We stayed here recently for our honeymoon- the hotel is in a great location- right by the colosseum. The hotel staff are really friendly and helpful- the rooms are very comfortable and clean and tidy. The hotel has a lovely roof top terrace- perfect for sundowners!! Would definitely stay here again!
Location, Staff, Facilities
Highly professional, helpful staff, and beautiful building with large rooms.
The hotel is slightly removed from the center of the city.
Location Breakfast on roof terrace
+ Very helpful staff + Various and good quality breakfast + Good location + Excellent cleanliness During my short stay my room was serviced and cleaned a number of times, the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the hotel in general has unique character. I can only recommend it.
Compare to the advantages, these are only very minor points: - Sound isolation is not perfect; noise can be heard from people moving outside - Internet speed is not very high
service location staff were very friendly lovely breakfast on the terrace free business computer - v useful
The lack of a coffee maker in the room.
Location near to Colosseum, but in a quiet neighborhood.
Loved the location, the breakfast and the rooftop bar. Staff very helpful
Excellent friendly staff in a quiet n convenient location surrounded by Ancient Rome. Juliana made it a memorable stay
location, staff, terrace, breakfast
no complimentary tea/coffee in the room/ and no ironing facility in the room which was rather a big disadvantage.
Location in order to see the Coliseum and the Forum
Noise of fan in the bathroom which was so loud we couldn't sleep! Inadequate no of tables at breakfast, therefore long queues. Unable to use the terrace in the daytime.
friendly and helpful staff, hotel cleanliness, room size, room products, facilities, rooftop terrace for both breakfast and evening, breakfast, wine, snacks.... everything!!
lift was out of order a few times over the long weekend, but it wasn't a problem for us
The room, the staff, the service, the breakfast, the locations
Delightful, modern appearance with palm trees and grand facade promising an uplifting experience inside. Room service a plus, buffet breakfasts with wide selection and efficient service. Fabulous block out curtains with 3 levels of darkness. super modern bathroom with robes and slippers. Huge beds with pillow menu. delicious fresh food and drinks served on the Terrace with a view of the Colosseum. Victoria was a delightful waitress and the live music so relaxing. Taxis close by and car service speedy. Rooms very quiet for Rome. Would stay here again.
Would have loved a view of something more than the street, but understand only some rooms have this. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.Guests could be told at checkin to keep corridor noise to a minimum. This applies to all hotels in Italy, generally. So glad this hotel had carpet to absorb the noise and not the usual terrazzo.
A really lovely hotel on a quiet back street but literally only a 5 minute walk to the colosseum (and an excellent base as all the sites are in walking distance). The staff were all very helpful and polite and the room was lovely (classic double). Breakfast was good and the roof terrace was lovely and always made a very pleasant start to the day! Overall we had an amazing stay in the beautiful city of Rome and would definitely recommend this hotel.
What a lovely hotel, made me feel very special, slippers put out next to the bed every night. We had the best meal ever in the restaurant. it was the Chefs choice, 5 courses over two and half hours, small portions and great flavours. All with a view of the Colosseum and the sun going down behind, bliss.
The rooms were relatively large and nicely appointed.
The staff was hit and miss. Some were helpful while others were quite complacent. They seemed to be quite understaffed as well, which made for lengthy waits on several occasions at reception.
The rooms were wonderful and the staff was so helpful. They even setup a special room with a big TV so that people could watch the World Cup soccer tournament games. The rooftop bar is a great place to relax. I have stayed in other hotels nearby and this was the best place. A great location so convenient to all of the sites and restaurants...I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.
This is a great Hotel in every sense of the word! Staff was very professional and accommodating throughout our stay. We had dinner on the roof top two nights. It was the best food we had our entire trip. Breakfast was varied and fresh.
Fantastic staff, great facility, fabulous chef and roof top restaurant.
Fantastic area! We loved that the colesseum was literally only a few hundred metres away. Staff were really helpful and accommodating. Highly recomed this place!!
Location of the Hotel is ideal. Love the roof terrace area, very nice at breakfast time and for a drink in the evening...
The staff is attentive and made the effort to get to know us. Each morning at breakfast even if different servers were scheduled they knew our coffee preference! The rooms are comfortably furnished and very quiet. The bountiful breakfast buffet could be enjoyed on two roof top patios or indoors. It's on a relatively quiet street in a nice neighborhood and an easy walk to the Coloseum area. There is an adequate gym and PC and printer available for your use.
For the rates charged it would be nice if a swimming pool were available.
The staff were fantastic and the location perfect, it feels like a true boutique hotel. A real gem in Rome !
The wi-fi was a tad hit and miss, but is free and fast so no real complaints.
