Day staff was very helpful...hotel in a quiet location close to the Colosseo, lots of well priced restaurants in the area. Room was large and clean (Rm 308- Deluxe Double). If you stuck your head out the window you could see the Colosseo! Good bathroom amenities- robes, shampoo/conditioner/body lotion/loofah/slippers/soap. Air conditioning was excellent. Bed and pillows were firm and comfortable. Internet available through the TV for a good price- we paid 6 Euros for the whole week. Breakfast was of great quality and value. Noise (chairs moving) was minimal from the breakfast room upstairs, but things like this do not bother us. English TV channel selection was 3 channels (SKY, CNN and MTV), the hotel should consider offering a better selection of basic channels instead of pushing the 29 Euro entertainment package. |

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome. The Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum and the metro, there is also a network of buses nearby. Any closer to the Colosseum and you would be affected by the crowds, the location is ideal. Breakfast is served on the roof top and the buffet breakfast is more than sufficient. The room was cleaned 2 or 3 times a day and was always cleaned properly. The rooms are air conditioned, but we turned it off and just opened the windows. The concierge’s at the hotel are excellent, very professional and welcoming, especially Mario. The clientele is a mix of Tourists and Businessmen. The concierge recommended a restaurant called Camparone in Trastervere. It was excellent, traditional Italian, reasonable price and excellent food. I’d recommend it to anyone. It’s full of local Italians which is also a glowing recommendation. If you want a top class restaurant with an incredible view of St Peters Basilica go to Les Etoilles restaurant on the top floor of Atlante Hotels. The hotel looks shabby but the restaurant is very stylish. Email them a few weeks before your visit and ask for a table with a view. You won’t be disappointed. Be prepared to spend though. There is a shuttle bus which costs €15 each, it’s €4 more expensive than the train from Fumicini airport but it’s worth it as it drops you at the door of your hotel. The locator on their website and on booking.com directs you to the wrong location. The hotel is actually on a road called Capo D'Africa. Although the locator is wrong it is still the same distance from a metro stop and from the Coloseum so i wouldn't be put off by it. If we hadn't asked for directions in the airport we would've been wandering the streets for ages. |

Breakfast on roof terrace was delicious. Great location. Air conditioning not working properly. Brought it to staff attention, nothing done about it. Heat in Rome was unbearable that night and very uncomfortable. |

Front desk staff very helpful and pleasant. Good location for getting around Rome and quieter than other central locations. You can find pleasant restaurants where local people would be eating. |

We thought this hotel was excellent, from the quality of all the fixtures and fittings to the warm friendly and helpful staff we had a fantastic time there and highly recommend it. Noisy early morning bin collections in the street outside. |

The hotel staff were very welcoming and gave us a city map to help plan our stay. Well located for tourist things to do in Rome. Would make a return visit to the Hotel. A really friendly hotel in the most wonderful city. Beds a little hard, and although breakfast was fine it was a bit unexciting!! |

The friendliness of the staff. The breakfast was excellent and the location was very good as it is near to everything yet sufficiently located away from the main streets to be nice and quiet N/A |

The hotel was extremely well kept and the staff were very friendly. We particularly enjoyed having breakfast out on the terrace in the sunshine. We would probably stay across the river nearer to most of the bars and restaurants if we went again, although we cannot fault the hotel and it had good access to most of the main sites. The colesseum is just down the road! |

The staff were welcoming and helpful particularly those serving breakfast. Its location was ideal only minutes from the Coliseum. We were also only stay in hotels that provide a gym which, though not extensive, was adequate for our needs. The cold tap in the bath deposited large amounts of sand into the bath. |

Kolbe Hotel Rome occupies a magnificent restored antique building in the heart of Rome, overlooking the Roman Forum, at the feet of the famous and romantic Palatine Hill. |
Located in the Umbertine section of Rome, near the central Termini station and a few steps away from the Teatro dell'Opera, the hotel is ideally located to explore this historic city. |
Just a 5-minute walk from the Roman Forum and the Coliseum, Hotel Duca D’Alba is located in the popular district of Monti, surrounded by typical wine bars and restaurants. |
Hotel Twentyone is a modern boutique hotel set on one of Rome’s best shopping streets. Castel Sant’Angelo and the historic centre are just a pleasant 10-minute walk away. |
