Grimaldi Apartments  

The location of the apartment was great. It was a great size for families.

The apartment had a musty smell.

Location was great. Ana was extremely helpful; helped us arrange transportation to and from the apartment and Very informative. I did not give an excellent rating because I tried reaching one of the other staff for 2 days (on Anna's day off) and received no response. Ana recommended a few restaurants; one of them was around the corner, Trattoria Casa Mia - LOVED it... went there 3 out of the four nights for dinner.

The apartment was clean and had basic amenities. Second and third room beds were hard, not very comfy.

Great quiet location - awesome value. Great staff at Grimaldi!!!

Need to provide 3 prong plugs and more dependable wifi.

The shower's hot water never flowed properly. Boiling hot or freezing cold. This was the only negative in a fun weekend.

We liked being in the midst of a local setting, not in the commercial setting of a hotel. The local no-noise rules kept it quiet throughout the night. I really saw Venice closu-up.

I couldn't stay longer.

During our 3weeks in italy,this is the apartment worse services we've come across.the staff by name[YACOB] never bother about the older peoples walking behind him,he just kept walking very fast,until two of them fell down and lost her way.During check in he never explain how to use the appliance in the apartment.First thing is to ask you to sign the credit card bill,i tell him that I want to pay EURO,but he say already charge to my credit card.not going to recommend this apartment to other people.NOT Worth STAYING.so expensive.with my grandparent time old T.v only 14",no picture can happen anytime.only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 lady to use for 4 days n 3 nights.he never return or answer your call and don't know where his office.

I liked the fact that we were met by the staff member. He explained us how to get around and gave us map with nearest attrasctions etc. the apartment was clean with all needed equipments we even found some coffee and some past left. The place is located very central and can work everywhere.

I liked everything maybe one thing that you can here neighbours but they are quite quiet so the noise is not that bad :).

The space in the apartment was good. The location in Venice was convenient for walking and getting the train. Local shops for food were nearby.

It could have done with a kitchen knife for cutting/chopping and possible a set of small plates.

The apartment was nice and comfortable, with spacious bathroom, but most of all we like soft beds and comfy blankets. Location was very convenient - close to Rialto Bridge and supermarkets.

Tv was only in Italian (or we were not patient enough to flip through so many channels...)

We stayed in the Casanova apartment. It was great to stay in a self contained apartment and have the opportunity to experience living in the middle of it all. The facilities allowed you to cater for yourself with a supermarket 10min walk. A staff member met us at the closest ferry stop and showed us to the apartment. We were able to walk to all the sights. Bed was comfortable and the position of the apartment allows you to have a good night sleep with minimal noise. We really loved our stay.

There was a bit of a smell through the bathroom but by leaving the toilet lid down and door closed, this was minimalised.

Good modern facilities. Good location. Very helpful member of staff met us on arrival.

We were advised to be mindful of noise to be respectful of the other people living in the building but the people above us were very noisy so it didnt seem to work both ways!

We stayed at the Olga. It was close to the Alilaguna Lina which was perfect for the airport. Also an easy trip to beautiful Burano. One of the staff met us at the stop & took us to the flat. The bedroom is large, the sofa bed was comfortable. They gave us a portable Wifi for free, which saved us with our teenage daughter. The apartment is very basic, no lift, faces a very narrow street, but good for the price. Everything we needed. Quiet location away from the masses. Got lost coming back the first night but a friendly Venetian helped us get back.

Some dampness and ceiling pieces falling down in the bedroom corner.

great location and excellent service, close to the supermarket with great prices, very roomy , has everything travelers need. Free Wi-Fi was a big plus. Thank you Ana for the great introduction to Venice

The staff member was very kind, friendly, helpful and efficient; rooms clean, tidy and well-equipped; good location; quiet neighbourhood; within easy walking distance to the main attractions.

Location was fantastic! Apartment was clean and comfortable. Grimaldi staff (Yacub) met us at the vaporetti stop and took care of our needs. Would definitely stay at Grimaldi Apts. Again when visiting Venice and have already recommended it to friends.

The apartment was newly refurbished and tastefully furnished, it had all to make us feel at home. We were welcomed by Joey, the Gimaldi's agent, who introduced us to Ca d'Oro area, gave lots of good tips, was very helpful throughout our stay and always reachable on the phone. Big "Thank You" to Joey for his friendly and professional attitude!

The walk to Piazza S.Marco from our apartment took us at least 30 mins each time. We were hoping for a closer location. Anything else was perfect

Grimaldi Ap was an excellent choice for our city break, very close to the vaporetto station and San Marco was only 10 min of walking. The personnel at Grimaldi Ap was very nice and very helpful within all aspects of our stay in Venice. We were very happy about our decision to stay at Grimaldi.

The location was perfect. The apartment was confortable. The staff was really helpfull.

I know that everything is expensive in Venice, so the apartment was expensive as well.

Rezervatıon office was very goog. They were in contact with us.they took us from the boat stop and they were very helpfull. The house was cleaned well and every thing worked well. The house vas a good one.we are thankfull.

Excellent communication with staff, easy transaction, great apartment with everything you could possibly need in an excellent location.

Could have done with one more pillow each on the bed.

When Anna met us at the vaporetto stop and provided us with fantastic service. Anna assisted us with our bags which was a great help when you have 6 suitcases and 3 children. She then showed us the way to the hotel and once settled in she then walked myself to the nearest grocery store, making sure to point out landmarks so I didn't get lost on the wayback. Also provided directions to St Marks square and other attractions. Fantastic unit for a family in a great spot, close to Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square.

Super location, well appointed and great value for money.
