location: a little far away from city centre, and long time is need for waiting bus……
Good clean and simple accommodation in standard bungalow. A good menu in the restaurant and a well stocked store.
Very noisy where we were, until 2am then noise from the club until later. If you stay more than one night best to go for the superior bungalows located further away from the noisy area.
Cheap. Facilities : Supermarket, pool, free wifi, cheap and fast shuttle to Vatican. Nice staff.
The bungalows are very poor soundproofed and you can hear your neighbours even if they're whispering(and they usually aren't). Due to the lack of ventilation there was a bad smell in the bungalow.
Atmosphere, facilities, living accommodation
Bungalow next to building site, bit of noise but not unbearable
It is a good cheap place to stay but typically takes about an hour each way to get into the city to see any of the sites. Really good air-con!
- Wi-fi does not work after 6pm - very long way (2hour return via bus) from city - no kitchen
Cheap Enough space in bungalow supermarket in the village Good reception
Breakfast was expensive and disappointing Beds had a lot of stains Loud neighbors
Never had such a hectic weekend of tourism and parties. Was awesome.
The layout of the village was so fun and different. All the amenities you'd need (grocery on-site and across the road too, disco, good-value restaurant). Great, friendly staff (especially for our first time in Rome). Friendly neighbours and an amazing experience overall.
Pool was FREEZING, and we were stranded across the bridge for an hour, as the last shuttle decided not to turn up at 9pm!
It was very clean . 6km to san pietro basilic by car .
Great Facilities Shutlle bus to vatican
Swimming pool too busy and not so clean A little expensive Dangerous walk to city Bus stop
Inefficient and unfriendly staff. Location is toublesome to travel via public transport. Ran out of hot water for bath.
It was wonderful experience been in roma camping village with the staff, cleanliness, comfort and everything.
Very friendly Staff, swingingpool, restaurants.
Public busstops half a mile from the campingplace & visit to the supermarket outside the camping takes a lot of time inspite of the availeble transfer by minibus. We stayed into a chalet with outdated interior.
The hospitality of the restaurant staff, the pool the location.
Beautiful surroundings and good food.
The room was not cleaned every day and we had to remind the staff to change our towels several times. The water in the swimming pool was very cold and wi-fi connection was poor.
Swimming pool Laundry inside camping. Shop inside camping Restaurant and club inside camping. Clean chalet. Information center where You can buy Roma Pass, tickets for public transport and trips to the city.
Long way to bus stop and Panorama supermaket caused by street works. We had ants in bathroom. I had sometimes problems with connection to Internet, but it happend usually in the evening where most people used it. Key to safe in my chalet was lost, so I was unable to use it.
Air conditioning a life saver in chalet
Pretty good stay. Quite easy to commute into Rome Central. Supermarket right across the road. Supermarket right on campus also. Quite swell
Price for laundry.
Friendly and helpful staff at the reception and at the entrance of the camping Clean chalets and good facilities for recycling and collecting bin bags Great long opening hours for swimming pool and nice bar at the pool Great service to and from airports
Temporary closed busstop at the campsite, therefore nearest busstop at 500 metres along a busy road Shuttle bus to town for a family is a bit overpriced Closure of bridge across busy road to the campsite from nearest return busstop
The village is very good even the staff are very helpfully there is a guy named mario baccouche the manager of the restaurant was very very helpful to us ,the facilities are good and clean even the food from the restaurant is good.
The only thing that is from camping village Rome side is the pool is very cold all the time, and the biggest problem is that are a lot of stealing outside the village opposite where there is the panorama supermarket TAKE CARE they broke our rented car window and stole us a whole luggage and the Gps ,after only 10 hours that we arrived and take care on the buses and metro for the pickpocketing ..
Good location and good value restaurant
Surly shop staff Should make visitors aware that insect bites are severe No cigarettes on sale except in evening restaurant
Poor wifi connectivity
Roma was very clean and paved throughout unlike Fabulous which was gravel and dusty. The shuttle bus was good as was the washing facilities. Close proximity to Roma center and shuttle to same helpful. Supermarket across carriageway excellent. Great for couples and older families.
No fridge in Bungalow nor any notice of same when booking. The pool was small and not suited for small children. Fabulous pool far better and safer, with vinyl lining. Mattresses thin and not very comfortable. Wi if very patchy and none existent any more then 100 meters from the reception. No children's entertainment at night, which Fabulous has. Overall I would not recommend to families unless kids teenagers. Fabulous has more to offer for this group.
The location was too far
