receptionists spoke good English, there was always someone to help. very friendly and helpful breakfast stuff, big choice of food for breakfast. we saw on booking.com there should be shared bathroom but we had our own - nice suprise.

We thought it is a bit closer to the center. It's Ok though when you figure out the bus 14 location. 15 minutes into town.

We booked a small room with a bathroom, but found a huge bathroom attached to our room. (room 333, if you are wanting the most glorious bathroom with a balcony out of any budget hotels we have stayed at). All the staff provided a plethora of smiles, were able to help with anything we needed, and genuinely seemed to care about how pleasant our stay was.We booked five nights originally and asked to stay an extra night and we were given the same budget price for our extra night. The hotel is somewhat far from the city center (30-45 minutes walking) but easily navigated by using the train (about a 15-20 minute walk from the Firenze Rifredi train station) and we were told a bus was right around the corner. It is sometimes nice when staying in a big city to have a place to stay away from the city - where there is not much noise and extreme comfort. The room was amply supplied with toiletries, blankets, air conditioning, sattelite TV, a refrigerator, extra towels, and enough outlets to charge all your electronic devices. The breakfast had a great variety. I recommend the coffee and selection of croissants. A great place to stay !!

Bed was somewhat small in our room, but there are a variety of rooms, with a variety of beds. Location is somewhat far from city center, but in a good way.

The staff at the reception desk and during breakfast were simply adorable. Very helpful and always smiling. These are the things that really make a difference in your holidays. Bravo!

The Hotel Careggi was in a safe neighborhood, with shops nearby. Although the purpose of my trip was to visit family (about a 5 minute walk from the hotel), I could have easily taken a bus into the Florence City Center if I wanted to do so. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a nice breakfast buffet each morning from 6-10 AM (coffee bar, brioche, yogurt, cheese, ham, toast, etc.). The staff (some of which were the owners) were very friendly and accommodating. All of the staff that I encountered spoke English as well. In addition, there is a small, gated park next door to the hotel. I was able to take my grandchildren there to play, making the hotel a good choice for children with families.

Nice and clean hotel, people try to help anytime you need. They did give information about the city attractions. The hotel is old but alright. Very clean and not to far from historical centre, 10 min by bus.

Shower box quite small. Fat people will have serious problems.

The staff was amazing, helpful and nice. Service at breakfast was great. Very good value for our maney, at a resonable walking distance from the center, with easy bus access.

El personal muy atento la habitacion si bien es pequeña es super comoda, el baño grande y muy limpio todo. Si bien es lejos del centro hay un bus que tomas a dos cuadras y en 10 minutos estas en el centro historico.

El baño cuenta con termo electrico, y un dia me termine bañando con agua helada... La habitacion daba hacia la calle y hay demasiada bulla durante todo el dia y la mayor parte de la noche. Hay zancudos !

Pulizia! Un vero schifo il bagno con sangue e feci attaccate al muro, il cestino del bagno pieno di sudicio e peli nelle lenzuola. Igiene assolutamente precaria e inesistente soprattutto per bambini piccoli.

Struttura da rimodernare o, almeno, da ripitturare le pareti che sembrano davvero sporche. Manca l'ascensore e, dato che avevo scelto l'hotel in quanto vicino all'ospedale Careggi, non ho apprezzato molto il fatto di essere stato sistemato al terzo piano con delle scale abbastanza ripide da salire. Il parcheggio lo danno solo a pagamento.

Sistemazione accettabile per soggiorno a Firenze di pochi giorni. Abbastanza confortevole ad un buon prezzo

Bagno non funzionale e nella stanza non c'era un buon odore
