The staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is superb and the hotel pizzeria serves excellent pizza at reasonable prices. The hotel has superb views of the lake and the alps. |

Very nice, clean and quiet hotel and inexpensive as well! Rarely can get a quality room including also good breakfast with this kind of price. Bonus was that there is a parking lot for hotel visitors next to the hotel building although only public parking was mentioned when we booked. Our stay at Caroline Hotel was very pleasant, would definitely book a room at this hotel again if travelling in the area. |

The hotel gives a feeling of comfort and coziness and had a nice view to lake even from the 2nd floor. Heating was ok (in november). Nice to come back at night. Very good for that rate ! We were a bit suspicious but we changed our mind. The restaurant was a bit too pretentious and formal with respect to the hotel and the menu was expensive. We did not enter and went to a lovely near by regional trattoria. |

Hotel is very well taken care of, surroundings very pleasant, very nice view to the lake and the mountains. Excellent value for the money. English breakfast is to be avoided (is not English, is bad and is expensive). Continental breakfast that is included in the price is excellent. |

Nice situation near Lake Lugano. Good hotel for the price. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and the breakfast was good. The room was smaller and not as nice as the one we had on a previous visit. We had friends staying at the hotel with us and one had a problem gettng in the shower. The narrow door could be a problem for larger guests. |

The staff were the freindliest we could have wished for,extremely helpful when our car required fixing and helped book tickets to a sold out "Arena " opera at Verona!. The food was fantastic and the beautiful Lake Lugano only a short walk away.Very good value for money and we woulg highly recommend. |

Breakfast was great! The view was spectacular! The staff is extremely kind and helpful......The rooms are spotless and comfortable. We loved staying at the Caroline and will stay there any time we are in this part of Italy. |
