pillows very poor. the smallest shower i have ever used i know its venice but it was expensive

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Had fun with the waiters.

Bedroom a little small.

Great breakfast, but would be nice if it varied now and again. Location - close to bus station which was only 15mins from airport. First roomoffered wasn't suitable, but it was changed with no problem, staff helpful. Rooftop terrace lovely.

Nice location. Opposite train station and close to bus station. Very handy. Close to local restaurants. 15 minute walk to St Marks and main sights. Gorgeous roof top bar.

Breakfast was poor. Cheap orange juice was horrible. Breakfast food ran out at 10am and not topped up even though breakfast lasted for another half an hour. Guests were put on temporary breakfast tables in the hallway. Breakfast area was extremely cramped. Wifi is only accessed in lobby and bar area. Shocking that it is not provided in the rooms. Bathroom is very out if date with chipped and broken tiles. Keys had to be handed in when leaving the hotel. This meant queuing for keys behind other guests who could take up to 10 minutes to be seen.

The location is the biggest asset, close to the railway station, bus station and on the main canal; moreover, it is close to numerous attractions on foot. I found the staff friendly and helpful

The price is outrageous for the quality you get. This is NOT a 4 star hotel. The buffet breakfast is very poor, internet access limited to main lobby (WiFi - there is cable in the rooms at an outrageous price), TV channels very limited unless you want to pay. No fitness room. Rooms are good 3-star quality.

Advertised air conditioning but didn't have it. Shower temp fluctuated and too small. Staff overly busy and dismissive when asked for help to Hertz rental agency ( said"over there best you go yourself" didn't tell me they wre closed 1-2pm or ring to find out) staff served Italians first not first in line. Took money first not at end of stay like other hotels. Standard was 2-3 star for any other city in Italy but Venice.

The rooms small but Venetian fancy, staff helpful, room service good.

Far from St Mark's cathedral and so you pay to reach their whereas if we stayed around the cathedral it would have saved the cost of transport + the hotel is very expensive for the serive we get and size of rooms etc.

Location was great and the staff was good.

Our companions were infested with ants in their room. It took lots of complaints before they offered a resolution of a different room and compensation for removing ants from personnal items. The internet connection in rooms did not work. It was available in lobby.

Best location possible - 2 minute walk from the train station and water taxi stop out the front. Staff were great and breakfast was fine. Really nice hotel.

All not frontal rooms have no view at all. Change to the room with a view costs eur50 per day, we said no thank you! Most of the standard rooms are very small! And we didn't get why is it rated 4-star? Pretty much a 3-star <EUR100 typical hotel.

The staff were very good and experienced. Breakfast was great. Room was a good size

We had a room on the grand canal it was a little bit noisy.

Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly, polite and curtious staff. Clean, comfortable rooms and good breakfast.

Friendly staff, very helpfull and atentive without being overbearing. Service and food was excellent. Location briliant. Superior Room, excelent with great view. Noise from Canal was as expected but never intrusive and sleep was no problem, probably the negotiation of multiple bridges and exploring the city enhanced by the hotel comfort ensured relaxation. All in, we highly recomend this Hotel.

Pong from some of the smaller canals, only to be expected. Glad we were there in the winter.

It is very family friendly. They where expecting us with a toy for my daughter.

They charged a very high price for a simple baby food. The rooms windows face to an interior yard were people smoke.

And beautifully furnished and clean hotel. Room was spacious for Venice. Breakfast excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

Had to ask 3 times to get cases from store!

The location is the best feature, across the canal from the train station and main bus area. It is about 40 minute walk to Rialto Bridge 60 minutes to St Marks Square but the water taxi leaves from near the hotel. A good breakfast was included in the room cost.

Some of the staff were either incompetent or just rude, Marco at the from desk and the woman bar tender were in the category. WiFi only available in the lobby, no access in the guest rooms? Overall would look elsewhere if going back.

Venition decor odd, but strangely lovely. Breakfast was nice. Close to gondola service and bridge to ferry

There was nothing to particularly like about it; it is a budget hotel. The location (proximity to the Train Station) is probably the only added value about the hotel.

The Breakfast buffet was very poor and low-budgeted.

Nothing I like, very bad hotel

Do not book this hotel, not match with what you see from website. Wifi is bad, room run down, staffs are not helpful & unfriendly, hotel is old & smelly carpet, breakfast is lousy, location is bad as the crossing of the high bridge with heavy luggage is going to be nightmare. You better off rent hotels that further in with the boat bus that is much convienice & not so stressful.
