The hotel is situated on the shores of Lake Maggiore offering magnificent views and private beach for sunbathing and swimming. The hotel is easy to find and has plenty of secure parking. The proprietress was charming, welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and all rooms have balconies overlooking the Lake. The breakfast was excellent. Baveno is a good location from which to visit the beautiful towns on the shores of the lake and, of course, the famous Borromeean Islands.

There is little not to like about Hotel Carillon but there is no restaurant for the evening meal. However, the small town of Feriolo is within walking distance and has several restaurants including an excellent restaurant owned by the family. Also, Baveno and the very smart town of Stresa can be visited by a short drive.

I loved my room because it had a small balcony right off the room that we could sit on and look at the lake. The lake was right there and it was beautiful. The only drawback is if it is hot, which normally it isn't, there is no air conditioning. But the owner had an electric fan and it was perfect to open the balcony doors and have the fan running! The breakfast was great and they have a small lunch menu and we could eat outside. They have a small grassy area and a small rocky area right along side the lake. They have a small beach area so you could swim in the lake. It was a great place to relax! Owners are extremely nice!

I have hot flashes so I really need air conditioning but with a fan, it cooled down fast.

Hotel Carrilon is on a great location of lake Maggiore, great service and still relatively affordable. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a room with balcony and a wonderfull view. We stayed there with 2 adults and 3 young children.The hotel has a private beach and a cosy garden with private parking. We had free internet as well. Breakfast with lake view was excelent! The lunch in the hotel was great too. The hotel has a wonderfull lake to swim in. Staff were very friendly and helpfull. We loved Hotel Carillon and its Staff and we recommend it to everyone and will come back for sure. Rachida Gefferie-Amakren

The only missing was that we could not have dinner in the hotel. The hotel has no swimming pool, but a wonderfull lake to swim in.

The Family Hotel was wonderful..Very cosy lounge and cocktail bar with nice oriental carpets in reception, large bedroom double bed spotless bathroom, Room 336, what a view ,all rooms with balcony Beautiful paintings by the Grandfather famous artist Giuseppe Rossella (outstanding) Was recieved with warmth from reception on arrival by Carlotta and Patricia. The view was the best of all of Lake Maggiore, great position, right on waters edge, Nice garden and private beach. nice chairs to sunbathe. Free parking, Free internet. Continental breakfast Fresh. Great service by all especially ROSSELLA and Antonio. The lady of the House Madame DANIELA was charming, drove me to the Shuttle Bus,, Great Service. Must go back soon very enjoyable stay.. -2 parties dans l'hôtel: le coté ancien aurait besoin d'une rénovation et amélioration des équipements (wc...) -TV obsolète

Disponibilité et gentillesse du personnel, autant en salle qu'à la réception ; de plus ils parlent français couramment et peuvent vous conseiller. Certaines chambres sont un peu kitch mais elles sont propres. Notre triple était spacieuse et le balcon au-dessus du lac baigné par le soleil du matin est très appréciable. Le buffet du petit- déjeuner est bien fourni contrairement à d'autres hôtels en Italie.

Hotel ligt op fantastische plek aan het lago Maggiore. Privéstrand voor de gasten. Erg aardig personeel, opa was in 1958 grondlegger en kinderen en kleikinderen runnen het nu. Ontbijtzaal met spectaculair uitzicht en zeer persoonlijke bediening. Dorpje in de buurt zeer sfeervol en prachtig aan het meer gelegen.

La struttura è stata costruita negli anni 50 e nonostante i restauri le camere non sono insonorizzate tra di loro.

La proprietà estremamente gentile e disponibile. Le camere e le parti comuni sembrano ristrutturate di recente. La vista è molto romantica e suggestiva!

La vicinanza con la statale e la mancanza di un bidet in bagno.

Die Dusche war abends lauwarm, und das Klopapier hängt so, dass man sich verrenken muss, um dran zu kommen.

Bel hôtel familial et plage privée. La vue sur le lac depuis le balcon est magnifique. Beau buffet de petit déjeuner et la salle à manger avec vue sur le lac.

Le matelas du lit qui est posé sur un sommier métallique. L'hôtel est un peu éloigné de la ville et de l'embarcadère, ça peut-être une difficulté si vous n'avez pas de véhicule pour vous déplacer.

Direkt am Lago gelegen und alle Zimmer mit Balkon Richtung See, der nächste Ort Feriolo ist fußläufig zu erreichen und ist nicht so überlaufen wie Baveno. Der private Strand ist hübsch und sauber. Der Parkplatz wird nachts abgeschlossen und ist kostenlos, was deutlich besser ist als in Baveno oder Stresa 1 Stunde einen Parkplatz zu suchen. Die Angestellten waren alle nett und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder...

Ein kleines Restaurant oder Bistro mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten wäre schön gewesen. Keine Minibar auf dem Zimmer.

Accueil cordial, personnel compétant et à l'écoute. Chambre spacieuse et la vue sur le lac superbe avec lever de soleil. Très calme malgré la proximité de la route. Hotel très propre. Sa plage et son parking privé sont des atous indéniables et sa situation entre Feriolo et Baveno est plutôt un avantage.

Un petit réfrigérateur (mini bar) serait un plus en période estivale. Un service "dîner" simple du type plat ou menu du jour pourrait être intéressant si on ne veut pas toujours ressortir le soir après une belle journée de visites ou de balades pedestres.
