Our room was fine also good breakfast

My daughter was with us and the single room they gave her was disgusting the wall paper was peeling of the walls the wardrobe would not open the shower door fell off when we complained we were told there would be no discount as we had booked through booking .com

Staff/receptionist were very friendly and helpful, overall good experience

Parking, too expensive for outside parking. Not easy access to front door with case, only steps no slope.

I stayed overnight at the Carlton in Pescara during a long trip from Rome to Lecce, so i do not have too many impressions of the hotel. It is a clean place, offering "smart deals" (my primary reason for choosing it), with a great location on the seafront of the city, right in its centre and about 10 minutes' walk to the central station. My room was somewhat small and oppresive but what can one expect to get for a single occupancy at 39 euro in a four-star accommodation?

Indeed, there was nothing I did not like about Carlton. I was only slightly taken aback when they told me at reception that they had already pre-authorized my credit card. Maybe this is a normal procedure with "smart deals", I don't know

The walls are paper thin. We had an adjoining room which was locked but we could clearly hear the loud American on his phone all night and were woken by his 5:30 am alarm.

I nice hotell almost on the beach and near the shopping area.

We had breakfast in the hotell but we were dissipointed every day when the eggs were overcooked, the bacon looked like it was boiled, and some of the bread was hard. Looked like the breakfast table was not filled up if something got empty.

The atmosphere and decor were good. The breakfast was excellent with pleanty of choice. The bedroom and bathroom were excellent.

There is a roof terrace but that wasn't pointed out and didn't seem to be in use which was a shame as it overlooked the sea.

The chef is marvelous great food, breakfast and dinner, & so was the service. All of the staff was helpful in every way, went out of their way to help. The location is convenient to the beach and restaurants. Nice big sign made it easy to spot along the seafront, and good signage marking the way to it. Lovely, tasteful decor. Was a GREAT experience. Will use it again.

Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. They were very accommodating to park our van. The location was exactly what we were looking for, right near the beaches and restaurants. Beds and rooms were very comfortable and clean.

I liked the bikes to get around

Not much. The location was convenient but loaded with tourists.

Front desk clerk was rude and completely awful. At checkin, I was asked to present my passport. Completely normal, so ok. But then, he wanted me to go away, leave my passport with him while he waited on others and took his time to complete my checkin. Leave my passport with a total stranger? Really!? I said I would wait at the counter and he ordered me yes ordered me to go away. I refused and he pushed me aside - to clear the way for others. The concept of first come, first served meant nothing to him. Made me wait while he took care of the Italian couple with a smal child who came in several minutes after me. The room was a closet in the back. Nothing like the ads. Peeling wallpaper, stuffy, and stinky. The room a/c is totally controlled by the front desk - set at 27/28. When I asked to have it set at 24/26 same rude clerk said that the reading in the room was not accurate, it was certainly cooler than 28 and no change was needed. I insisted and he pretended to make an adjustment. Children running in the hallway, yelling, and if the walls had any insulation, the doors did not. Room was in the back, facing another building. No point in even bothering to open the curtains. No trees, no city scene, and definitely NO BEACH.

We like the Carlton as it was very central. The only bad point was that in our room 328 there was no mirror in the bedroom only the bathroom.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Carlton, We stayed 2 nights prior to the Triatholon in June and enjoyed the excitement at the hotel with many bikers and spouses from all over Europe were present. I had a terrible problem with my laptop computer and the hotel staff member, Melinaì, was kind enough to offer me a hotel "loaner" during my stay! The dining facilities and meals are delicious.The breakfast is very hardy with a personally made caffé-latte made to order! The hotel is situated at the beach and was easy to access for walking and swimming. Carlton is a delight.

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff and a very good selection on the breakfast. Very good value, and right on the beach, what more could you want. Very recommended.

I could'nt find anything wrong with this hotel.

Our aircon appeared to be stuck on blowing a cold draft and the shower had no where to hang up the shower head.

Great location, lovely sea views, clean room and great proximity to the city centre. Would definitely recommend to others - and stay again!

It was my first visiting Pescara and I kept my best inpression of this city. I will recommend your hotel to my colleagues and friends. Thanks a lot.
