The staff at the hotel were wonderful, from check-in, to making us comfortable at the pool by interacting with our children. We had a wonderful stay. The food was fabulous and the waitstaff very attentive.

Near to a nice beach. Our suite had a separate room for our daughter. Very spacious and comfortable for the price. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The evening receptionist was very helpful in finding us a restaurant to eat in that was actually open (being off season most places were closed) - this was 5km up the road where we had a very nice dinner. In the following comments please bear in mind that we visited this hotel very much out of season (late October) - I suspect it is a very different place in high summer. The hotel was staffed by just one person - well two people one for the evening/night who was very helpful and one for the day who was less helpful. Neither spoke English and I enjoyed the challenge of attempting Italian with them. The hotel and the town it is in, Lido Rosello, was almost deserted which felt a bit odd. The swimming pool was closed. Hotel has clearly passed its hey day, but is still functional. It claims to be 4 star, but is closer to 2 star, but frankly - what did I expect for €45 - it was a bargain and an interesting experience.

Very cheap for a 4 star hotel and our room was spacious with a large terrace. There was no restaurant at the hotel but a very nice one about 100m away. The hotel was not like a 4 star one at all. The atmosphere was dreary and there were large patches of damp in the reception/seating area. The breakfast buffet was limiited and the dining room was gloomy. Our family room had a mezzanine area for our daughter that had access steps that were too steep for small children but the ceiling was too low for anyone over about 1.4m, with a bed so uncomfortable that our daughter couldn't get to sleep. The shower outlet was blocked and nothing was done to fix it despite our request. Fortunately we had only booked two nights and were glad to get away.

The hotel would be in a nice area, close to "Scala dei Turchi", but it is very far away from Porto Empedocle, only reachable by car. The hotel is very, very much overrated with 4 stars. We are not at all difficult guests but we did not feel comfortable at all there. Our door to the room could not be locked, neither from inside nor outside. Very dark dining room, bad smell of cleaning detergent and chlorine in the corridors. The room was full of moskitos - living and dead ones on the walls...! Putting moskito nets could probably help. The swimming pool had green algae. In the minibar we found not even mineral water but a half full bottle of beer. Very poor and not appetizing breakfast. Fortunately we had only booked one night, we escaped the soonest possible! Pay also attention to the point that the pictures on the site depicting the sea are not taken directly from the hotel. It is about 200 m away from the shore and hidden beyond other buildings...!

The closest beach is few hundreds meters from the hotel. Relatively close to Scala dei Turchi (5 minutes by car). Breakfast is good, although there are no fried eggs and bacon.. No wireless in the room. Many mosquitoes preventing us from sleeping (check the walls: full of red dots made, presumibly, by customers fighting against mosquitos airforce over previous nights).

Near to the beach, it has an own swimming pool. Helpful, young staff! There is a very good family-run Fish-Trattoria at the other end of the beach! It isn't a four stars hotel, it's a fair three stars hotel with a lot of family- and children-guest. The breakfast was fair, it could be better and it close 9 am! Not too big rooms and the air-condition is very loud! Our room-door didn't work properly...

Location next to Scala dei Turchi and nice sandy beach. Close to Agrigento Very old fashioned, not worth the money they charge and definitely not a 4 star (could possibly have been one in the 80's). Very noisy from the corridor outside and also when someone took a shower or went to the loo above.
