Hotel Calypso  

Location - near to ruins of Pompeii Friendliness of staff Free WiFi

The owners/staff were very nice and helpful. It was a small, homey kind of hotel and it had on site parking and it felt safe. It was fairly well located to the ruins, about a 10 min walk to the North entrance, 20 mins to the South main entrance. The breakfast was very nice and is in a funky little downstairs room which is kind of like a little museum of collectibles and interesting knickknacks.

The room is spartan, the AC is weak to nonexistent (what is it about Italian AC they just can't cool a room down), the towels are thin little rags, and the room has no view. But, it's a typical Italian budget hotel so we should be used to that. The shower stall was smaller than usual though, very tight. It was also located a little further than I expected. But, in short, it was cheap, clean, and safe.

The hotel staff was very friendly! We got all the information we needed to travel to the area (Vezuf, Naples, ..) in the hotel.

Good location, not far from the ruins (not the main gate though so lacking in maps & info) & main town. Easy to find & parking a plus

Very noisy on the first night (Fri) - a disco across the road!!

The location was central to Pompei town near to the ruins and the train stations to access other areas of Italy.The room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was basic even for Italy standards

La camera era piccolina ma per l'aggiunta di un terzo letto (non richiesto). Il bagno micro.

A simpatia dos funcionários, todos muito atenciosos. Na zona onde se encontra o hotel, é uma mais valia ter parque privativo gratuito.

Pequeno almoço era apenas um croissant e café com leite. O wc no quarto podia ser maior mas ainda assim era aceitável.

Solo un leggero odore di fognatura nei servizi igienici, che purtroppo si avvertiva anche in camera aprendo la porta dei servizi. Sarebbe opportuno un controllo dei sistemi fognari

Accueil formidable, presence permanente du personnel toujours a l'ecoute et pret a rendre service. Chambre tres propre et petit dejeuner copieux. Parking pour la voiture, wifi. Proximité des sites touristiques de la region.

Le matelas tres dur mais tellement fatigué que j'ai dormi quand meme. L'eau de la douche impossible a regler. Douche petite.

Atenção dos funcionários.

Dimensões limitadas do quarto. Box do banheiro diminuto (uma pessoa grande não cabe dentro dele).

Charmant petit hotel avec hotes accueillants et bienveillants. A 5min de la gare de Pompei et 5 min des ruines, c'est le pied a terre ideal pour les voyageurs qui cherchent calme, confort et contact avec la population locale. Tres bon rapport qualite-prix! N.b: la douche est tres etroite.

Hôtel familial dont le personnel est continuellement disponible pour vous aider, vous conseiller, vous guider. Hôtel très bien situé, à 10 minutes à pied des ruines de Pompéi, avec un grand parking, chambres avec balcon, un ordi avec connection Internet à la disposition des clients. La salle à manger est un musée en soi, avec des collections variées de peintures, monnaies, meubles, bijoux, livres, etc.Cet hôtel est idéalement situé pour rayonner dans la région et visiter Naples (50 min. En train ou autobus accessibles à pied), le Vésuve et même la péninsule de Sorrento. Pompéi en soi est une ville à découvrir avec d'excellent restaurants, une magnifique basilique, un important sanctuaire, une piazza animée, et tout cela à une fraction du coût des grandes villes ou de la côte Almafitaine.

Nous n'avons vraiment rien regretté de notre séjour à cet hôtel. Ce n'est certes pas un hôtel de luxe et ne s'affiche pas comme tel, les chambres sont modestes mais elles sont propres, confortables, peu bruyantes même sur le devant de l'hôtel. Nous aurions seulement souhaité y rester plus longtemps.

El lloc és cèntric, proper a les ruines i a l'estació del tren. És un hotel petit, acollidor, amb un esmorzar suficient i de bona qualitat. A més té aparcament gratuit (nosaltres anàvem en cotxe). Els propietaris, Pasquale i Carla, són gent amable i educada, i proporcionen informacions diverses als hostes, fent l'estada més agradable. La relació qualitat-preu es adequada i si tornessim a Pompeia tornariem al maeix hotel.
