La posizione dell'Hotel è perfetta per visitare venezia

L'Hotel non aveva reception e numeri.Era tutto in un altra struttura a 30 mt. Da noi sito in Locanda Malipiero

bagno nuovo e pulito, quadrupla composta da 2 camere adiacenti.

le indicazioni per la location sono molto scarse e non è facile da trovare.

la stanza era ampia e accogliente, lo stesso per il bagno

il caffè, era pessimo

Posizione ottima per visitare Venezia; personale disponibile e buona pulizia. Colazone all'altezza.

La locanda é parte di una serie di relais tutti molto vicini e comodi sia a S.Marco che a Rialto. Lo staff fà il possibile per accontentare i clienti. La seconda stanza che ci hanno assegnato, dopo ns richiesta di cambiare, era spaziosa e ben arredata, peccato per la troppa muffa dietro la tenda!!!

La prima camera: senza termosifone e con una pompa di calore che non faceva caldo. Ci hanno aggiunto un radiatore elettrico. Lo scarico del bagno ogni 6 minuti emetteva un fastidiosissimo "rantolo" e ogni 2 minuti si ricaricava di acqua causa scarico difettoso.

Hotel in un palazzo del XVsec a 10 min a piedi da Piazza San Marco.Avevamo una stanza molto spaziosa con affresco sul soffitto . e arredata molto bene con bagno piccolo ma pulito.Staff gentilissimo. Lo consigliamo assolutamente

é un po' difficile da trovare, abbiamo chiesto informazioni ma anche I Veneziani sembrano avere idee confuse sulla posizione dell'hotel. Essendo in un palazzo antico non è dotato di ascensore, ma un facchino ci ha portato le valigie in camera al 3° piano, risparmiandoci enormi fatiche. Lo sconsiglierei a persone anziane o con problemi a salire 3 rampe di scale.

4 floor walk-up, difficult to find

All I can say is this is really a place where you got what you paid for, which isn't much other than a bed and a bathroom. Very small shower bathroom I might add. There was a free breakfast which was it's only saving grace.

My least favorite part about this place was.... Where do I start? 1) there were no lift. So be prepared to lug your own luggage up the three or four flights of stairs! 2) staff was not available 24/7. He actually manages another property a few doors down. Not informative about activities or places to eat. 3) did I already mention bad customer service? When we checked out the lady that was there serving breakfast hounded us for the city tax even before we were ready to check out. I mean as soon as we stood up from breakfast we were asked for $. We didn't have change and was given the stare down. It just left a bad taste in my mouth.

the location was INCREDIBLE - for the amount we paid, we were right near St. Mark's square, had gondolas serenading us outside the window of our room; the breakfast was delicious.

Location was great! The room was very nice and the price wasn't bad at all. Walking distance from San Marco'S.

Stairs, no elevator. Breakfast was expensive and not the best. I would have definitely rather eaten at a cafe instead.

Staff allowed us to leave luggage with them after we checked out, whilst waiting for a train, the included breakfast was good.

Only few staff spoke reasonable English. We booked into Locanda Ca' Formosa however we were actually put into their other place who's name we can't remember :S this room was just big enough for the bed, never mind 2 people and luggage. Flatscreen tv's & internet as per the advertisement? Didn't even get heating or hot water until we complained. The bathroom roof was not even 5ft 5 high, we both had to crouch to get in and showering was near impossible, I'm 6ft 3! Wouldn't bother with them again.

It was very nice and in a good location between S. marco and rialto. Breakfast was excellent. The room receptionist gave us is luxury!, So we were happy and have no complaints.

The room was cold, and air condition didn't heat

When we finally got to stay at the hotel....see next question we were given a lovely room and a good breakfast.

When we arrived at the Hotel we found no one there but a note hanging on the door telling us to go to another property around the corner. It turns out there was no room available for us but they had arranged a one night stay at another Hotel Rio...a supposedly 'superior' room which was definitely not a superior room. However the next day we were given a very nice room with a private bath ...better than the one we originally booked. There is no elevator and a long difficult walk up to the floor where the room and the breakfast was served. There were no screens on the windows and as it was hot we got mosquito bites. The manager seemed apologetic for the inconvenience caused as we wasted part of our stay moving about.

We travel a lot in many countries for many years and this is one of the worst place. First, because of an unacceptable attitude of the receptionist. He requested prepayment at our arrival, which is still acceptable, however, their credit card machine was broken and did not work with my cards. Then he ordered me to go to bank to get cash immediately with very arrogant manner, which almost insulted me. My card works with atm of outside bank. But he could not believe it and still insisting their machine was ok. Terrible start of stay in this way. The room is too tiny even for 2 persons, and the bath is a kind of toy. For which, we paid a fortune of money. Never recommended. Venezia is great place, but unfortunattely some people just rely on this and don't work properly.

Great location: close to Rialto and Piazza San Marco. Also it is not difficult to get it. Room was very big, bright and clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast is quite simple but sufficient

In our room in WC pipes sometimes were leaking. Furniture is old, rooms are in need of renovation

Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable.

However, hotel is not of the same name as mentioned in the booking.com. Because of this and lack of proper direction to the hotel, it took nearly 90 minutes for us to locate the hotel. Entrance is at backdoor with no signs. This needs to be seriously improved and information with the access map need to be properly provided on the website.

Enjoyed the lovely view over Santa Maria Formosa from our room. Great location about half way between St Marks and the Rialto Bridge in a quiet part of the Castello area. Good breakfast. Overall a great choice for those like us that wanted to experience the grandness of a beautiful 15th century Venetian hotel without spending a fortune. Excellent value for money for the location.

Directions are not easy to follow. We walked far and wide to find this hotel. I suggest someone from the hotel should greet guests at St Marks.
