Great staff, breakfast and terrace area
No air conditioning but it was ok since it was cold outside
The hotel terrace provided a great outdoor escape for drinks and a cigar! Further, the complimentary morning breakfast was spectacular; full of Italian flavor topped with a cappuccino that was to die for!
The bed could have been softer.
Breakfast, the location, friendly and helpful staff, staff speaking fluent English.
Expensive hotel room service menu.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful in getting us mapped out to our destinations. We asked for recommendations for dinners and were never disappointed. The breakfast served daily was always fresh, with a variety of items.
We were on the first floor, so we heard music and noise from the bar. If we weren't so tired from our explorations, it would have been a real problem.
' , Great Breakfast, helpful staff,
Not as central as some wrote. Good 45 minutes walk to Navona, Trevi etc.
everything - the location to the colosseum was superb - being part of the old town of Rome - as opposed to the new city with the big stores etc - the local pub where we watched Roma play football on the TV - the atmosphere was electric - and of course they won! couldn't fault it - excellent choice of restaurants - we will be back - fabulous hotel!!
nothing to dislike!
The staff. The terrace. The situation.breakfast. Supper in the dining room
Wi Fi not very good. I had to go to lobby for receptionone evening we had a wonderful dinner in the breakfast room. We were the only customers. If this is to become successful it needs far better promotion and possibly some improvement in ambience when the outdoor terrace is not a possibility. Outdoor heaters would be another possibility
Great hotel.. Amazing breakfast including delicious bacon and eggs. Staff were really helpful and gave us a map and highlighted all the sights..
Watch your bags. Had my purse stolen from my bag on the metro which was extremely crowded didn't even notice!
This hotel is in a great location close to the colloseum pity about the loud music across the street but it was just for one night would stop here again
Very friendly staff. And helpful. Strong wifi. Nice terrace. Clean rooms. Spacious. Well organized with necessities. Quiet.
3 minutes from Colosseum yet very peaceful Charming and helpful staff Breakfast room and terrace with great views Good restaurants nearby
Minor complaint that room had no ironing facilities
Staff was courteous and multi-lingual. Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay at the hotel.
Thin walls. You can hear people speaking in the lobby from your room if you are on the ground flour
Very good location close to Colosseum and metro but still in a quite street. Woman who checked us in was the most smiling and positive person we met in Rome. The beds were the best I can remember I have tried in a hotel. I would recommend this hotel.
Very small selection for breakfast, we stayed for a week and They never changed selection either, so we got very bored of the breakfast. Internet very slow, but this is normal in Rome hotels from what I have heard from people who travel there frequently. The photos on superior and deluxe rooms is not how they really are, they only have one red chair plus desk chair and are smaller.
Staff able to advise suitably on different queries and room is very spacious
breakfast was lovely ,all the varieties of food ,bacon and scrambled eggs where excellent, great location ,2 mins walk from the colosseum . a fantastic cheap pizza restaurant just around the corner from the hotel , also the staff where great and very helpfull.we would definetly stay here again .
avoid room 101.it is just around the corner from reception and is very noisy at night.the windows dont close properly at the top so all the road noise gets in,you can hear all the guests arriving and leaving late at night and the bar area backs onto the room so you hear noise from the bar area.to be fair to the hotel we complained and they moved us to a lovely quiet room on the 3rd floor .
We stayed at the hotel at the recommendation of friends who live near by and couldn't have been happier. There is a very upscale vibe and sense of being in a space that is an escape from the bustle of so much of tourist Rome. We' d definitely stay here again.
Close to Coloseum Good selection of low key restaurants in the vicinity
There was some noise overnight above our room, I think it was the kitchen
Very quick check-in, fantastic service during breakfast with great coffee! Nice with gym on the ground floor.
The rooftop terrace, bar and restaurant were wonderful and the service excellent. The lobby bar seemed to be understaffed and operated haphazardly.
The bathrooms are exceptionally small and the air conditioning didn't operate properly.
Very good location and staff is helpful
Food is a little bit basic
Fairly good location not far from Colosseum, Wifi around the hotel and in the rooms, clean decent size rooms.
Disappointing restaurant. Food was OK but for the price and the overall presentation of a modern twist Italian food which actually turned out to be very average fair you could dine elsewhere.
We love the location of the hotel. The terrace bar and restaurant are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the beds very comfortable. This is our second time staying at this hotel. I will always recommend Capo d Africa.
