Small but friendly hotel. Rooms clean and well presented though not luxurious. Breakfast continental style. No lounge area so not so good for an extended trip. Great for short break, as located close to shops, restaurants, bus station, train station, vaperetto, and cruise terminal.

Location excellent. It was not a superior double, the room was very small, we could hardly move, breakfast very small also, a lack of hangers and six flights of stairs to climb with suitcases, very hard to climb with none, we used to dread going back and will never return unless a lift is installed and a larger room given. It was more like a single.

Clean and comfortable room with enough space fora short city break. Very short distance from train, bus and vaporeto stations. A simple yet complete and nice breakfast in a small but cosy backyard. It is not a fancy hotel but it has all the commodities needed for a city trip. It is distant from the city center. In the small and packed alleys of Venice count with about 30minutes to Rialto and 45 to 50 minutes to San Marcos square.

We stayed only for one night, and everything that we read about the hotel before actually staying there was truth. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk distance from the bus station, what is important when dealing with suitcases. Also, it is not long but nice walk in the streets full of shops and restaurants from the hotel towards Ponte Rialto and Piaca S. Marco. The hotel itself is in the quiet street, the old building is very well restored to keep the stile, but to make greater pleasure with new furnished rooms and bathrooms. It was possible to have a breakfast in a charming giardino of the hotel. The stuff parla inglese, and also is patient with the foreigners that try to speak italiano...! I reccomend the hotel gladly!

Good location. Spacious enough to fit you, without too much hassle. No reception desk after evening. On holiday, the reception counter closes at 15:00, so no luggage room access after that hour (a problem if you want to enjoy the city more). Also, the double bed is actually two beds put together. Nothing Superior at the room either.

Only about 10 minutes walk from the railway station. In next block. We had a Hertz hired car and from them (close to the bus terminus) had to go across the bridge with all our luggage. Venice is busy making the city more accessible and hope the bridge will have a ramp next time, to make it easier for luggage with wheels! Those steps where a real killer. Good location, with easy shopping and plenty restaurants all round. Close to water taxi/bus, making the entire city very accessible. The owner phoned us to find out when we will arrive. Due to a train strike we were already on our way in a hired car and planned on booking in a night earlier. We told the owner, but the language problem popped up, resulting in us arriving at the hotel with nobody home. We thought he understood that we will be there at 19h00. We waited for almost an hour, tried to phone the hotel (no answer) and then we booked in across the road. Got a suite there for 5 Euro less, including breakfast. A real bargain! Breakfast was included and was good, but the coffee terrible. I cannot understand why you have to pay at some hotels for wi-fi access. As a guest house owner myself it does not make sense as you actually make very little on that and is more of a pain than making money... No lift. Generally a good stay for holiday makers and will recommend them.

Easy to find the hotel at first time. It is located near Train station (about 5 mins walk) and vaporetti station. You can find convenience from staying here. I would not say I'll recommend this hotel but I would not also not say that you should cut this hotel out of your consideration. The hotel staff is not that nice compare to other hotels I've visited, but it's alright if you don't mind.

Very easy access from Santa Lucia Railway Station only 100m. breakfast was good. The rooms are big and clean. Seabus station is almost at the hotel which is very good. Because you can go easyly by seabus wherever you want. No elevator; if you have a big luggage then you have a problem. The front office staff on 10th November evening was down faced.

Location very easy to find according to the description. Room was reasonable clean. Simple breakfast but serve quite late (starts 8am). If you want to catch day tour in the morning then you have to miss the breakfast. No free wifi. The reception only available until 9pm. After that you have to open and lock the door by yourself. The key is heavy with steel block. No concierge to keep your luggage if you check out early. We have to keep it in train station which charged 5 Euro per piece luggage and per 5 hours only.

Nice hotel, clean comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, close to train station, vaporetto stop and Piazzale Roma, good breakfast. I'd stay here again. Admittedly there are more luxurious digs in Venice, but Ca' Lucrezia is really good value for the price in a very convenient location.

Staff are friendly, hotel is in a quiet location and only a short walk from the railway station. The shower in our room was tiny, the wash basin had no plug and there wasn't a spare plug the right size. There is no iron for guests to use. It was unusually hot during our stay but the air-conditioning wasn't working. Breakfast was basic, no fruit on offer. There's no lift so you have to lug your bags up the stairs.

Convenient. Chinese restaurant just next door. Bed is ok. Shower space is impossible for a tall guy. No shelves every thing put on the floor n I can't even bend down! That's not acceptable. Worst coffee ever! Margarine croissant made it worse. Cold bread.
