B&B Hotel Firenze City Center  

The best WiFi of the seven cities we visited. We could talk to the family through Skype with no problem at all.The breakfast was very good. We had scrambed eggs for the first time since 5/16/11 when we arrived in Italy. The location is unbeatable at this price with a surplus of means of transportation. There is a very good restaurant just 2 blocks away where youe can eat well at reasonble prices. And finally we needed a lavanderia that would wash intimate clothing and found a good one (Luciana) three blocks away. Only a block away from this lavanderia there is an Apple support and retail shop as well.

There is no refrigerator in the room so we had to buy from the front desk. The price of the bottle of water went from 1.20 to 1.50 in justhours. But at least it stayed that way.

Room was very noisy and in need of a freshen up but overall pretty good. Get directions if coming in by train as it is any easy walk. Not worth the $27 the taxi tried to charge

The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. It had huge balcony with great view of Florence. The stuff was really helpful. Location of the hotel is really close to the city center.

The shower did`t have a curtain, so all the water was on the floor.

Excellent Hotel. I couldn't believe that for so little money i could find such a beautiful hotel for my stay in Florence. The hotel is just 2 km from the city center. The room, very cozy, so modern designed, very comfortable, clean, the furniture brand new and the free WiFi extremely fast. A huge balcony with a breathtaking view to an ancient tower and the Florence hill. The staff very polite and ready to help you with any kind of information. Generally i am completely satisfied. Value for money excellent. For sure i would stay again in this hotel even for a triple price. Thanks guys and i congratulate you for your professionalism. Hope to see you again really soon!!!!!!!

It was easy to reach from the city center. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The shower had a problem si the floor ended up completely wet when you took a shower. To watch tv we had to move one of the beds because it was located under the tv. Very few plugs in the room.

I like hotel breakfast. I doesn't include in a room charge but it is reasonable and delicious.

Front desk staff, upon arrival, was not helpful and, in fact, put roadblocks in our way. The advertised food section was limited to a few bags of chips and some crackers.

Good wifi, offers what it says on the tin not more, for that reason can't complain.

No hotel parking, you have to figure it out yourself, luckily there's a big underground facility opposite.

Hotel was clean and newly renovated. Room was good but without any frills. Two lifts which serviced the building were quite small and lift demand of a morning for luggage carriage meant that there could be long waits for a vacant lift. Breakfast (continental) was adequate but had limited variety. Location was a reasonable distance from the city centre. Taxi fares to tourist attractions in the city centre were relatively cheap. A bus stop was in an adjacent street. Most Hotel clients seemed to be relatively young.

Basic and exactly what we wanted, modern room with good sized en suite. View of city. No fuss, simple and easy. Very clean and staff helpful. Sort of like a travelodge in the uk. About a ten min walk to the centre...ideal for us.

The hotel room was lovely. It was had a very modern and classy look. With a fantastic view of the Duomo. The view from balcony at night was breathtaking. I loved the room decor. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The free 24hour internet connection complete with a computer was a God Send!

Very nice view of the Florence skyline from our room. Our room was relatively large and clean. Bed was comfortable, though the bedding and towels were low quality. Free wifi. Excellent cafe next door with the best coffee we have had in all if Europe. Staf cafe. Go there for breakfast. Location close to train station with a connection to Florence centre.

Some staff members were rude and abrupt. The lift is very small and slow. Our shower did not have good pressure and was too small. Nowhere to even put your shampoo or body was down. No safe in the room.

Good modern hotel with large comfy bed. Clean rooms. Wifi worked fine. Microwave oven was available at ground floor. There is a bus (number 14) directly going to the railway station (SMN) - would not suggest walking.

City centre is a bit far, about a 20-minute walk.
