The location puts you right in the heart of the city. Very nice staff and unique accommodation.
Service, staff, location
Very pleasant atmosphere and welcoming staff that tried to help when needed. Nice room with all necessary facilities and the location is just perfect, both the main venue and the nearby apartments are easily accessible by car. There's lift to the upper floors so I could bring my luggage in without any hassle.
Had to wait half hour for check in but the rest of the experience was very good so I'm definitely going back.
It was close to Ponte Sisto, so easy to find your way back once you've found the place & close enough to walk to nice little restaurants. The room looked and felt nice eventhough it's small and windowless(there is a skylight)....it didn't feel claustrophobic. Staff were all lovely - on email and in person.
Trying to find it was a nightmare even though the taxi dropped us very close by(he couldn't drive on to that road). It's very hard to find because there is no sign (you're looking for a name on a bell - on a panel of bells - at an unmarked door!). They could easily give instructions to find it by using more noticeable buildings nearby - just a few doors up from a much larger hotel....warn people that there is no sign to look out for....We were sent up & down the street by locals sending us towards the Campo di Fiori, then others sending us back down to the bridge.
Lovely room, and very helpful staff.
Never dwell on negatives. Besides not much to complain about here and then that would be "nit-picking".
Location was excellent, and the rooms were quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very accommodating with our schedule, and made great recommendations for local restaurants.
The wifi was slow. I was informed that I was "hogging" all the bandwidth by uploading a 5MB picture that took over 15 minutes to upload. If that was all the bandwidth possible, there wasn't much at all.
-very nice and helpful staff -breakfast better than expected -climatic place and great location for exploring Rome
-for the first time can be difficult to find the entrance -a little too thin walls for couples ;-)
we liked location a lot,but keep in mind that surrounded area is very noisy by weekend nights. Even if we had a room on 6th floor, we woke up few times during the night from partying people outside. We had very small surface for cooking,so it was not very comfortable, but we still managed it. Good supermarket next door, nice breakfasts, friendly personnel.
Noisy area by nights. Not perfect wifi.
The hotelier was v helpful & recommended excellent restaurants. Great location!
No lift for 5 floors up. Tough on the old knees!
Friendly, helpfull staff, adequate breakfast, nice terrace areas to eat breakfast and sit ín the sun or in the evening before heading out again, perfect location for all historical sites and easy to get around from there with trams and buses, lots of great restaurants near by
- wifi did not really work at all in room no 5, had go to common/joint areas to use it
Location was great, staff were very friendly and very helpful in confirming tours etc. We asked for food recommendations, and all places we went to were delicious. Highly recommended
Our room was on the fifth floor, and once inside the door there are another 2.5 sets of stairs, so hauling luggage was tough. On a little half street, so taxis may have a little trouble finding the spot
Staff was very nice & polite; owner was very friendly & helpful. One receptionnist is French Canadian (Sophie). Our bedroom and washroom were very clean. Greatly appreciated private balcony with table & chairs, also large terrace with long chairs on the roof. We had a large TV with cable (even one or two French channels coming from France). Location is perfect to visit Pantheon, many plazas, Navona Place and many others. Just beside B&B is a Coop grocery with everything you want to eat for lunches & dinners (very low prices), many restaurants & cafes just nearby, really the perfect location for a B&B. The taxi driver was on time at the B&B at 03h00 in the morning. At this hour, it took us 25 minutes only to go to airport Fiumicino
Frankly there is absolutely nothing we dislike at the Casa Campo De' Fiori.
The helpful staff even wrote out and printed out bus and walking directions to sites around the city. They provided a breakfast for us on our last morning when we had to take a 6:00 am cab to the airport.
One bedroom wall was a bit thin, so that we could hear a neighboring guest coughing the night. We did not hear voices.
What a place - absolutely loved it. Excellent accomodation, very helpful staff, superb location. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending.
I have always known Romans as nice people, but the staff here must be one of the highlights. No complications, no problems, excellent location, impeccable cleanliness and decent-sized room (for the centre of Rome) - as good as it gets.
Giorgio was wonderful. He gave us perfect directions for the bus, made wonderful recommendations for (non-touristy) dinners, and made sure we had a taxi when we needed one. The location could not be more perfect (right across the river from Trastevere and adjacent to Campo de Fiori. There was a great little store a few steps away where we could buy food for lunch and eat on the patio at the Casa so we could reduce our meals in restaurants. The breakfasts were lovely, and we also ate those on the patio. The room was quirky, but clean, secure, and we had everything we needed (we loved it because we were trying to avoid the "hotel" experience.) Our son is getting married next summer and going to Rome for their honeymoon - I have already recommended the Casa as the perfect place to stay.
the staff especially Giorgio when out there way to be helpful . When I return to Rome I would book here again
Very good location but hard to find, from the outside looks like any other apartment block door. Safe and clean. Good service and friendly staff. Room was comfortable and the shower was great.
Not attended at night.
The staff particularly Georgio who couldn't do enough for us.advised us on best walks, places to eat etc.we arrived early and our room wasn't ready but that was no problem.we were given latte's and warm filled croissants on the terrace whilst we waited a very short time.another time we had no corkscrew to open bottle of wine and the staff went and bought one for us to use.the location was a surprise so don't be put off initially! Behind the authentic Italian door in quaint Via Pettarini lies a gem.enjoy
The mosquitoes!!.dont forget the antihistamines if you have a tendency to get bitten
The location was great, staff was very very nice and helpful. I recieved an email prior to my trip, confirming my flight information, they arranged an airport pick up which was really nice. They also walked us all to the other building which really is not all that far away. I actually liked it better. You get the feel of your own place, but the service of a hotel. The staff really goes out of their way to assist with any questions. The room was very spacious for Rome and the location is in the heart of Rome, we walked to everything with no problems. The wifi was also great, we had no problems.
The breakfast is not fabulous by any means. Some of the other guests were super rude about the breakfast and really demanding. Show up early and avoid the crowd. If you are looking for some coffee and a pastry or slice of toast and butter this is perfect and it was great way for us to start our day.
Location and very helpful staff. Knowledgeable about the area.
Small room, no window and no telephone in the room,
Good location, near cafes and night life. Wi-Fi included.
At check in we were told our room was down the street 2 blocks from the main bed and breakfast. We were told to leave our bags in the lobby and someone would take them to our room. Six hours later our bags were still in the lobby and we finally rolled them down the street and into our room. No hot water that night or the next morning and we left for our tour before the office opened and we had no way to report the issue. The room accomodated 4 but that was on a bunk bed and we did not understand that provision. We had prepaid and then at registration we were told there would be an additional fee as the city taxes had increased since our booking. We had no choice but to pay but I do not feel that was appropriate since we had already paid. We had no idea that the refrigerator would not operate when we left the room due to energy conservation. As a result we lost frozen items. A disappointing room and experience.
Service is attentive and generous. Location allows for a pedestrian exploration of most all of Rome's sights... on young legs. Plenty of nice restaurants around the area, and amazing icecreams around the corner. Our appartment was refreshingly refurbished, ideal for a 2+2 family.
We were a bit confused about the arrangement : we expected a B&B but got a satellite appartment instead. My bad as all was clearly mentioned on the booking. Staff anyway arranged the breakfast for us (incl birthday cake for my daughter).
Really nice staff and good service.
The location is super! walking distance of all the major attractions, the popular eating & drinking area of trastevere & right next door to supermarket. The staff were wonderfully attentive.
