Excellent view, very friendly staff, difficult to reach the location without GPS and if you are not a very good driver.Bottom line: worth all the money
The views from the double room, delux, with sea views.
Did not like how bright it was at dinner. The lights need to be dimmed, for night dining, so u can see t fab. views.
We spent 3 nights in September at the Cala Moresca Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers nice, clean and comfortable rooms (ours had a nice small terrace overlooking the town and the sea - really great views), free parking and free fast Wi-Fi. Still I think the rooms could be refreshed and some minor glitches fixed. There is a nice pool also free of charge for the hotel guests. The breakfasts are ok - not only fruits, yogurts and cakes, but ham/cheese/eggs etc. as well. The staff is very polite and helpful. I believe the price/quality ratio is ok but if you do not have a car, then your choices are a bit limited - the hotel is located on a mountain, I believe it's too far to walk down to the nearest beach. You can ask the staff to drive you there (and back at the end of the day) for a few euros. If you arrive by car, beware of the narrow road surrounded by rocky walls (it's definitely easier if you have a smaller car). The food served in the hotel restaurant was really good, although the menu seems to be a bit limited. The dinner on the terrace offers spectacular views over the sea and the town of Bacoli.
If you are looking for a quiet and tranquil place, you may want to reconsider... The Cala Moresca Hotel seems to be an extremely popular place for weddings and other family events and practically every nights there is a party with some loud music till 1-2am. I cannot say we had a good night sleep, unfortunately! Also, the parties often start early in the afternoon and if you want to go to the pool you will have to walk through some very dressed up people attending the event, while you will be in you beach attire and flip-flops. Last but not least, we were not amazed by the beaches in Bacoli - they were overcrowded, the sand was greyish sand and beach services not really outstanding (before coming to Bacoli we spent 4 days in Gaeta and the contrast between the beaches there and in Bacoli was significant).
Great location Some good decor
Dreadful breakfast Poorly trained staff who seemed not to care Some lovely areas but others very run down. Definitely not four star
Great location and view. Special beach on the rocks. Excellent fresh seafood
I must first say that I had no real expectations before I arrived at this fabulous gem on the mountain. I was in Monte Di Procida to visit friends that live there. What an amazing facility! The staff made me feel as if I were home. The owners are on site almost daily. The manager Salvatore was over and above accommodating. They helped me organize an amazing lunch for 30 of us friends and family. The executive Chef Enzo actually took the time to take me in the kitchen for 30 mins to show and explain to me what he would be preparing that day. Not to mention I found out that he is one of the most recognized chefs in the region. The room was immaculate with an awesome 180 degree view. The housekeeping was perfect and the staff worked around sleeping schedules so as not to disturb me after a late night. I just cannot say enough great things about this Hotel. I travel extensively and stay in 5 Star locations by default. This is hotel no different. The best of Italia. BRAVO! Michael D. New Jersey
The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Breakfast was good and varied for Italy. The private beach was great - quite a hike down (and back up) but worth it. The pool was well maintained and the AC was the best I've ever seen - welcome in the Napoli heat. The view was amazing and the décor is beautiful and just makes you want to relax. Thank you, we would definitely go back there and recommend it highly
Beach traffic can be crazy - but worth it when you arrive.
the view from the hotel is superb
the hotel operates some form of local childrens club which can lead to unacceptable noise levels and difficulty in using the pool at certain times . also the access road to the hotel is very steep and narrow
