Central location close to aquarium, restaurants and parking.
Elevator is a bit of a challenge.
Reception staff were always available and helpful. The hotel is signed from outside although is on the 3rd floor. It is possible to offload your gear while parked outside in the lane before heading for a paid parking building. There is a terrace available for all guests to use. Our room was big enough however leg room to use the loo was not. On site breakfast was okay. We were surprised to find few options in Genova for dinner. Spacious indoor shared areas. There is a small lift which we found hilarious to use.
Nothing to do with the hotel - The cost to park our car was either 18 euro for 24 hours at Minerva which is the closer one and the one we chose. Other was 15 euro. No responsibility taken and all cars are parked like sardines in a tin by staff. Our car gained two scratches. I don't know how to avoid this type of parking in Genova.
Location is great, the rest is ok, but it's a great value for money.
The location of this hotel ws excellent. It was definitely great value with breakfast being included in the price. The room was comfortable and the bed was too. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Genoa is a great city and this hotel was ideally situated to explore the inner city and waterfront areas.
Good location Friendly staff Good breakfast (included, contrary to what is written on Booking.com)
staff was polite and welcoming. central location
we asked a non-smoking room but the furniture in our room were all smelling of smoke. breakfast was extremely poor.
Interesting disigne! Good wifi. Amazing personal. Helpfull and realy glad to help.
Hotel dont have parking. And breakfest was avarege.
Air con was great to have
The location is great for walking about the main tourist sites of central Genoa, but the hotel and its lobby is three flights up and the rooms are only alright.
The street, via Cairoli, has a no entry sign so we were leery of entering the street and unloading luggage. The desk clerk said it was no problem and we should just supply him with our license plate number. It worked out fine but we initially did not know what to do.
The hotel's central location in Genoa was its biggest benefit. Walking distance from the main train station, and very accessible to all that the old city of Genoa has to offer. Plenty of food options close by, as well as the funicular to the surrounding areas. The quirky retro feel of the hotel with original art was a pleasant surprise. It was extremely clean and all staff/owners very polite and helpful.
The location on the third floor may be off-putting altho there is a small lift to overcome this. Perhaps the external look of the building facing the street was a little drab.
Nice design and good location.
No elevator in the hotel - not OK with heavy luggage as most of the rooms are on the second hotel floor. The reception is not really 24/7 - you need to request a key if you come back after 1a.m.
room, breakfast room, lobby and location of the hotel are all perfect. Good coffee - Lavazza were served with croissant and cereal.
Shower space is a bit small. Staff is not quite nice, he's look unfriendly. If he can change a bit, everything here should be perfect.
Great location, friendly staff, best cornette in all Italy
The hotel was very close to the city center, about 5 to 10 minutes walk. It had a creative design and the interior was colorful and friendly
Location was good. We had a fairly large room. Very clean. Typical 3 star hotel. Had a lot of facilities we didn't make use of such as gym and reading rooms etc, only stayed one night in transit. They give you a complimentary croissant and coffee even though if you book on Bookings.com it states there is no breakfast.
Must say the carpet made it feel pretty cheap, change that and it would really feel like a much better hotel, however having said that the quality of the carpet is not the reason you stay in a hotel! But you did ask what I didn't like
The location, the staff, and the unique room designs
Hotel ambience. Very helpful staff.
Hotel was difficult to find by car.
Being on the 3rd floor and having an old and small lift, makes things difficult for those who have heavy bags.
Situation, its quirkiness, staff helpfulness
Nothing, was all good
