In a 15th-century building on the Grand Canal, Pesaro Palace is next to the Ca' d'Oro water bus stop. It offers Venetian-style rooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and flat-screen TV.
Score from 1645 reviews Excellent
The staff at this hotel are exceptional. Very helpful and courteous. Hotel is a little way out from the touristy parts of Venice, but it is a pleasant walk and quite well sign posted. Would certainly recommend.
I prefer quite plain decor, so it was difficult to relax in such a 'busy' bedroom.
Giovanna, Tomas & staff approachable & helpful. Bach flower Italian toiletries divine. A beautiful hotel - classically Venetian luxurious decor, it's own water taxi service; conveniently located near to the public vaporetti waterbus service.
The spa dressing gowns in room were a tad on the small side Would have liked tea / coffee / hot chocolate making facilities in the room
Staff excellent, room decoration fantastic. Balcony excellent
Loved eveything, best Hotel Welcome ever!!!!
Excellent Staff, very helpful and accommodating Upgraded room without making a big fuss Highly recommended Would Stay here again for sure
Small Breakfast Area WiFi not working properly
The staff is wonderful-- so friendly and helpful. And the location is close to vaporetto lines, the train station and it has its own dock. Highly recommend.
EVERYTHING staff so helpful I will return soon
Location and service.

Very convenient to train station

I could not locate the hotel at first (not surprising as it is venice) a staff member offered to meet me at a location that I could find and escort me to the hotel. When the staff found out it was my birthday they even left a cake in the room. This is customer service.
The staff were very helpful in determining how to get around and enjoy the area. It was interesting to take the back streets to numerous squares, shops and restaurants.
The rooms are very small; but have beautiful décor and ambiance. I would still recommend the hotel.
The location, the staff, the traditional Venetian decor
The room was rather small for our 8 day stay
This hotel was lovely , very clean and excellent breakfast and very helpful polite staff.
My friend and I stayed at Hotel Canal Grande for 3 nights. The room was beautiful, in a separate building just meters away from the lovely main building. The breakfasts were fantastic, the ambiance lovely, and the central location very helpful. The staff was extremely helpful too, and gave us information to book musical events and tours.
Everything. Absolutely nothing to dislike. Just perfect in every respect. I think we had the room in your picture (Longhi) and it was just wonderfully romantic. Highly recommended.
Nothing at all.
The service and ambience were fabulous. The staff were helpful and welcoming, and the rooms were beautiful.
The only improvement to make the stay perfect would be more comfortable mattress and pillows.
The location was great, with a nice view of the canal. It was a bit of a trek from where the airport bus dropped us because we had heavy suitcase, but we left Venice by train and the railway station was almost opposite. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Their recommendation for restaurants excellent. The decor of the room was gorgeous. We stayed in the rooms outside the main building and they were a good size and very comfortable.
The breakfast bar was only average, but the view of the canal and the environment in the breakfast room made up for it.
It was our 5 year Anniversary, we booked a double room and they upgraded us to the Vivaldi Suite which was amazing! 4 poster Bed was massive and so comfy. The main bathroom was so spacious with dual sinks and lovely powerful shower. The decor of the whole hotel was traditional and luxurious. All the staff are so helpful and kind. The breakfast each morning was really yummy especially the custard croissants. Location is great, we got on an ATVO coach from the airport to La Roma which takes 20 minutes then it was 2 stops on the Vaperetto bus on the Canal to the hotel in Riva De Biasio. From the hotel to any main tourist attractions only took about 15/20 minutes walking and you were in the heart of it all. It’s quicker if you get the Vaperetto water bus to where you’re going and it will save your legs as you will be doing a lot of walking in Venice. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return here when we visit Venice again :-) Thank you to all the staff! :-)
Stayed in Venice for 4 days and absolutely loved the Canal Grande. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. We were even surprised by an upgrade to a junior suite ! The hotel was conveniently close to the train station and is also within walking distance of all the main attractions. Beautifully decorated, clean, quiet and comfortable, the hotel also had all the luxury amenities as expected for a 4 star hotel. The bath/ shower were spacious, clean and delightful with powerful hot showers. Good free wifi. The breakfast was delicious. Overall we loved our stay and would return again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
Nothing at all.
The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Our room was beautifully appointed in an old Venetian style. The breakfast was wonderful and much better then most European breakfasts. The hotel was very romantic, my wife and I will stay here again.
The only negative thing was the room was a little small, but because the hotel use to be a private residence it just added to the charm.
Staff at the hotel were fantastic. Following our check in they spent 10 minds talking about Venice. Places we should visit, how we should get around and where we should eat. Very informative. Breakfast at the hotel was simple yet lovely. Fresh fruit, a selection of meats and pastries. Be aware that when it rains pays off the city flood, but this shouldn't spoil your holiday, just add to the charm of the place.
Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
''Pop up", crowded breakfast area and poor quality breakfast. Location not as convenient as I expected from the advertising. Not really 4 star in my opinion.
Good location as not too close to the busy areas, some lovely walks behind the hotel. Great room ( paid extra for canal view with terrace to the side overlooking small square and canal). Staff could not be more helpful.
No tea or coffee making facility in room, only a minor point
Location....just a short walk from the train station and quietly tucked away from overly crowded high traffic tourist areas. Beautiful interior décor. Excellent staff who were welcoming and helpful at all times. Comfortable rooms and updated bathrooms. Excellent breakfast. Outdoor tables on canal available to eat breakfast or have cocktails. Courtyard with tables also available for meals and cocktails.
