Score from 315 reviews Excellent
Very good location, close in to shopping area and also not far from old city Breakfast was pretty good for Italy
Bed mattress was uneven
Friendly staff, nice & clean hotel.
Garage is not connected to the hotel so it's necessary to leave car in other building and walk around 50m. Despite this inconvenience the hotel manages it very well.
the cleanliness of the hotel & in particular the room we had & the very good & effective central heating c/w very comfortable bed
one of the receptionists was not that helpful, (another one went the extra mile to assist us)
Good location clean and cozy rooms
Great service at breakfast. Excellent coffee. The best in town. Mr. Stefano silently and with a smile quickly move around the room during breakfast. Cleanly and even a fireplace was glowing.
Amazing hotel. Upon booking received a welcoming letter from said hotel asking whether we have any pillow preference, if we needed to park car , etc and if we had any other requests. Couldn't be more central, very good breakfast, very clean, room spacious with lovely furniture and very helpful staff. Airport bus stops in front of hotel and only 2.20 euro. Will definitely go back to Bergamo and Without doubt stay in this wonderful hotel again. Thanks, keep up the good work!
Excellent position to explore Bergamo.... Hotel staff polite and efficient!
Our room was a little smelly! Like sweaty feet! So kept window open whilst in the room....
location in lower town, short walk from the railway station, bus stop for airport almost outside hotel door!
memory foam type mattress
Very handily placed, esp' for railway station which we made great use of, and also for the shops, restaurants and Upper Alta. Loved it.
there was nothing I didnt like
incredible place located in the centre of Bergamo bassa. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, comfortable mattress and different pillows to choose from! Breakfast for everyone (not italian biscotto only), ipads to use, gym. The place is fantastic!
wifi low at times
Location is very good. Hotel is easily reached and walking distance to amneties, like station, bars, restaurants, shops and funicular. Breakfast very good. We were in room 352 and looking over the piazza / Porta Nuova/ church. Would recommend 3rd. or 4th. Floor.
Overall cons are very minimal. Street can be a bit noisy.....but it's expected as hotel is very central
The hotel is near the train station, access the old town, shops and restaurants. The staff are well trained and very helpful.
The hotel is a little dated now and the rooms (bathrooms) need to be brought into the modern age with updated facilities. The beds were a little hard but there is a choice of pillow type.
Close to city, nice restaurants you can get a ticket from atb office for 41euros for a week for transport, Good value, staff at breakfast very nice and helpful, recommend trip to Sarnico ,lake Como,Milan
Staff at reception, view from balcony as we had paid extra, breakfast food cold, more info needed on trips and bus/train times etc as we were given wrong or no information
The hotel is in a very central location - 15mins by bus from the airport. Great staff, extremely friendly/helpful. Highly recommend it.
Nice hotel, very central, close to the train station and the funicular to the città alta. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast and nice staff
The hotel is on the bus route from the airport so is easy to get to. Our room was at the back of the hotel so did not have a view, but also did not have any traffic noise. The bed was really comfy and the linen and towels were crisp and clean. Breakfast was good with lots of options as well as hot eggs - not usual in europe. Overall excellent value for money.
Close to airport also train station if you wish to see other parts of Italy
The bed was one of the best I have slept in .
The size of the room was fit for children not normal sized adults it was too too small . The bathroom was too crowded leave out the bidet ,toilet too close to wall .Not enough space for luggage .Poor provisions for early breakfast package ,Offered biscuits.Stewed coffee ,This not value for money when a breakfast was included in tariff ,All hotels we have stayed in provided a good breakfast package for early departures .The reception staff were grim and unwelcoming .Not good enough for a Best Western it was the Worst Western .Trouble getting extra pillows there was no soap in shower or hand basin and no tissues .To access the safe you had to sit on the floor to operate .There was no tourist information available in English .We will not recommend this hotel !!! We would like to have a response from the hotel please .
Location, breakfast, staff, clean
Clean comfortable room, tv with english channels, excellent breakfast. Friendly staff
Getting Wi fi codes every day is ridiculous.
Fabulous room, really clean and comfortable! Service was great, especially the gentleman at breakfast at 6:30, who gave exceptional service. This hotel is much more luxurious and 'up market' than it's exterior suggests!
Only the signage outside! The Best Western logo and the yellow 'Hotel' sign make it look like a budget hotel. Everything else was perfect!
