest that when you book, you email the owners and specifically ask if you are getting Room # 2. Avoid that one at all costs! Also, it was on the ground floor with windows opening up to the alley, and so the room felt claustrophobic. It really is a pity that we got that room, as Venice was the last part of our Italy trip, and I was really looking forward to a comfortable stay over our last few days.
I appreciate that the hotel is in a very quiet and very nice neighborhood. Fantastic for small romantic trip and close to San Marco square and others places. I recommend this hotel.
Room was small Short time for breakfast and check out to early.
Our stay at Ca' San Vio was great. The location was just perfect for us - we didn't want to stay in the hectic tourist spots around Rialto and St Mark's Square. Instead, the hotel is in a lovely, quiet spot close to the Accademia Vaporetto stop and nearby some excellent food spots (without the prices around the main tourist spots too). The room was clean and functional, with lovely windows opening to the street below. Marco was helpful and friendly.
We did book a triple room which wasn't exactly as depicted on the website from what I recall (we had a king bed and a fold out rather than three singles) however we made do with the configuration.
GREAT location of the hotel : peaceful and quiet neighbourhood, close to many attractions. Good breakfast and good clealiness of the room. Friendly host Marco. Good soundproofing also, even though the room was at the first level next to the entrance door.
Leaking and very small shower. Towels replaced only once in a week. Sheets never replaced. Very humid room, worsened with the leaking shower. Hard mattress and pillows.
I liked the location a lot. the hotel was down a quiet street. It was very quaint.
There were three people in our party and I booked a room for three. What I got was a room for two with a cot squeezed in. I was not happy about that!
We really enjoyed our time in Ca' San Vio! Perfect location (15 min walking or one boat stop from San Marco square), clean rooms, familiar athmosphere (very friendly and helpful couple manages the hotel). Best of all: Very nice breakfast including a great Cappuccino brought to your room every morning. I will come again :)
Marco is the best)) I was realy happy to meet him and to live in this nice hotel. No Russians!
price breakfast was a bit disappointing.
I really likes the location and the ease of staying there.
I like it all. Though it is helpful to note that we had our own private bathroom but it was across the hall. Others might not like this but I was okay with it because of the great value and great location. Breakfast is mainly bread in different forms.
The familiarity of the place, the personal service, the trust in the guests regarding keys, the fact that is is not a normal hotel but like a private house, the city quarter with it's non-touristic neighbourhood, the quality of the restaurants and bars close-by.
The price could be a bit less, around 100,- Euro
Very conveniently located in Venice. The staff was very nice and the room was quite comfortable. Good value for the money and centrally located.
Very quiet place with AC. Location is very convinient and the staff gave us very good directions to reach the place. Breakfast in the room is nice. Staff is friendly and let us leave our luggage until we left.
