The room, view, staff, food, reception, price.Everything
The room was too hot at night and i couldn't cool it down (my perspective) my partner was fine.
The room was big and clean
Needs some TLC on the outside of the hotel. Does not do the interior justice.
The staf was really friendly and helpfull. The room with a balcony viewing St Peter's Cathedral was lovely. We are planning to visit again.
The room was big and very comfy. The staff was helpful and kind.
Overnight a bit noisy due to other people chatting on corridor.
The location is far and not very convenient. There´s no internet in the room, only on the first floor. And the room is not very clean. I can see the old stinks in bathroom floors.
I liked the location and the general feel of the hotel. It would have been helpful to have a kettle available for all rooms. Inconveniencing as I had to take take medicine at odd hours.
Little conveniences were not made available and this was annoying coz these are standard in my country. A kettle in a room doesn't break the bank!!!!!
Comfort and cleanliness of the room and an excellent breakfast
Geared up for business and large tour groups rather than indvidual families. Felt there was a lack of interest and a lack of basic visit information - for example given incorrect info about opening times.
Near Vatican within walking distance. Helpful staff, great breakfast, free Wifi in lobby area.
Had to pay for wifi in room. No maps of bus routes.
old design. far from metro. Too expensive. But what isn' t expensive in Rome(?)
We were able to walk to the Vatcan, however public transportation was near by. Would recommend you print off a bus schedule. Bus 916 to the Vatcan but the return was so full we had to take a taxi back to the hotel. Free wifi in lobby was very helpful! Staff excellent!
None- however the bathrooms could have been cleaner.
the lack of the WIFI connection in the rooms
Staff was helpful, the bathroom was clean, the daily cleaning was nicely done
The breakfast was maybe the worst i ever had, no variety, very poor quality. Ham, cheese and pastries basically non-edible. The room was in a very bad condition, walls were dirty, although i have to say that the bathroom was nice, and i felt the cleaning staff did everything to clean the room nicely, but a major renovation is really needed at this hotel. The worst: there was no duvet even though it was rather cold there in october. When we asked for it, we recieved a really dirty duvet, with no duvet cover. The next day they gave us a little bit cleaner blanket, but i still felt like in a summer camp at the age of 10 :)
Due to it being the first trip in the country, we didn't find the staff at the front desk as helpful as they could have been. Directions for bus to downtown were not clear, therefore went opposite direction, wasted two hours on a two day stay in Rome- were made to feel we were bothering them to give us suggestions of where to go. No tourist info available on the city, other than hop on bus. Also no wifi in the room for the price
Nice room Great price Bathroom was good size
Breakfast was not included, which I didn't know until I checked out. Breakfast was not good. Cab to Termini Station is 15 Euro. No one told us how the lights in the room worked and when we called no one came to help.
location, comfort, staff friendly
Breakfast was poor
Good clean comfortable room. Roomy bathroom was excellent! You can see the dome of the basilica from our window.
WiFi signal was horrible. Noticed most other guests used the lobby area to get connection. For the price, should have much better WiFi.
I like the serenity and cleanliness
Communication problem. The staff couldn't speak English fluently.
Plenty of parking area.
Far from center. Poor breakfast.
The Hotel was perfect for us friendly staff. Rooms nice and big very clean. Would recommend. Enjoyed our stay perfect location for us walking distance to some attractions bus ride to others.
Nice hotel with very good breakfast.
Some of front desk staff were not very helpful or friendly.
There is an onsite restaurant that was very convenient! Mostly because there was not anywhere close to eat-- at least within walking distance. The manager of the restaurant was very helpful, especially since the rest of the staff seemed to be fairly new and under training. The restaurant had a terrace with heating lamps-- though they didn't work-- the prices of the food were reasonable. Service was a bit slow but the manager kept a positive attitude which helped. Breakfast was served buffet style and it was very good! Rooms are very neat and tidy with a small refridgerator, shower caps, soap, etc. They also have an American Bar (wet bar) on the property. The staff seemed to be spread thin and had to split their time between operating the bar and restaurant. Though you had to wait a short while, the drinks were worth while and tasted good!
Immediately walking up to the hotel, the pool area looked unkept and dirty. Granted, it was closed for the cold weather but it was quite an eye-sore and made a bad first impression for a four-star hotel. The staff was not very helpful when making suggestions on getting around. In fact-- there was one lady who was especially rude when she had asked for my signature and was quite impatient as I was reading the sheet of paper before signing claiming,"We don't even need the paperwork-- just sign it". My question is, then why even bother asking me? She snatched the paper away before I could even finish reading it! Aside from that, there is no airport shuttle. The staff at the front counter will call you a taxi that will arrive in only 5 minutes. It is a flat rate from the hotel to the airport of 48 euro from a certified "white cab" taxi. From the hotel, to get downtown, you can walk, but it will take anywhere from 30-45 minutes to reach the Vatican. We walked there but decided to take a cab back for 14 euro as it was getting late. My suggestion is not to purchase the hop on hop off bus from the hotel. We decided to buy the tickets on a Sunday for 14 euros each to "reserve" a seat (which actually meant that we would have to pay an additional 14 euros on the bus....). If we had waited to buy the tickets downtown where the buses pick you up, we would have only spent 10 euros each ticket, savings us a good chunk of money. Aside from this-- There is no wifi in the guest rooms but there is password protected wifi in the lobby. Also, a queen size bed is actually two twin beds pushed together... Lastly, no one at the front desk told us that in order to use electricity in the rooms, you have to insert your room key into a slot on the wall. That would have been good to know instead of having to call after thinking there was somethimg wrong. Overall, I did not enjoy my experience at this hotel and will not be returning.
Breakfast was included Room was nice Friendly staff
Wifi ONLY in lobby A/C controlled at the front desk—very frustrating. Woke up with the room around 80 F, despite setting it, requesting it, demanding it to be cooler. The hotel itself is nice, but there were some things that made it feel neglected. Not conveniently located if you don't want to ride the bus.
the rooms are clean , free parking
the staff is horrible especially the manager which is rude , unpleasant , not honest (my opinion), and does not care about the guest , i would recommend you all to avoid mostly because of the staff. the manager in other words told me to get lost becuase he is busy , although he made a promise that he would help me to resolve a problem for long stay i never saw an hotel manager treating customers like that.
This hotel is billed as a four star hotel but I would only give it three. It is ageing and the rooms are very dated, though probably larger than most we have stayed in in Italy. It is clean enough and the staff are attentive and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
The hotel was busy while we were there and the noise from other rooms and the hallway was disturbing.
Very good hotel in terms price/quality.
Our window faced a concrete wall. It didn't bother us much, as we stayed for 1 night though, but still, would be nice to have a good view outside.
