Offering free Wi-Fi, Hotel Casa Domitillia is 200 metres from the Catacombs of Domitilla and has good bus links into the centre of Rome. There is a church on site.
Score from 1392 reviews Very good
Cristoforo Colombo is in Rome's EUR district, next to Euroma2 shopping center and close to Rome's GRA beltway. The hotel has free parking and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.
Score from 2035 reviews Good
Enjoy affordable accommodations in Rome’s pretty Garbatella area. Hotel Derby is near good public transportation services into the historic center of Rome and vicinity, and to the city’s EUR business...
Score from 540 reviews Very good
Hotel Regent is in the elegant Parioli district in northern Rome, a 15-minute walk from the Villa Borghese gardens. It features a bar, and functional rooms with wood furnishings and an LCD TV.
Score from 452 reviews Good
service was delivered as advertised, room was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful aand in an enjoyable surroundings
location, location, location. Lack of transportation possibilities to the center Also, noise due to heavy traffic Hotel restaurant - late dinner (9.30-10.00pm) was stale - precooked
very nice design of the rooms good, simple italian breakfast nice staff
Location could be closer to the center, but the Bus is directly in front of the door. WiFi is not included
Good location. Walking distance to the Metro Station Garbatella. Good connections to the city center. Very helpful staff!!!
Daily fees for WLAN :(- Loud, but you can't have it all. For a short trip - 2-3 nights - is more than sufficient.
very big room and comfortable bed. Very silent even with a big avenue outside the window.
Very poor transport facilities other than a bus stop close by.
location is very good historical places are near to this hotel
Rooms small Variety of Asian breakfast not available
Friendly staff, good accomodation, good breakfast, nice and well maintained rooms
Everything was perfect :)
Staff was very nice, hotel is clean and comfortable. Location is not excellent as it is 10-15min away from the closest underground station but we happily walked every single day.
We had stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during our Rome trip. This hotel is pretty conveniently located and is just 5 mins walking distance from Cristofo Colombo bus stop. Just to mention, the Cristofo Colombo bus stop is around 20 mins bus ride from Rome city centre. The hotel looks fresh and is clean. The hotel staff is friendly, courteous and professional. The breakfast spread is pretty good. Also there are quite a few restaurants, pizza outlets and departmental stores around. If you are looking at hotels a bit away from the Rome city center then I would definitely suggest Hotel Caravel.
Though the breakfast spread is pretty good, we found it to be a bit monotonous. We would have loved to have more variety in breakfast.
Good value Clean Comfortable bed Modern hotel Buses outside door to bring to center of city and tourist attractions
Wasn't much of a choice on the menu in resturant
No free wifi
all facilities and staff
location was a little away from main attractions and metro was also about 20 mins walk
- Spacious room - Cleaning staff do great cleaning job in our room, and a lot more friendly than reception staff. Every time we come back to our room, it's always immaculately clean and tidy
- I'm guessing that Rome hotels are not dependent on returning customers, because this hotel has the most rude reception staff I've ever seen. They never look at us when we talked to them. They made us feel very uncomfortable when we needed help, but then again they could never help us with the majority of the things we asked for. They can really learn from their cleaning colleagues, at least those staff know real customer service. - Location is not great, we had to take a taxi to go to most places. Everything else around the hotel seems quite rundown. - Don't expect to go downstairs for a nice drink at night, cause there's nothing going on, better to put the kids (if you've a family) to bed and jump into a taxi to go to some nice cafe/bar for a drink instead. Overall, I wouldn't come back to this hotel nor would I recommend anyone else to stay here.
Hotel is clean and recently renovated, staff helpful, rich breakfast, all in all a very cozy place to spend your vacation or to use for business purposes.
Hotel is not close to the city center. They also wanted to charge us some 8 eur for restaurant services at check out but admitted it had been a confusion after we disputed it.
Very good room, lot of space, nice shower, good cleanliness.
The WiFi is not included, they asked me 10€. For this kind of hotels it should always be free.
the room and clean
the breakfast was simple
It`s a good Hotel with very nice and helpfull staff. Perfect clean room and good Breakfast.
I had a Balcony, but there was no door to go on it. If you like to walk, it`s no problem off the distance to the Metro.
Breakfast and Bedrooms
We had to leave before breakfast on Monday morning. Checking in to the hotel receptionist seemed standoff ish but then was friendlier later.
helpfulness of front desk breakfast bus is easily accessible and takes you right to city center
Breakfast,it was the same every day
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our floor had a vending machine and we liked the restaurant.
Not sure this was the best location if you are in Rome as a tourist. It was a healthy walk to the Coliseum. The location felt more like a business district.
I like the place where is and comfort.
Breakfast is very very poor.Nothing hot on the order, just many kinds of breads and many kinds jam.Nothing hot like sausages, eggs, etc. Staff on reception is not kind.
I liked everything about this hotel. Staff was excellent, room was beautiful and very clean and fresh. Maybe it's not in the center of Rome, but with the city bus (bus stop is in front of the hotel just across the street) it takes 10 minutes. Anyway, the overall impression was excellent. I will have the same hotel next time.
There was one group of guests who were very noisy at night so we could't sleep well. Of course this has nothing to do with the staff (they tried to keep them down) or hotel itself, but that was the only "bad" thing.
Went with family - first time in Rome. First impression of the hotel was very good.....reception area elegant and clean. Rooms were spacious, clean and well laid out. Bathroom and toilet were good. Staff were helpful.
