|Boasting a canal-view terrace and free WiFi throughout, Hotel dalla Mora is located in the Santa Croce district of Venice, a 3-minute walk from San Nicola da Tolentino Church.|
Camping Venezia Village has a perfect location-near the bus station -about 2-3 min.walk.The bad was very comfortable. Lovely seating area outside cabin. Lidl is a 5 minute walk away. The staff speak very good English.and provide touristic guidance (city maps, bus tickets). There are free parking.
Bungalows were great and very clean. Calm surroundings. Female staff were so great at reception, helpful and gave advice. We would stay there again for sure. Thank you.
Shame about male staff at reception who came across as cynical and uninterested. As to restaurant owner well, he comes across as grumpy and bored out of his mind. Wrong image for a restaurant. Shop is uninspiring.
A nice little place useful for visitors to Venice who have a car. Close to bus stop.
The cabins are airtight and can get a bit damp; open a window.
The grounds were kept clean. It was very close to bus - stop into Venice (only about 8 minutes trip). Helpful staff who spoke English. Was quiet. Free parking. Shop & restaurant on site. Close to shops/hotels etc. A good clean warm cheap place to stay in. We had a small 2 person chalet with no kitchen, but there are larger family size chalets
Not much space in the chalet (although for the size it was well designed with proper bathroom and small porch to sit out on) It would not be easy get around for someone in a wheelchair - the ground is gravel / earth with a narrow wooden path to walk on
Very comfy bed. Great facilities. Lovely seating area outside cabin. Lidl is a 5 minute walk away.
Location - 10 mins bus ride to center of Venice. Comfortable stay and good activities for young children. My daughter just loved the place. Close to supermarket lidl and you can cook your own food with the well equipped kitchen. Staff were friendly and spoke good English. Bus stop is couple of mins by walk.
Bit cramped rooms.. But value for money.
Location and price
To have to pay for a short swim
Location is good. Only 7-10 min bus ride to Venice and buses run all night. Definitely worth it instead of paying an extortionate three times as much for staying in Venice. Great value for money. Also great to have your own porch where you can sit and relax.
No free wifi
Very very small room with to thin walls. The room is made for children, not for adults.
Good location, next to bus stop driving directly to Venice. Fair price
You need to pay for extras. Small room with thin walls, very noisy.
- Staffs are very friendly and helpful, they even helped me to print out some mails for free. - We stayed in a bungalow which is exactly the same as images they show on their website and it was very comfortable, clean & silence. - There are a restaurant, a small supermarket, a swimming pool, washing service and many other services in the camping. All of them are with reasonable price (my wife did check). They also sell bus ticket to Venice with the same price as buying at the ticket machine. Final word, this camping is one reason that we want to come to Venice again.
There is no really minus point. But it will be better if: - The WIFI is free :P - There are more notifications on the way from the bus stop to the gate of the camping. It will be easier for people who come by bus.
Great location, the cheapest option near Venice, good stuff, very clean and hot water all day!
We are in 2014 and we still have to pay for the internet.
A perfect budget travel option for trip to venice. Very conveniently located at Mestre , 5 mins bus ride away from venice. Very polite staff and helpful. A fantastic experience.
No common kitchenette option available. Food wasnt good at the cafeteria.
I liked everything so far. Generally it is nice place to stay, not far from Venice.
Small but with almost everything we need
The room is really small for 3 person; It does not smell very well
Good bus service into venice
Not easy to get to from the train station unless you know where you're going. Room was small and pretty basic, floor was dirty and noise from neighboring room very loud.
Pricing was good, room was little but very functional. Location was perfect - near the bus station.
There were no toiletries, which caused minor inconvenience and at times the room felt really clostrophobic.
Location, cleanliness, parking places, touristic guidance (city maps, bus tickets), staff's very good english, 5 minutes bus trip to venice main vaporetto station, 5 minutes car ride to Mestre center and shops, ideal value for money if you need basic place to sleep
was problematic to see the sign announcing the camping between 2 car sellers while driving within a roundabout. without GPS would not have been able to find it
The place is great. Clean place. Very kind staff. What you see is what you will get.
I liked to get out of the City in the evenings. It is very quiet at the camping you can relax and refill your energy for the next day. A little bit of nature around and little bit of adventure. The bungalow was very clean and comfortable enough. In winter it might be a bit a problem as there is no table inside. Surely the space is limited but manageable for holidays.
I really would have liked to go swimming more often but the opening times are poorly from 10am to 8pm most of the days we were out at these times.
Location: Good Facility: Good
The ventilation is not good
Nothing very much
Accommodation much smaller that suggested by photographs. Staff impersonal and officious, self-catering facilities were totally inadequate. Restaurant food was inedible
very clean very easy to get to Venice
Lidl was just 500m away and bus stop to Venice only 100m. Staff gave all the needed information.
Cabins are not soundproof. The Internet was really slow, couldn't load even Facebook
Lady in reception was helpful and provided us with all information we needed. I never thought it's gonna be so easy and cool to stay in a camping site! The bungalow was brand new and spotlessly clean. It's 3 mins walk to the bus stop and it takes only 10 mins ride to get to Venice.
