Location Friendly Staff Beautiful Room
location and facilities were great, but staff really made the difference.
will need more time in Rome next visit (-:
Fantastic Location Really friendly helpful staff The Bed was large and comfortable The Shower was good Breakfast in your room was a good service. Towels and sheets were changed every day
The room was small and a bit dark and there was no natural light. It was noisy outside the room early on a morning, you could hear people coming and going and the staff preparing breakfasts etc.
Staff and location were excellent. Hotel is really clean, breakfast good.
Bed too soft Hotel too hot
Bad wifi inside the room (we were at Adriano room)
Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is perfect for a weekend in Rome to just walk around and enjoy!
No hangers for the towels in the bathrooms..
- The location was really central, staff were helpful. -Room was very nice and modern
- Reception area very small and breakfast was very basic.
The hotel was with walking distance of just about everything. Lewis, Jonathon and Sara all went of their way to make you feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay here immensely and would return.
The room was a bit small and we should have booked a larger room in the Campo or a "sister hotel" nearby.
The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The hotel is perfectly located close to shopping and restaurants. Everything is in walking distance. The room (Cleopatra) was nice and clean!
Location was great! We stayed in the suite, Cleopatra. The room was very spacious and romantic. Not too many rooms at Campo Marzio so it was quaint. Everything was always very clean.
The walls/doors are very thin. Every morning we were woken up by the individual preparing the breakfast. The lighting in the bathroom is very poor (for shaving or putting on make-up).
Limited rooms. Known staff and very helpful. Great location.
No iron in room or even in the place.
Great location, received a call on the day to check our arrival time. It was the first stop on the honeymoon and they had the room made up beautiful. The staff could not have been better everyone was excellent. Breakfast was really good also. Highly recommend.
Stayed a short time but couldn't fault a single thing. Sara at reception was very helpful and over delivered by my expectations. Room was excellent in every aspect. Will return there again when I'm in Rome..
The location....if you don't have a car. Impossible to drive to and no place to park.
No elevator, no English TV, or any other language except Italian. If you have an early flight. There is no one to help with luggage down a steep staircase and no breakfast. The staff is only there from 8am till 9pm.
Staff was more than willing to assist with making recommendations on where to go, making reservations and arranging transportation
The hotel was slightly hard to find. The entrance is very small, having just a simple door with a sign above. It is not your typical large hotel entrance
The location The staff: professional, helpful, available. We had lot of attention. It is was really appreciable. We had the feeling of being home. The free fruit platter.. Refreshing after a tourism day in Rome.
Very comfortable bed. Plenty of room in the suite, which was cool and quiet. Nice big bathroom.
Room was a bit dark, and the wifi a bit intermittent and slow.
I stayed in the Cleopatra Room and it was a really luxurious room with a big bathtube and plenty of room for luggage etc. The receptionist ladies were also very helpful in helping me book tours, get taxis and recommending places to go and eat. The location of Campo was also very good, it was close to a range of must-visit Rome sights and Campo itself was a shopping street with many shops that offered a ranged of goods from designer items to quality Italian clothes. I would highly recommend this hotel to others!
The only thing that I found frustrating was the slow/lack of wifi. At one point I was unable to access the internet despite the connection saying 'excellent'. And also that I could only stay for 2 nights!
-Staff were great and really helpful. -Breakfast was nice and above expectations. -The hotel was close to mostly everything you need ( shopping, restaurants, bars and attractions)
-Lighting Inside the rooms was a little dark. -The phone inside the room cannot be used to call someone and no one can really call you on that phone.
Location was really good, staff very friendly and prompt in their service. Private transport to the airport was comfortable. The place does provide a personal touch to your stay with them.
Wifi wasn't as fast, could be due to service provider problem during our stay there.
We really enjoyed our stay! The place is very pleasant and has a great atmosphere + the location is phenomenal. The best thing about Campo Marzio is the staff: Jonathan & Louis, You guys Rock! :) GRAZIE MILLE!!!
That we only stayed 4 nights
Great staff, very helpful. Location fantastic.
Room was quite small. Few towel rails.
Excellent, excellent, excellent location! It felt like a home away from home and was within walking distance to many major attractions like the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and of course the Spanish Steps! Lots of good restaurants in the vicinity too and the main shopping area, Via Del Corso and Via Condetti is less than 5 minutes away. It's located in a charming neighborhood and the staff are very helpful and obliging with good attitude. The chambermaids also did an excellent job of keeping my room neat and clean everyday! The airport transfer service was flawlessly done. I will miss Campo Marzio Luxury Suites and I'll definitely be back soon!
Shower was too dark with no lights.
This place is quickly becoming popular for many reasons: its in the center of Rome,a short walk to Trevi, Panthron, Spanish steps,Piazza Navona and the popular Trastevere district. It is surrounded by high end shopping, not the tourist stuff,as well as fantastic restaurants like Il Falchetto. This BnB has modern decor with some simple and classic features with large flat screen TVs,large bathrooms, very soft king size beds, new windows, lots of lights, and space for luggage. There is a small communal eating area which can be used to make coffee and eat cornetto which is always available even after the staff leaves in the evening. Breakfast can be served in your room or in this dinning area. We stayed in their largest suite, Cleopatra, which was beautiful. It had a large glass shower and walk in closet/vanity. There is also a bathtub in the room which is an interesting fixture. Above all,the staff is fantastic. All knew our names and engaged us every time we came/went. They spoke many languages and were always providing helpful advice for places to go and how to get there. Because this is a small place and the rooms are close together, sometimes you can hear people walking on the wood floor outside the door or if they are congregating in the eating lounge. There was a group of 6 ladies who occupied 3 of the other suites while we stayed and they were very loud and disruptive since they played loud music and walked in hard shoes back and forth for hours in the eating area, instead of respecting the quieter culture of a BnB where people tend to use the rooms to relax and nap. This is not a place to stay if you want a loud and active night life with your group since there is no bar/restaurant. The neighborhood is plenty alive with tons to do if music and noise is your preference. I also suggest ear plugs at night if you sleep with the windows open because there's lots of foot traffic and cars.
I would recommend a carpet runner outside the room doors to reduce the sound from foot traffic
