Friendly, helpful staff Great coffee Good reading material in lobby Effective air con Clean
Wld have been good to have wifi and safe in rooms
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and good central location to get everywhere. Lovely atmospheric old Italian hotel
Lack of tea coffee in room. Poor hot water supply. Noisy
Location, staff, room.
No internet in rooms
Hotel Caravaggio is close to the Colloseum and other fascinating places. The reception staff were mostly very helpful, and moved us after the first night to a quieter room.
The breakfasts were too sweet and not fresh ingredients - sometimes rather stale rolls - processed meat / cheese, and sickly sweet juice. Also the same every day, pretty much.
5 mins walk to the colosseum, nice resteraunts locally, clean rooms.
Very good location and excellent staff service
Breakfast could be a little bit better
Location, close to station and Via Nationale Helpful staff Comfortable room and bed Could open window and get fresh air
Wifi only in reception
Location is great. Staff was very helpful and kind.
Room was very dark and there was no fresh air. Breakfast was very poor. Wifi is available only in reception which is in the separate part of building, that is very discomforting.
Cramped accommodation. No place to unpack clothes. Telephone didn't work and was never repaired. Unsatisfactory access arrangements by elevator in adjoining building
The staff was always very kind and helpful, the room was cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel is in the central of Rome, close to Termini and Republicca metro station. There was an air conditioning in the room.
My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Caravaggio. We found the staff most friendly and helpful, and always available to assist. I would definitely return.
Very polite and helpful reception service Easy access from Rome hotspots Clean room with toiletry Better than expected breakfast
Very old elevator. I was in the 1st floor so I had no problem. No wifi availiable to the rooms
The room was furnished with antiques and was quite charming as well as clean. The staff was unfailingly helpful and friendly. Everyone spoke English. It is located close to Piazza della Repubblica (Metro), Termini (Metro hub and train station) and Via Nazionale (bus to Vatican, Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori). They have a small happy hour each evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Location, staff, happy hour
Breakfast, wifi only in reception area
I have to mention the gentle and really efficient behaviour of M. Magda, to everything we asked and overpass a problem that arise. Most helpful and nice person.
Friendly Helpful staff
Location is great
Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms I got in two different stays where wide, quiet and very neat.
The female stuff at the reception desk is terrible, which is very helpful for me never choosing the same hotel again. The door to the balcony is broken – unable to be locked. It is not good for safty, especially at Rome. Horrible and boring breakfast. Most importantly, the location is poor. Hard to find or reach it! WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!
Staff very friendly and helpfull. Location good.
We stayed in room 102, very dark, no view from window. Quite small.
Just the location
The hotel is indeed NOT a hotel. It is just one of those daunting bed & breaks in Rome.
A small but clean hotel with an elementary breakfast - but at least a breakfast which is not common in Italy. The staff very friendly and kind. The location close to the Colosseum, about 10 minutes walk and close to the central train station Termin - also 10 minutes walk.
Rooms smaller than expected and very basic Breakfast was very basic, ran out of food for some guests.
Location, helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfy.
No tea and coffee making facilities in room. Cramped breakfast area and if you weren't the first to breakfast it was pot luck what was left( ran out of eggs two out of four days and shortage of bread).
