Just 267 yards from Santa Lucia Train Station, Hotel Florida is in central Venice. The staff is available 24 hours a day and 30 minutes a day of internet access in the lobby are free.

Quiet, charming small b&b. Nice courtyard. Clean room. Good value for Venice.
Meager breakfast, NOT included in room price. No in-room wifi.
Very quaint and a quiet place to stay. The courtyard was a lovely place to be after a big day of walking the streets. It was a handy place to everything.
The bathroom was a little too small and tired.
Not friendly staff, poor quality food, very old facilities; good hygiene in fairness
Very nice hotel and great value for Venice. To top it off the staff we encountered were all very friendly and incredibly helpful. Would love to have an excuse to go back!
The location was charming though a bit hard to find at night (which just added to our Venician adventure!) The streets around the property were true narrow allies that are so characteristic for Venice, just makes you smile. We had a room with in suite bathroom, room was good size and very clean. Place was safe and staff very professional and friendly - and they spoke good English!
Cosy, secure room, nice garden area, nice staff.
It was quite noisy outside throughout the nights - people in high spirits walking past into the very small hours & beyond, not the fault of the hotel might I add (the only inner noise that grated a bit was quite a bit of banging/feet upstairs for extended periods)
cute courtyard, sink in bedroom
hard to find, even with GPS we kept feeling like we were making wrong turns because it's very hidden. Also, only WIFI in the courtyard/lobby area. Also would have liked to have paper towels in the shared bathroom, you currently need to bring your towel with you to dry your hands.
This place was very charming and cozy. It even had a resident garden cat named Simba who was so sweet and friendly! It was also close to An Aqua bus stop that only included one set of stairs on the walk, which was nice with the amount of luggage I had.
I did not mind it at all, but be prepared for shared bathroom/shower. It was clean, though!
Lovely quiet part of town. Small hotel. Pretty garden setting. Close to ferries.
1st floor room. But that was just luck. We could have ended up on the second floor. Courtyard was nice. It was a covered garden area and blue mosaic wall. The covering was a vine/ivy like canopy. Staff was friendly and spoke five languages. It was close to the water front to the north side of Venice. There was a water bus station near by.
The room had a light musty smell until we opened the closet/wardrobe. Then the smell was heavy mold. We tried to clean it and air it out while we were out in town, but nothing worked. My wife ended up sick from it. . Internet connectivity was lousy. I frequently had to go outside to the courtyard to use it. There was mold in the shower throughout the grout. The shower head was attached to a bar that was not fixed in place. So when the shower was on the force of the water caused the shower head to move. It caused the floor in the bathroom to flood. Breakfast cost 5 euros extra each day per person. I knew this going into it and was fine with that, but if only consisted of some bread and coffee. Not worth 5 euros. The house keeping staff turned off the air conditioning every day while we were out and opened all of the windows. Since it averaged 85-90 degrees F each day, that meant the room was sweltering every day when we got back to the room. Plus the house keeping staff didn't clean the room until 1-2 pm each day. Hard to understand worn a hotel of only 8-10 very small rooms. Although the staff was friendly, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pretty easy to find if u have map because is near a coast. Personal speak english also russian. We Didnt have breakfast but they ask for 5 Euros, not that much but probably croissant with coffee or tea, really dont know exactly. Very Silent. Had good sleeping. Looked very safe, hide behind 2 doors
25 min walk from centre (entrance to city) if u dont consider whole venezia as centre itself. Plenty of bridges you have to cross and with large baggage it is quite tough. Simple furnished but if you come to see the memories and enjoy good coffee and wine its absolutely no problem. Booked 2 single beds and got 1 big.
Friendly staff and beautiful garden setting
We were told the breakfast was a large Italian style breakfast, after paying 5euros each we realised it was coffee, juice and bread with a few spreads/cheese...
Low price, clean rooms, nice garden, friendly staff, shared bathroom was not a problem, located close to a water-bus stop
The room (with the shared bathroom) was shockingly small! (Almost the size of a double bed), No fridge (which apparently is the case in most hotels in Venice)
clean, comfortable, fast wifi. Nothing special, but everything is good (except breakfast)
there is really nothing to eat for breakfast and i was charged 5 eur for it at the end of my stay (i thought it was included), its also far to walk from the train station (completely opposite side of the town), difficult to find (but i guess its with everything in Venice)
Shared bedroom but own sink. Beautiful garden.
Only one hour to have breakfast and very early. A little expensive for the experience.
Location is great. Quiet and comforting. Easy access to transportation. Also easy to get here from airport.
This hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable, and we'll situated for easy access to/from the airport and train station. The staff was friendly and generous too. Great spot.
The stiff is REALLY friendly and helpful
Everything. The garden, upon first entrance, makes you want to stay forever. Thank you for creating such a beautiful setting. The staff spoke English, were courteous and very helpful. The room was very clean and the shower was rectangular vs. the usual pie shape which was wonderful. There were several great neighborhood restaurants that we were directed to vs. eating at touristy ones. Vaporetto access is excellent. Please post vaporetto access,( 4.1 and 4.2 return to the train station) on the website if not already posted. We definitely encourage others to stay here.
Location good, nice garden, pleasant room.
Charged got a poor breakfast, no safe, no screens on windows, towels were worn, dead bugs on walls never cleaned off, poor intent strength I'm room-had to use out in the lobby.
The place has a very nice and calm environment for your stay.
If you start from the train station and you have a large luggage to carry, it is very far if you want to walk from the train station to the hotel. You will have to take the ACTV (boat bus) which will cost you 7 euro per person per trip. But if you don't mind taking the boat it is very convenience to find the hotel from the boat station.
Beautiful place, easy to find, still clean, great garden,
Wifi only in reception, small room but it's not so important
of the beaten Grand Canal path so more leisurely. close to Valporetto (and Murano). restaurant prices better than in hard-core tourist areas.
Breakfast is basic rolls & coffee and cost extra 5 Euros per. AC didn't work (must be the thing in Italy!). no room safe. no fridge.
