Great setting, charming hotel, great breakfast and friendly staff

Its a bit further from Capri, not on walking distance, so you have to take taxis.

- the view from the hotel is stunning -pool is gorgeous and pool stuff is very helpful

- transfer to town costs 25 eur with taxi. When we checked in we were promised we get the free transfer to town, which was never done( - mini bar was never replaced for 3 days after I asked many times to do so, only after a scandal with the manager it was done - restaurant in hotel in 3-5 times overpriced for portions and food they were giving comparing to the rests nearby

The view from the sea facing rooms is gorgeous, can not be compared with anything. Luxurious atmosphere without excessive kitsch. Calm, comfort and romance - this is what is in the air. The food in the restaurant is quite expensive, but well worth a visit, unforgettable candlelit dinner overlooking the night sea. Breakfast on the terrace - that is something I will never forget all my life. The hotel is almost the higher point on the island. Close, walking distance, to Anacapri historical centre, small restaurants and shops with local atmosphere everywhere. When we had a look at the other hotels we were sure that Caesar Augustus was the best choice.

It has one of the most spectacular views of the bay of Naples from 1000 feet above the water on the cliffs.

Everything was amazing we were on our honeymoon and your hotel was the best place we went on this trip U have the best soap and product Your room service was little slow And conseriqe was not very helpful we found a very good places and resturant he didnt told us about it

For next time i will reserve the suite with the marina view

The location of this hotel is second to none! It sits atop a cliff overlooking Capri. The wet edge pool with magnificent view over the sea is nothing short of spectacular as is the view from restaurants and terrace. Ana Capri is certainly the sophisticated and stylish side of Capri with some beautiful shops and restaurants. Extra touches such as boxes provided to place your handbag on the floor at breakfast were well received. Expensive - yes, but, worth it for a few days of luxury if you can afford it!

They still have those dreadful hairdryers attached to the wall in the bathroom!

I love the pool! It is located at the edge of the hill! So relaxing. Food in the restaurant is authentic and tastes marvellous! I have had the best pasta dish there and fish dish too!! However, the internet connection is poor!

The internet connection needs to be fixed, it is so slow!

Location is extraodinary, beautiful panoramic view everywhere. Everyone working in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is one of the best in Capri (or maybe the best). We had a very very romantic holiday here with my wife. Can recommend it to anyone.

Exceptional sightseeing, in front of Napoli bay. When your are near the swimming pool, the only thing you want to do is to see such a beautiful view and trying to put it in your mind. People are wonderful and you feel at home.

Hotel restaurant is too expensive regarding the meal. Service is wonderful but for more than 100 € per person, we were expected higher quality, creativity and origanility. Definitly, restaurant is too expensive and you will find in Capri cheaper restaurant with a far more better diner.

The location is amazing. The relaxed ambience of the hotel is outstanding.the infinity pool is really lovely.the terraces and old style of the architecture are just gorgeous.

The restaurant( bar one table) is enclosed. The food is very ordinary and very very poor value. The waiters are over attentive asking if you are enjoying the ordinary food every few minutes.. There are much better local restaurants.the room service menu is poor and the service appalling. We waited an hour for half of our order to arrive and what was served was of a standard that would be unacceptable in a transport cafe ( undercooked soggy chips, a soggy club sandwich and a very poor salad of lettuce carrot and tomato with no dressing).The staff at reception are very charming and friendly but very poor at providing useful information (we were advised to postpone a much looked forward to self drive boat trip until the next day only to find all taxis and the whole port on strike that day which the staff knew might happen 2 days before but did not see fit to mention!).we left the hotel at 10 pm on the Saturday night to find a local restaurant rather than eat the disgusting room service meal and were charged 14 euro for a 3 minute taxi ride with no offer of reimbursement by the hotel! Long on charm ambience scenery, poor on service delivery. If that was improved this would be a truly outstanding hotel but sadly it falls well short.very proud of their Conde Nast rating as number 1 in Europe but clearly too complacent.

la vue a couper le souffle , terrasse extraordinaire , accueil et disponibilité sans faille , petit déjeuner vraiment excellent .

restaurant un peu prétentieux ( surtout en prix ) et somme toute en retrait ( en choix , originalité et qualité ) par rapport au standing

Un endroit de rêve ! Le Caesar Angustus est une référence à Capri et on comprend pourquoi... L'emplacement est juste incroyable, avec une vue sur toute la baie de Naples et la ville de Capri. Le panorama depuis la piscine est un vrai spectacle, quelle que soit l'heure de la journée et la météo. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné, avec un service à la hauteur d'un Relais et Châteaux ! Une mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner, un des meilleurs que nous ayons eus dans un hôtel, avec une gamme incroyable de produits gastronomiques uniquement issus de la région ! Un régal !
