Nice palace, typical veneziana architecture, however the space seems to be over utilized. Simple breakfast, no dilemma in choosing. :) good position, five minutes walking to boat stop cà d'oro, where you could take the water bus to san marco and somewhere else. Kind persionnels, warm greetings. I feel disappointed by "the economy room" for couple offered by this 4 stars hotel. It was on the "piano terra", slight sinking underground, it's right beside to the hall where the breakfast is offered, so it could be a bit noisy in early morning, or in late night if someone stay in the hall talking. The room was very limited, the bed for double was 1.5 of standard single bed. It should be around 10 m2 without counting the bathroom which is half of the main room. Two people staying in the room can clearly feel difficulty in breathing. Judging from the layout of the ground floor, there should be four room in this type. However, I could doubt whether it is legal or not to utilize a room under such a condition for commercial use. Furthermore, with the same costs, it's for sure that you could find a better staying in a 3 stars hotel. Hope my experience could help you to avoid an imperfect holiday in Venice.

Good location, excellent service, stuff is friendly Bathroom could have been bigger; bit pricey (like everything in Venice). They charge Eur 35/night for a child if (s)he doesn't sleep not in the same bed with parents, even if a different bed (sofa) the child sleeps in is already in the room -- might be useful to be aware of this.

The breakfast staff was friendly and hard working - Breakfast is good too. Bathroom was a good size although we had a small room. The room window opened to the outside and this allowed us to get some fresh air. The hotel vibe overall. 1)The safe had a key and was not electronically coded - thus still unsafe to store valuables. Also was too small to even fit an iPad. 2)No lifts - need to use long set of stairs 3)No internet in rooms.

This small boutique hotel is in a beautiful old palazzo, within easy walking distance of Piazza San Marco, restaurants and shopping. Our suite was luxurious, extremely comfortable and clean. The hotel features a very nice breakfast. The staff, very courteous, professional and knowledgeable, makes the guests feel very special. Fast and free WiFi internet access everywhere in the hotel is a great plus. The only drawback is that there is no elevator but this deficiency can be overlooked unless one has difficulty climbing stairs.

We were travelling around Italy and Venice was our first destination. Very beautiful building overlooking the water and in a beautiful district. My husband is on a wheelchair and the room was perfectly equipped for him. Very friendly staff. The only inconvenience was that we had to cross 3 bridges on our way from vaporetto stop - it was difficult with a wheelchair. No Wi-fi in the hotel.

I liked the room which is a suite but it is one large room. I have 2 kids and I was charged for one, I thought kids are free. My fault. Checking out as My booking says is at up to 14:00 but I had to argue about that. Arguing about the check out and I was charged for my daughter. The hotel has no elevator. The ac was ok but we were lucky cuz it was not so hot during my stay..

The hotel is very beautiful. Lovely furnishings. Our room was really large and had a separate sitting area with a couch and desk. Very nice bathroom and toiletries provided. Wonderful breakfast with excellent selection and good good coffee. The staff was so nice. We were there for 'aqua alta' and the water was covering the sidewalks, the reception provided such innovative 'boots'. They went over your normal shoes and up to your knees. They were very comfortable and kept our feet dry....also made quite a fashion statement!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but small. Hotel was close to vaporetto station, but required crossing of 3 bridges. Breakfast was good. Some decent restaurants are close by, of course everything is more expensive in Venice. Room was on mainfloor towards the back of the building, which turned out to be 1m below grade and felt a bit like a dungeon. Sound insulation of rooms was non excisting. A bit of a let down for a 4 star hotel

Very fancy hotel, the staff was very accomdating and all spoke English. The breakfast was good, included hot foods such as eggs and bacon, as well as pastries. Also complimentary coffees, cappacinos, etc. The room was beautiful, we stayed in a junior suite, and the walls were painted with murals and everything was tasteful. A little pricey, but it is close to the train station. I also did not know that I was be charged right away, usually on booking.com, they use my credit card to hold the reservation, but I might have mis read something.

Excellent location close to shopping and water buses. This is not the hotels problem. They booked a water taxi for us for our early morning departure. We were charged 80 euro for the equivalent of a 15 to 20 minute walk. I wish I had taken down his numberand we were told Venice does not have pickpocketers I beg to differ.

We chose the economic room, and it was indeed quite economical for Venice! It was not a 4-star-hotel room, but it was cosy and clean. On the other hand, the breakfast was clearly of a 4-star small hotel. It didn't had much quantity, but the variety and the attention of the service was very good. Midway between Santa Luzia station and the Rialto bridge, its localization is also very convenient. Finally, the surrounding area, though not rich in touristic attraction (apart from Ca d'Oro), has supermakets near, besides many shops, restaurants and "gelaterias". The tv set didn't always work properly, but that didn't worry us. Italian channels always worked just fine.

Our stay at the hotel was truly relaxing. The room was everything we could have hoped for for a trip to central venice. The welcome was excellent and the staff all gave us many worthwhile tips. There are very good eateries off the main street near the hotel. As usual the art and culture in Venice was a dream come true. We will stay at this hotel again. The staff, the area, the quality of accommodation. So glad that the building retains the wonderful entrance and facade.

“This was an excellent choice of hotel in Venice - so central for everything and the staff were both efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. We were a mixed group of ages from 30 years upwards, and it ticked all the boxes. Would highly recommend it. Breakfast was also excellent. It is also a very short walk from Vaporetta Ca d'Oro when you are walking with suitcases but its also close to Rialto when you want to have lots of activity.” Moira, Alora Malaga |
