wifi was really bad..
Personel was so helpfull and friendly)

Hugely overpriced, breakfast area was prison like and lacked natural daylight, room service was beyond basic, food synthetic. Carpark dominates out door area, two star hotel maximum. Photographs are misrepresentative. Poor location.
May 15, 2015
The WiFi barely worked in the rooms. Lobby WiFi was good though.
Excellent location; decent walk or short bus ride to the Vatican. Staff were very good and easily handled everything.

The map they gave you is really badly done
The room was excellent
May 14, 2015
The rooms were a bit small and the beds uncomfortable.
Liked the cleanliness of the hotel and how the staff were very pleasant. The hotel is a bit dissociated from most of the scenic places of Rome as it is on the other side of the river and the Vatican.

Convenient, good value, nicely redone.

Staff were friendly, rooms clean and comfortable

The wifi was really poor, i expected better. Also the breakfast, you would expect more from a hotel in italy, the land of great food.
The reception staff were very friendly, accomodating, always willing to help, they made my stay at the hotel a positive one. The two ladies in the reception; sabina and sara were both amazing in every sense of the word.

- remote location (10 min walking from metro station (up and down to hill) + 15 min on metro to any central location) - really terrible breakfast - very slow wifi or doesn't work at all (if you want to check any Rome information, it can take a while) - the rooms are shabby, have carpet - rude stuff - you will pay extra taxes cuz it's 4* hotel (6 euro p/person p/night instead of 2euro) - so add 12 euro for 2 people to the cost of the room per night

Some of the staff were not very friendly. It is far from the city centre. Bad value for money.
The room was good.

The disorder in the breakfast room. More concerned about taking away the plates than refurnishing the empty egg tra or the bacon. The possibilities are there, they just need help from the management. Nice hotel overall.
The terrace which wasn't open. The jacuzzi's which weren't working yet. Nice courtyard inside. The room was nice and clean.

Horrible experience at reception. Very rude, I'm a reception and would never treat anyone the way I was treated. I think I was looked down upon as I booked at a discounted rate on booking.com. i have never in my life come across such a rude receptionist as the one at cardinal st peter hotel in all my life. Put a bad taste to my holiday! The receptionist with short dark brown hair!
The room was nice, restaurant staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming.... Good breakfast

It is very hot and suffocating in the room.Could not sleep well in the nights.
April 13, 2015
Did not have a bad experience, but the kitchen staff was slow to keep the breakfast buffet stocked. The hotel caters to large tour groups and the kitchen did not replenish the buffet timely. The hotel is not very conveniently located for tourist sites of central Rome. Internet was very slow.
Front desk was very helpful, courteous, and efficient. Room was decent size, modern and clean.
April 13, 2015
Our room had a "lovely" view of a hillside with a run down hut on top. I called the front desk to ask if I could get a water kettle to warm my baby bottles and was told that since we did not book a superior room we were ineligible for a kettle. I felt as though we were treated more like a systematic get you in get you out rather than customers. Overall the stay was 5 out of 10. The lady that check us out however was especially pleasant.
15 minute walk to the Vatican
April 10, 2015
Only bad thing was no wifi in rooms
Everything was excellent
April 7, 2015
I really liked the location of the Hotel. Away from all the busy streets of Rome so you can relax nicely and at the same time all the main attractions are near using public transport. Our room had the view of the Vatican and I loved it.
April 7, 2015
Formally 4 stars hotel hooked me in with 50pct discount. This was right price tough. Hotel is nice, staff not 100pct english speaking and could recomend, mainly for short stay. Do not go to restaurant for dinner however. No italian, no good, for urgent cases only
April 6, 2015
We had to ask for kettle and cups for room. You had to pay if you wanted TV other than basic channel. There was mould along the windows. No shower products as advertised, just soap and shampoo.Breakfast room disorganized.
Room cleaned daily.

The only thing I did not like was the wifi Internet it was extremely slow and doesn't always connect and when there is connection it was very slow to respond.
I met lots of people from different countries. The atmosphere was amazing.

Everything else was very substandard ...
