Leo is an absolute gem, and everyone knows him. Montefollonico is a very small town, but is blessed with great restaurants and bars. It's quiet and welcoming.

Beautiful location, small size, wonderful food and friendly staff. Luigi and Laura were very kind and helpful with information about getting around in Tuscany. They made us look forward to coming “home” each day.

We loved the property, the olive grove was stunning, walk around early morning or sunset with a glass of wine.
And you have to have dinner there at least one night. We had truffle pasta I still dream about and Pici with olives & sundried tomatos. Amazing.
Breakfast was great, with cappuccinos and eggs and bacon made to order. As well as homemade cakes, ricotta, toast and fruit and juices.
Comfortable rooms and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful.

Good thing about they property is the proximity to the town of Montepulciano and the staff. Other than that the breakfast is decent nothing special though.
Located within the medieval walls of Montepulciano, the 16th-century Albergo Il Marzocco is the oldest hotel in town.

Excellent location, right at the entrance of the old town. We didn't have a chance to experience the breakfast, but we enjoyed the incredible view from our room. Our friends had the same view. Both with a terrace. The sunrise was a dream.
The staff was extremely helpful on every request we had.
So nice to experience an hotel that is not part of a big chain, where there is maybe a bit more comfort, but no uniqueness.

We love Montefollonico, but we aren't going to tell you that, so you won't touristify the place. We would talk about Ristorante Gobbi 13, but that's a secret too. We sure aren't telling you about Bar Sport. Stay away.

If you want to experience the beauty of "Under the Tuscan Sun' then go to Montefollonico. Much less busy than Cortona, a bit of a hideaway stay without compensation of comfort and convenience. The village has everything a dream vacation in Tuscany can offer: fab view, yummy foods, not commercialized, heritage authentic stone-built houses in completely quiet and peaceful area.

Very tiny, but great medieval city, with small supermarket with local Tuscany food and all daily necessities. We have bee for dinner in local Ristorante 13 Gobbi - memorable ( in a full positive way) experience. Local wine producer Innocenti has a Cantina with direct wine selling - beautiful Rosso di Montepulciano, Vino Nobile.... You can taste their wines and buy on the spot. Small city is good starting place to visit Montepulciano, Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, Sienna... I was happy about my choice to choose accommodation here at Da Leo guesthouse.

The town of Montefollonico is very small with one local place to eat, small grocery store and great views. it would make for a nice private get away for 2. However, I recommend having plans made ahead of time or everything will be booked or closed. The closest town is 15-20 minutes and it is Montepulciano!!

Relaxing and quiet place to relax and enjoy great views, Nice food and wine in the region. A bit windy and cold by night in february, which is normal. A couple of great restaurants in the small village. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. I guess during the summer and spring more people fill the streets.
Everything was amazing! We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Montefollonico at Da Leo! Great communication with the host, via Whatsapp, with all kind of information about Tuscany spots and maps provided! the small town is a jewellery, small, quiet and relaxing. The room was very clean, the bed comfy, shower was huge, and we had a beautiful view from our room. We had complimentary tea, coffee at our disposal! We also loved the garden outside! All the gratitude and salute to Leo and his way of making tourism.
Our room had a nice appearance (old-looking/antique, but very well maintained), was very clean and in good order. Bathroom was good. The little town of Montefollonico is a delightful little medieval town, wonderfully silent to sleep at night. We woke up to birds chirping and church bells ringing. Our hostess was polite, helpful and spoke good English. - Miria and Bruno
Luigi, the hotel manager, went out of his way to help. My wife was not feeling well and he took us to the hospital and stayed with me, so he could translate. The staff was also great. They could not do enough for all the guests. The food was excellent and the location was fantastic.
If you go to Tuscany this is the place to stay.
The location of La Miniera was wonderful - only a short walk into Montefollonico. It is also situated in a very beautiful location, very near to Montepulciano and many other beautiful and interesting towns. Luca was very nice and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend La Miniera to anyone planning a trip to this part of Tuscany.

The hotel is beautiful, right in the middle of a vineyard and the most stunning landscape around. Loved the pool area and the restaurant was fantastic!! Amazing handmade pastas and a lovely breakfast the next morning.
Relais La Chiusa is a very beautiful property better olive hills and vin yards with an amazing view on Montepulciano in distance. The personal war very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is indeed dog friendly.
We liked the location very much. The small town of Montefollonico is a very nice, quiet place, ideal for a stopover. Leonardo was a super host and gave us tips for other cities/places for the day after.
This villa in Montefollonico is perfect for vintage design fans! It's cosy and full of charm. The owners were amazing and even gave us a tour of the village. We loved it and would definitely go back!
The location was excellent and the staff at Il Gllicine were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay when visiting Montefollonico.
Everything was perfect. Montefollonico is a lovely place and the appartment is great. The host even brought us lights for the terrace upon our request.
