Dating back to the 1400s, the Ca' Dei Polo is next to Tolentini Church and a 5-minute walk from Piazzale Roma, Venice's main bus station. It features a large terrace overlooking the Grand Canal.

I really liked the stuff, the cleanliness and the position of the hotel
THE ROOM IS VERY GOOD AND ALSO THE LOCATION
The STREET ACCESS TO THE HOTEL IS WELL AND STRANGE STINKS IN FISH ON BEHALF OF A FAIR SEAFOOD THAT IS AHEAD
Clean friendly hotel, with spacious rooms . Generous breakfast with lots of choice
Be prepared to go through the fish market and tunnel
Huge rooms, right by canal, nice breakfast, beautiful smell in rooms, nice powerful shower
Slightly too expensive for a longer stay. We stayed one night for a treat
Clean room, Convenient location
I booked very last minute and hotel was very accommodating. The staff were excellent, professional and extremely friendly. Is a great little boutique hotel.
The hotel was tucked away down a sottiportego but was close to the railway and traghetto stops. At breakfast, coffee was made freshly for us. We had as many cups as we wanted. The room and ensuite were excellent.
The sottoportego could be a bit smelly. The area near the canal flooded but this was not a problem for us at all. It could upset some people.
I loved just about everything. Really great location. Great hotel. Period!
When you arrive the alley to the hotel seems scary, but it really is not. Also, it is one of the last spots on the water ferry so the ferries may be full by the time they get to you on a Sunday.
This hotel is at a very convenient location. Walkable distance from the train station and there is a water bus that runs right outside that takes you to the airport. Also being in a central place you can pretty much walk to all the famous places around. The rooms were very spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and having all the modern facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they let you keep your luggage also in case you need to go the airport late.
Nothing at all.
Quiet, clean and good breakfast.
No hot water boiler in the room
Very comfortable and large room Modern outfit with nice design Good breakfast Convenient location at walking distance from railway and bus terminals Out of the busiest areas of Venice
Located at the end of a dark and narrow alley not easy to find Not immediately close to main touristic areas (i.e. at least 20min walking)
Location - step off the Water Taxi and 2 minutes to the hotel. 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Close to shopping and restaurants.
Nicholas and his property are professional, clean and modern. Well located next to the train station, water taxi, food and shops. The breakfast is superb and they even have a barista to make you great coffee! Wifi is fast. Great service, the staff all speak fluent English. I highly recommend this place.
Very clean and nice rooms. Helpful staff at the front desk. Close to the train station which suited us very well.
A bit expensive.
Newly refurbished, clean; well designed bathroom; friendly helpful staff; good breakfast.
Lighting in the room is overly bright and glary. It would be better if the bed cover was not a blanket but duvet.
the modern decor was simple and attractive. the breakfast delicious. easy access to trsin station but away from the hustle and bustle.
Were greeted by friendly and very helpful staff member 'Albano'. Told us of all amenities, helped with wifi connection difficulty (on my end) and offered to print off our boarding passes. This hotel surpassed my expectations and was a 5 minute cab ride to the airport!
Spacious room on ground floor level. Ability to sit outside. Nice breakfast and good location.
Breakfast area is a bit small
We are sabbath observers, no electricity used on saturday. Lights in hallway turn on by themselves when one walks by & doors are electric locked. The staff immediately changed light conditions and made our stay perfect.
Beds too low
fantastic position, very nice, design excellent room
- for that price the breakfast should be at a higher level - the staff was polite but very "cold", one person was non speaking a good italian
An excellent location. Easy to find from the train station and perfect for the restaurants the locals use (in the canals behind). I really loved this place and actually think, compared to other more expensive rooms in the city, you just can't go wrong
The hotel is close to the vaporetta stop and only 7 minute walk to the train station. Excellent restaurant virtually next door, Tontini.
Not a lot.
Located at a quiet lane and close to railway station. Very clean room and excellent amenities. Wifi reception was great, breakfast was excellent and friendly staff. Little pricey, but worth the money!
couldn't pick anything negative.
I have been to Venice many times over the last 15 years - I love Venice, but have often been challenged by accommodations that are either too expensive to even consider, poor in quality, difficult or scary to access at night, or in an inconvenient or overly-touristy neighbourhood. Ca Pozzo Inn excelled in every way - wonderful quiet location that is tucked away in a very safe and well lit side alley, right in the middle of an area where venetians come to shop in the morning (authentic feel), beautiful modern design with great art and very nice outdoor and indoor spaces to sit and relax, and in my case write in the morning! Relaxed breakfast room with fresh fruit, yummy pastries and nice selection of bread, cheese and meat. Very calm and well-designed bedrooms and even the less expensive ones like mine on the ground floor with the higher windows are wonderful! the close proximity to Giglio vaporetto stop for local trips and for the Alilaguna vaporetto transport to the airport is so easy! Also an easy walk to the grand canal San Marcuolo vaporetto! The desk staff are incredibly kind and helpful. This is a lovely home away from home that measures up 100% to my demanding business and leisure travel standards. I will be back next year for sure for an even longer than 5 night stay!
No suggestions at all. Keep things just the way they are!
