Beautiful and clean room. The sea view was bocked with trees. Staff was a little bit arrogant. Breakfast was same than in 2 star hotel. |

It was in the center of Capri, so really easy to find. Really close to the bus stop. Had air conditioning, extra pillows and blankets, really pretty views. Would probably stay in Anacapri next time because everything in Capri is extremely overpriced. |

Overall a very comfortable hotel in a great location, just walking distance from the funicular and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and efficient. There is no restaurant for lunch or dinner or a coffee bar. Serves only breakfast, however lots of restaurants closeby. |

We enjoyed the views, which were amazing from the balcony. We had a couple of bottles of wine, watched people pass by below and the views of the bay and surrounding mountains were worth the price of the room. Also the room was large and had two bathrooms. It would have comfortably served 4 people. There was a put up bed in the living area and also a double in the mezzanine area. The staff were excellent and so responsive to putting extra bedding on the "put up" bed The breakfast was a real let down - one of the worst we had in our stay in Italy and considering it was also the most expensive hotel we paid for, this is unforgiveable. We stayed in hotels in Naples (granted not Capri) for nearly one third of the price and had amazing breakfasts - bacon/ eggs, etc. The egg cooker at Hotel Capri was really strange, the eggs exploded and were grey inside - it was like something out of Fawlty Towers! and the waitress was a bit of a control freak like Basil Fawlty in that she didn't allow us to sit in the sun lounge with the great views because it was the "smoking area", however there were no smokers there. |

great reception great location the breakfast is more than poor if you have a sea view room in the first floor the trees dont allow you to have a verry clear sea view eventhough you have pay 290 euros per day you should have a discount for that and pay more if you are in a higher floor. |

The view from our window was spectacular. The room was spacious (on two levels with two bathrooms and with the bed upstairs) and had a classic touch. The breakfast was rather poor considering the level of the hotel. The staff at reception was arrogant. The furniture was rather impractical with no desk in the room. Downstairs only had a worn-out sofa which was rather unpleasant to sit and work on. |

Great location near the center of Capri right on Via Roma. Our sea view room had a lovely balcony with a great view of town, Mt. Vesuvius, and the sea. It was a easy walk down to the beach and nearby buses make for easy transport to the entire island. While wireless internet was available in the hotel at no cost, it was not available in our room in the extended wing of the hotel. |

Hotel Capri was beautiful and a pleasure to stay at. The hotel room was spacious and very comfortable. The concierge could have been more helpful in giving directions and suggesting places to go. |

Nice place to stay in Capri, for a good price. The bathroom is a little bit small, but the room is quite big and we stayed in one with a beautiful view. |

We liked this hotel very much. It felt very genuin, not at all luxuous, but "friendly", in a building that has a "history". The clean room was nicely designed in an almost oldfashioned way, but very practical. Some things didn't work perfectly in the bathroom but that was more of "charming"... Very nice staff! A calm hotel, although located in the centre of Capri. Well, I like dark, rough bread... It's difficult to find in any italian hotel. So, not a problem exclusively for Hotel Capri... |

The view. Location in town. Breakfast was great. I would have expected more from a four star hotel and for the price. Rooms were not furnished as nicely as I expected from the photo's. |

The view from our windows, the large room with sitting area and the cleanness of the room and bathroom. There was no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor but the young man from the hotel carried our baggage up and down for us, which was a feat. The bathroom shower leaked onto the floor and we had to ask for more towels to wipe it up. |

We did a lot of walking to the various sites on the island, and had a very enjoyable experience. Could not get WiFi in the rooms, but could in the lobby and on the terrace/ |
