The hotel is situated on the Via Cristoforo Colombo, stategicly positioned between the historical city centre and the international airport in fiumicino. Only a few minutes away from major and most beautiful tourist attractions, like the archaeological area of the Circus Massimo, the Palatino, the Terme of Caracalla and the Catacombs.
Fitted in a modern and comfortable style, it’s comprised of all modern technologies, the Hotel Caravel unites needs for the working and entertainment situation; With it’s Conference centre, and it’s closeness to the trade fair centre, the Eur suburb in rome with it’s Congress Building and the PalaLottomatica site of concerts and sports events, it’s also near the sporting complex of the Tre Fontane and the LunaPark in Rome Eur.

All older children or adults are charged EUR 18.00 per night and person for extra beds.

Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.

Extra beds and baby cots are upon request and need to be confirmed by the hotel.

Supplements will not be calculated automatically in the total costs and have to be paid separately in the hotel.

Deposit

100 percent of the first night will be charged at least one day prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

The hotel location was good. There is a bus stop close by. In other words, good public transport connections. One of the staff was very helpful & friendly. There was a pizza restaurant close by & a supermarket behind the hotel.

There bed was too soft. The heating was not efficient. There was no shower curtain & a hook for the shower hose. Besides, the noise from the other rooms & just outside the room can be heard. It was not sound proof. The staff is not too fluent in English. Generally the staff lack friendliness.

Spacious room

Paper walls, you can easily hear people talking or watching TV in other rooms. Stupid Wi-Fi internet policy - max 2hrs for 4 Euro, no way to buy more time. Very weak signal. No "do not disturb" card available, got woken up by the maids everyday.

Breakfast is good, the staff is kind. The bus station is close to the hotel.

There is only one elevator, and it is quiet busy in breakfast time. There is no Metro station nearby.

The rooms look more like a dorm than like a hotel room. It is uninviting, with only tl-lamps for lighting the rooms, and with signs all over the place of what you are not allowed to do. The internet service is very expensive and user unfriendly.
