Location was excellent. Staff was superb. Room had a beautiful view of the Tuscany vineyards and surrounding area. Charming stay in a picturesque setting. Montepulciano is a treasure of Italy. Loved it.
Wonderful view, but not for all the rooms. Make sure you check in for a room with a view.
There was no cleaning after out first day. Furniture could be renewed. You need to go up the stairs with your luggage. Staff could be more present during the stay.
Staff and view was amazing!!!
Very bad wifi
Location and view.
Our room had an amazing view looking out over the valley. We also had a balcony! I took many pictures! The bathroom was small but well designed. It was also only a couple blocks from the central piazza. The staff were very helpful. She even came and picked us up when the taxi dropped us off. (We took a taxi from Siena because of the train strike. We didn't want to miss a day in Montepulciano!)
The bed was not comfortable - too firm - as most beds were during our vacation in Italy.
Very nice point in the city Lot of parking space Wonderful view
Request room 6: it has a huge balcony that's actually an arch over the street below. It offers stunning views of the valley. Be aware that that room costs $110 Euro: a dispute I had with owner upon check out and payment.
We stayed two nights - very friendly owner and son Simon. He helped us with our flat tire on our rental car. Great location! Call early and get room #6 as it has a balcony overlooking the Tscan countryside and church.
Doesn't include breakfast. We could only find coffee and croissants to eat early in the morning - down the street.
Amazing place, so picturesque and the welcome was genuine and very friendly. We had a small room overlooking the old square and it was beautiful. If you are looking for lots of modern facilities its not for you but if you love character then its perfect. No breakfast was included but there is a good café just up the road. We would go back here without hesitation.
Amazing accommodations, fantastic views, and a friendly staff! I would definitely recommend staying here. Our stay was magical.
Location to Piazza and restaurants was nice. Comfortable and very quiet.
Quaint room with an amazing view. Clean, comfortable bed. Is within quick walking distance of everything. Friendly and helpful proprietor. Internet that actually works well in the room (as opposed to only in the lobby like many of the other hotels in Italy). We would definitely stay here again!
You need to call for someone to let you in and give you the key. For international travelers without phone service this is a challenge. A solution would be for the reservation confirmation to provide their internet password code so you can sign onto their WiFi and text them instead of call. For those of you with heavy luggage - be prepared, their are stairs you must climb to get to your room.
Room and no staff or information, let alone interest?
Good for budget travelers!
The view is really nice, but thats all
Horrible staff, not friendly at all, the room is not confortable, the furniture is old, tv does not work and you have to carry your luggage 2 floors up by stairs
The room with terrasse is just wonderful!!!
Location, size of the room, friendliness of the staff
Location was very romantic. Parking was perfect.
Front Desk rarely available.
The view from the room. Very clean and comfortable. Safe and 30 meters to the piazza grande.
The location is amazing and at least we (3 adults) got a room in the basement wich the windows opened up to the valley and right to the amazing sunset. Our room was spacious enought and even the extra bed was great to sleep at.
The wifi-didn't work but then again we didn't come to Montepulciano so we could hang out in the internet.
Gabriela was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her.
Everything was excellent
Great location & great views
not accepting credit cards is a bit annoying - who wants to carry cash everywhere?
Charming hotel in an amazing city
location and view of the valley bathroom was updated bed was comfortable staff was friendly
no breakfast or food available at the inn
