aircon not working, wifi is only accessible outside the room
Tucked in a small plaza, ten minute walk from St. Mark's Square, five minutes to Rialto bridge. Rooms were simple b but clean. Breakfast was typical Italian with no embellishments but rolls served warm and coffee was perfect. Staff was very helpful, pleasant. We arrived at ten AM hoping to leave our luggage but they checked us in without a question. View of a camel from our room was memorable.
The hotel occupies the second story of the building. Not a problem for us as we had only backpacks but could be an issue for those with luggage.
Nice and charming little hotel with really helpful staff and good breakfast
The beads are none your doctor would recommend for a relaxing night - far too soft and worn out, the internet had some hickups.
The location is perfect, breakfast was okay, staff were nice and the room was clean.
The extra charge for the internet. The rooms on the booking said it was a room with a view but it wasn't and it was much smaller. We couldn't open the closet as the 3rd bed was squeezed in. However the beds are comfortable
Bed mattresses shocking to sleep on, bathrooms mouldy.
Clean with great central location! Breakfast was a little sparse (no meat or fruit and only a piece if small packaged cheese) but okay for being included in the price. Great AC!! Lots of stairs for those with kids or health issues. Overall a good value.
In Venice city
-grumpy staff since we arrived late-our fault as well -difficult to find due to language barrier-Venice is like a maze
Breakfast was great and the location.
Bed abd the rate of the hotel
I really prefer the location
But the wifi is not free you need to buy a username and password .The price for different time period is different! Maximum time is 6 hours for 4 euros
Location excellent -Saw all the sights on foot, never had to take water bus which was very overpriced. Staff excellent - very helpful and let us leave bags for hours after we had checked out. very clean - although room was small and simple. . Breakfast (croissants, tea/coffee, juice) was nice.
No free wifi, had to pay per hour which would have been expensive
Breakfast is not really good
If you have a large family, you can't beat the price and location. A little out dated, but a good clean place to get some sleep after exploring Venice. Can beat the price for a large family and a single room. Breakfast was fair and free! Staff was friendly. If you are looking to not spend a fortune on a hotel in Venice, you can't go wrong here.
Decor and 2 flights if stairs to get to lobby.
location, location, location. If you get lost it is real easy to get back to the Rialto bridge and walk back to the hotel.
the price, but in the middle of Venice this is what you can expect
Between Rialto and San Marco , very nice people ,great cappuccino
Bathroom out of the room , no fridge , no elevator
Location, helpful staff, AC, good bathroom with hot water and hair drier.
Room is very very small. No view of outside. There is a window in the room, but outside the window it's some other room's balcony and we have to hear their conversation into late night.
Airconditioning needed to be either more powerful or more cold as I was in the top room of the hotel.
Breakfast Welcome Quality of the room Price
lovely friendly service. great staff
No free WIFI
Location! Very nice dorm roomish.... Sweet little breakfast... SUPER 2 1/2 star
Lots of stairs, no problem for most
Nice and friendly host who lives in this beautifully restored old house in Malamocco with his family. Nice room with view to the pedestrian street. The breakfast is served in a charming patio and comes with fresh fruit and rolls and pastry, etc, the tables are set with great detail, it all looks really inviting! We particularly appreciated the possibility to lend bikes to go to the public beach just a few minutes away - after spending five days on a conference in buzzing Venice, Malamocco was just the right place to relax! The buses run frequently to Lido, but I also went by bike in spite of the heat, and arrived in about twenty-twenty-five minutes, there are bike trails most of the way. (It would be a nice place to stay even to visit Venice as there are buses and ferries all the time, and Malamocco has the great advantage of "free access" to the Adriatic Sea ) The local restaurant / bar in the parallel street to the Ca'Noemi serves excellent sea food (but was fully booked Saturday night, probably due to the Festa del Redentore the third week end of July)
location, clean, and right by a canal
the hotel is in the 3rd floor but if you ask for help with your luggage they help you with it.
Location was extremely central with all the major sights a short walk away. The staff were very helpful and a decent breakfast.
Rooms were a bit small though to be fair, it was central Venice
Staff was friendly and efficient. Breakfast was crisp and the cappuccino and orange juice was refreshing. Room was very clean and comfortable and we had a terrace also. Hotel location is close to Rialto bridge and vaporetti station.
No lift, which made it difficult to carry baggage up the stairs to reception in 2nd floor.
One of the best hotel experiences I had. Mainly because of the amazing stuff. It is owned by family, in the evenings the lady runes the house with daughter and it is a nice Italian speaking english translation experience from daughter and mother :) The hotel is on 2nd floor so if you have heavy bags ask someone to put them up for you. Rooms are small but you expect it from Venice. The stuff even woke up at 5am just to give us breakfast. That was super sweet. The location is quite easy to find just ask people for directions.
The wi-fi was for money and not super fast. But you can use internet in cafe just downstairs.
This was an amazing fresh hotel experience. It is easy to find you just need to find for directions, climb to 2nd floor and you are in reception. Stuff is exceptionally polite and helpful, they even woke up for us at 5am to serve us breakfast that starts only at 7:30 usually. Business is family owned. The lady doesn't speak English so well but her daughter and husband always can translate :) And it is one of the nice Italian experiences :)) It is very close to Rialto and 5-10 min from St Marc Square. Everything is very walkable. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean and nice. Very satisfied with stay. And advice to everyone to stay here. Definitely coming back.
Internet is not very fast and for pay, but pay is quite cheap so fine. if You have heavy bags will need to climb to 2nd floor, but I think the stuff will help you.
