Staff was great and met us at the round about to pick our luggage up and bring it to the room as well as took care of parking our auto. They also took great care in sharing info about the city and it's resturants. Will visit again.

Having to walk through the tunnel to get to the hotel, though not that bad and was easy walk to the city center.

It was nicely located close to public transport, the beach and town. Staff were very kind and helpful and it's a nice place to stay for a day or two.

It may have just been our room, however it was really noisy. It was located above a tunnel and we did have quite a bit of trouble sleeping because of cars driving past etc, even with the windows closed.

The view, the location as a base for hikes and shopping,the friendly welcoming staff who told us where to shop and eat dinner, and drove us to an early train. We had plenty of room and liked the fact that we could have a kitchen to eat when we wanted to.

The view was good...

Firstly getting in is like mission impossible!!!. It is not an hotel but more of an assault course. After finding our way in via a office in the town centre we passed a grauntled of millipedes to get to our room. Once there the bed was reminiscent of tenco....basically a camp bad. Breakfast served a walk away ! On cold croissant no preserve just a dirty look when asked for it warm!!! Worse stay in Italy for the £100. Complete joke.

The service was exceptional. Our bags were carried and our car was parked for us. Everyone so helpful. View was lovely and plenty of room for the 4 of us. Cannot rate it highly enough, would stay there any time. Highly, highly recommended!!

There was not a whole lot to do there in March/April

Close to the center and has great view from the balcony and the small terrace. The room and the bathroom were clean. The owner "James" met us at the bus station on our way from Sorrento to Amalfi and helped with the luggage. He arranged a car with a driver to the Airport for our return flight. He was also kind to allow me use his computer for on-line checking and printing our boarding passes.

Don't make mistake' This is not a hotel. It is a kind of B&B with "breakfast" in a small coffee shop, some 200 meters away from where you stay, where you are served only a cup of coffee, a croissant and orange juice. They didn't charge when we asked for a second croissant or a paistry. The room is "heated" only with an airconditioner (in January when it was 10 degrees Celcius outside), which is so noisy that you can't sleep at all. Moreover, the air is dried because of the aircoditioner, which is very uncomfortable. There is a tunnel underneath the building and you have to be very careful on your way to/from the center because drivers don't slow down even when they see you trying to walk on the "side road", which actually does not exist. We would probably not like to stay there again.

Location was fantastic, service was very attentive - it was a perfect location to enjoy everything the Amalfi coast has to offer.

What I liked the best about this hotel was its location: overlooking the sea and the harbour of this beautiful little town. Close to everything one can think about. Despite this the room was quite and peaceful for a good sleep. I should really appreciate the hotel staff for their cooperation in check-in at an odd time in the evening!

The provision of a kitchenette and the balcony overlooking Amalfi harbour. The staff were very helpful. The continental breakfast (coffe and coroissants) was provided at a local cafe, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful owner Niño, showed me everything there is to know and was helpful in every way - even referred me to wonderful restaurants and invited me to go boating. Loved my stay!

The balcony had a great view of the Amalfi marina. It was also a 2 minute walk away from Amalfi center.

The cleaning lady would bang on your door to clean the room, if you didnt wake up and leave the room by 11 - your room did not get cleaned, you didnt get fresh towels that day. So, even if you opted out of having her clean your room, she made so much noise that you didnt get sleep anyways. The harbor has alot of ferries coming and leaving in the morning that it could also get noisy. They didnt know the check out time, so they came to our door and asked us to leave at 10am (I had to show them our reservation sheet to prove it said 11) It was very disturbing to have the hotel manager asking us to hurry up when we had another hour. Breakfast is at a near by cafe, not within the building.

Location, location location. It is easily one of the best located hotels in Amalfi. Close to all restaurants and shops with views over the Harbour to die for. Amazing.

While the location was superb, the overall quality of the rooms is pretty poor. Budget category only..... At best. Apart from the cleaner there is no service. But still we had a awesome holiday.

Million dollar view. Proximity to city centre and beach. Non-obstrusive staff. Relaxed environment.

We booked a self-catering apartment in Camere Con Vista. Although it was not furnished luxuriously, it was comfortable. The apartment had 2 balconies and had the best views in Amalfi, directly overlooking the busy little port/harbour, with its constant flows of pleasure boats, cruisers, canoers, rowers etc.going in and out. There was something to look at the whole time. On our last night there was a fantastic firework display out to sea (the best we have ever seen) which we could enjoy from our balcony. If views are important to you (and they are to us), this is the best place to stay in Amalfi. The location is also excellent -close to the boats, buses, cafes, restaurants, cathedral, beaches etc. Nino and James were helpful at all times. Excellent value for money

There are two downsides: (I) there were, I think 56, steps up to enter our apartment. This is not the place to stay if you have serious mobility problems (but then, Amalfi generally is not the best place to be for those with such problems.) (ii) the entrance /egress to camere Con Vista is close to the entrance to a tunnel, so again, this is not the place for people with mobility problems. Neither of these downsides was a problem for us. Basically if you want a comfortable place to stay, with a fabulous view and central location this is the best place to be. If you only want 'luxury' then pay for it in an up market hotel!

I had the distinct impression when I booked that this was a hotel. IT IS NOT it is a B&B. I has no facilities whatsoever. Breakfast is in a square in the town approx 150M from the hotel and consists of coffee, croissant and a small orange juice. Under the circumstances the price was in my opinion outrageous. I paid just under £100 per night for a double with breakfast. The only saving grace was that the views from the room were great overlooking the bay.

Location: Perfect base along coast if planning to visit Ravello, Positano, Capri, etc. Buses/ferries about 3 minute walk from rooms. ROOM: View from balcony beautiful, FREE SECURE wifi, kitchen nice, a lot of space for what you pay. STAFF: James is extremely helpful, recommended some awesome local restaurants, room cleaned everyday FOOD: Breakfast consisted of a croissant, tea/coffee, & fruit juice. Directly across from breakfast place was a great produce stand. To right of the stand was a great cheese/meat/wine/etc shop. To the left of stand was a great PIZZA/seafood place. Best seafood place...out your room window and look to the right along the water. OVERALL: My wife and I loved it! It was the first place on our 3 week Italy excursion and by far one of our favorite spots. We stayed 4 nights and we wish we had stayed longer. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Room: hard beds, but I have slept on worst and I also have a bad back. Anyone with a "normal" back will have no problem.

The rooms were not in a Hotel as we expected but more like an appartment. Would not be suited to any person with problems climbing stairs as there are no lifts

I have stayed here on several different occasions now (! - probably says it all), always without complaint. Great location with views overlooking the sea (enjoyed from ones room/balcony or the communal roof terrace) and a short (2mins tops) walk to the main square, buses and ferries. Rooms are clean and tidy (regularly cleaned), many with a kitchenette (always handy) and wifi. James is a fantastic host – nothing is too much trouble and is always more than happy to help - be it local sites and things to do or fixing a drowned mobile phone! Perfect base from which to explore Amalfi and surrounds!

Great location, but hard to find. Needed to phone the Manager to get a key, which when you dont have a mobile phone is a problem!

I was sorry to discover the state of the quadruple room was nothing alike the pictures at the web. Not suitable for 4 people at all! Sorry to say that it Influenced the percipitation of the whole stay :( The pillows were disgusting!
