Very warmheart & friendly environment. We liked location as it's in the mountains and sometimes you can meet wild life like roedeer in the late ev. Also we like to walk thus we could enjoy walking up & down the mountaine to/from funicular (but hotel provides pick up service). It keeps you fit ;) hotel has two buildings, views from both are excellent (Swiss mountains or lake Como). It's better than to live down in the town.

Extremely basic hotel at the top of mountain. A very steep long drive on very narrow road up to near the top of the mountain. The hotel is very basic with shared bathroom. it has simple restaurant serving simple food on site. Breakfast was very good. The manager was very friendly and helpful. Nothing to fault. just don't expect much, you won't be disappointed.

Shared bathroom, but as mentioned, this is a very basic cheap hotel up on the mountain. It is not pretentious. So nothing is disappointing.

You feel welcome the moment you enter the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they will do their best to make your stay perfect. Special thanks to the lady of the house who always has a big friendly smile on her face! The views from the hotel are also amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone and I am sure to visit this place again in the future! Beats any big hotel 10-0.

Unique location and amazing views in a typical Italian room that was modern yet still had unspoiled features.

You do need nerves of steel to drive up the hill.

I can't overstate just ho wmuch we loved our stay at Capanna C.A.O. Sure, it's not the most luxurious of places, but then at the price we weren't expecting that. What we did get was the a warm welcome from th efriendliest couple who did everything they could to make us feel completely comfortable and at ease. Throw in the stunning views, and wonderful location - beautiful walks nearby and easy to pop down to Como for a day in the town - and you have an amazing place to spend some time and unwind.

un accueil extrêmement chaleureux, une situation exceptionnelle, c'est parfait. il suffit d'atteindre le bout de la route !

Sitio incomparable. Personal amabilísimo. Tranquilidad. Aire puro. Vistas increiblemente hermosas. Desayuno abundante.

La fachada del edificio anexo debe ser restaurada. Las puertas de las habitaciones, aunque son las originales del edificio, deberían ser arregladas correctamente o cambiadas.

Tolle Lage, sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Besitzer und vor allem sehr ruhig gelegen. Wunderbar um sofort loszuwandern.

Sehr engagiert, nett, und freundlich. Schöne Lage mit Aussicht. Gute, einfache Küche. Authentisch. Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern.

Verkehrsanbindung bis Funiculare doch besser mit eigenem oder Mietwagen.

Vriendelijkheid! - lekker en eenvoudig eten - mooie omgeving - eenvoudige, maar propere kamer

Geluid - je hoort alles in het gebouw, dus best oordopjes meenemen als je hiervan last zou hebben

Il personale è cordiale e Il posto molto tranquillo. E' una pensioncina molto semplice e tutto l'arredameto è un pò datato, ma si stà veramente bene.

Arrivarci non è semplice,devi fare una stradina che si arrampica e fare dello sterrato (solo pochi metri in realtà) noi per fortuna eravamo in moto, e per fermarsi solo un giorno come tappa di viaggio non vale la pena forse.

Der er mulighed for at bade langs Como-søen, holde storbysferie eller vandrer I alperne både på flerdages ture men også kortere turer F.eks. At gå fra restaurent til kro. Meget smukt.

Soggiornare alla Capanna è come essere in famiglia! Io e mio marito ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio fin dal primo momento. I proprietari sono cordialissimi, disponibili e sempre sorridenti! Ci torneremo sicuramente!!!!

La tranquilidad y las vistas. Cenamos muy bien. Muy amables y familiar. Al marcharnos nos acompaño en coche hasta el funicular que baja a Como!

Очень хорошие владельцы, мы проспали завтрак и были приятно удивлены тому, что сервированный стол с едой ждал до нашего прихода!

Очень трудная дорога в гору, но оно того стоит! Из отеля открывается шикарный вид, особенно ночью!)

L'accueil et le sens du service de l'equipe de l'hotel. La vue de la terrasse est vraiment magnifique. L'accès aux randonnées est très simple et accessible a tous.
