Camere Con Vista  

I was impressed with the quietness of the place, maybe this period of the year, the service is excellent, the room was very comfortable and cosy. We were happy to spend one night in the romantic place like Amalfi with the beautiful view and a convenient position.

The Camere Con Vista is in a good location close to the Almalfi bus stop / ferry port and small beach. Our room was clean and comfortable with a view of the seaside and port. Anna, the housekeeper, was very nice and helpful. The husband and wife at the cafe where breakfast is served were also very nice. We would definitely stay there again.

No wifi or internet access. The breakfast served at a nearby cafe is good but is limited to a coffee, croissant and orange juice. There is a restaurant across from the hotel along the waterfront and it was a little noisy when garbage was being picked up and one night when school kids were hanging out on the street there.

I think it was value for money considering location-we did get a reduced rate as a last minute off peak booking. Breakfast arrangements at a nearby caffe were great

I would recommend to stay at Camere Con Vista if you want a centrally located apartment with a balocny and a beautiful view over the sea. For us it was perfect.

I liked the location, it was very near the center of Amalfi!! And James who worked there was very helpfull. I also liked that the appartment had a terrace. A very nice stay!

The room was plain.

Great location - very handy to bars, restaurants, shops and beach. The host was helpful and gave good recommendations for places to eat etc.

The room was shoe-box size and not really ideal for four adults for four days. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned when we arrived - it was full of hair from the previous guests - and only had a basic clean over the subsequent days. The hot water ran out after two quick showers and didn't come back on again until the following day. We were told the parking would be 18 euros per day (in addition to what we were quoted for the room) but when we went to pay up, it was suddenly bumped up to 20 euros per day. We were told that if we moved our car at all, we would be charged an extra 18 euros, bringing the rate up to 38 euro per day which seems exorbitant. For the price that we paid - 16 euro per night - I would expect something much nicer. The bedding was very 70s so clearly hasn't been updated for many years, and the air conditioning was so ancient that it clicked and rattled all night.

I liked everything about this hotel, the position that is very close to the sea, e very professional staff, the room was clean and best of all I admired the view .

The location is at the central of Amalfi, though it would be a bit noisy at the night.

This place should've been likely only as a b&b or even less!! Which has no reception/breakfast dining room/HOT WATER/service. There is no so- called "service", for the staff is only from a travel agency who called himself "manager" and only handle request before 10pm, who even left the office number to us only. When we arrived 8pm in Amalfi from Sorrento, he didn't mention anything about the hot water is avaliable before 10pm, and made all of us had a very terrible night. The manager also threaten us to call the police and said he would charge the full price from my credit card even we were super angry and dissatisfied, which is absolutely the worst travel experience in my life!!! The floor was dirty, and it smelled moldy in the room.Besides, the "breakfast" was in a small cafe, which offered only orange juice, one croissant, one cup of coffee -- That's all. Hereby I want to suggest anyone who wants to be guaranteed to have a great quality of accommodation, do not try your luck with this "Hotel", it's not worthy it to take the risk!!! As the manager told us: maybe you could get the hot water sometimes, maybe someone switched it off and I didn't know anything about it. Then why are you here????! That's truely happened, and I still can't believe that he would dare to answer a basic question like that! Wish you luck, random traveller!

The parking system

The location to all services and transport was a real bonus.The view from our room was magnificent.

The bathroom was not clean. There was mildew in the shower and quite a few ants on the walls and the floor.It let down the rest of the facility. Everything else was fine.
